Denna uppsats handlar om en genusundersökning och läromedelsanalys i religionsläroböcker för skolans senare år inom de abrahamitiska religionerna. Jag har använt mig av sju olika läroböcker och baserat min undersökning på dem, alla läroböckerna är utgivna under olika år tal med den äldsta från 1991 och den senaste från 2012. I min teori lyfter jag fram att kvinnorna osynliggörs i religionsläromedel då man oftast beskriver en religion ur ett manperspektiv. Syftet med undersökningen var att se hur mycket kvinnorna nämns i läroböckerna och jag ställde frågorna hur beskrivs kvinnorna i läroböckerna? Vad skriver författarna om kvinnorna i läroböckerna? Finns beskrivning om kvinnornas roll med i alla läroböckerna? Finns det någon skillnad på äldre och nyare läroböcker? Vilka är i så fall skillnaderna? Med hjälp av textanalys och innehållsanalys besvarade jag min frågeställning.

The project is a practical and theoretical test of IP telephony with Skype in order to form a base for a comparison between IP-Telephony with Skype and the Public Switched Telephony Network (PSTN). PSTN is the common standard that most of us use for telephony today. The objective for the study is to simplify the choice between PSTN and IP-Telephony for the Swedish private customer user group. The project is supposed to answer the following questions. - How easy is it to start using IP-telephony with Skype? - How is the quality of IP-telephony compared to PSTN? - Are all services provided by PSTN available and accessible using the IP-solution? - How are the usability and the availability of support with IP telephony? - Is IP-telephony a cheaper solution and in that case under which circumstances? Within the project a collection of practical and theoretical tests have been performed to be able to form an opinion on the IP-solution in the following areas, installation, function, quality, usability, costs, accessibility and security.

In theory, the logic behind partnerships is simple: All organisations have strengths, but no organisation has all the strength required to do everything. Triggered by global perspectives and challenged by sustainability objectives, the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 pointed out needs for corporate responsibility. In this conference, Private-public partnership, PPP, was identified as a potential way to work towards sustainability, especially as a way to emphasize a corporate responsibility commitment. Nowadays, organizations exist to satisfy the needs and interests of all their stakeholders, such as customers, markets, shareholders, as well as secondary stakeholders such as media, NGOs, and society at large. Addressing all stakeholders and working towards a sustainable business development makes PPP a potential solution, but also a source of challenges.

Syftet med uppsatsen a?r att underso?ka vilka inramningar, frames, som var mest fo?rekommande i portra?tteringen av presidentkandidaten och hans tro.Mormoner a?r en sa? kallad minoritetsreligion i landet och har sedan dess bo?rjan pa? artonhundratalet mo?tt motsta?nd fra?n ba?de den amerikanska befolkningen och staten.

Syftet med detta arbete är att belysa neopaganers religiositet i en relevant samhällskontext där religion blivit något personligt och nästintill tabubelagt. Med en fenomenologisk forskningsansats har fem neopaganers upplevelser studerats ifråga om hur de i dagens Sverige skapar och upprätthåller sina religiösa identiteter. I ljuset av Geertzs resonemang om religion som ett kulturellt system av meningsfulla symboler har jag beskrivit neopaganernas livsvärldar och med hjälp av Jenkins teori kring social identitet som förklaringsmodell har jag analyserat skapandet och upprätthållandet av informanternas religiösa identiteter. Slutligen har det framkommit att neopaganer endast har möjlighet att skapa och upprätthålla religiösa identiteter i och genom sin kollektiva neopaganska identitet då det i dagens samhälle ges ett större erkännande till organiserade grupper än till individer. De skapar och upprätthåller sina neopaganska identiteter genom att umgås med likasinnade och skapa identitetsprospekt utifrån vilken publik de vänder sig till.

Over the last decade, the private insurance market has undergone a stable growth in turnover and growing demand for insurance products in all Member States of the European Union. Therefore, the creation of a single market in insurance will enable consumers to have access to wider choice of insurance products, and insurance companies to gain access to markets in various Member States and compete effectively. The EU legal framework for the insurance industry embraces the Treaty freedoms of services, establishment and capital, the EC Directives and the ECJ case-law. The present thesis identifies numerous factors that hinder the Community insurance market integration and offers possible remedies. The summary of the market obstacles is all-inclusive and reflects the responses to the questionnaires and the Commission surveys.

Managers operating within the dynamic society of today are said to rely on intuition when effective and quick decisions are to be made. This skill or phenomenon has aroused an interest within the academic world of management whom has explored intuition, its relation to decision making and its influencing factors, especially in the private sector. Intuitive decision making is however not isolated solely to this sector but also involved in decision making associated to the public sector. Therefore, the aim of the thesis is to investigate whether managers at the hospital Akademiska in Uppsala involve intuition in decision making and to what extent the factors time, amount of information, individual experience and decision complexity influence the intuition.The theoretical framework includes academic research regarding how intuition and rationality affect decisions, the concept of intuition and factors influencing the intuitiveness of decision making. Furthermore the theoretical discussion explores intuition connected to leadership, negative aspects of intuitive decisions and a comparison between different factors that separates public and private sector in terms of decision making.

Syftet med studien var att se om psykiskt välbefinnande hos avhoppare från sekter är relaterat till förekomsten av psykiska övergrepp i den rörelse som lämnats samt att undersöka hur avhoppares psykiska välbefinnande ser ut. Deltagare var 57 avhoppare från åtta olika religiösa rörelser i Sverige. De rekryterades huvudsakligen genom hjälporganisationer för avhoppare och deltog genom att svara på frågor via ett nätformulär. Resultaten visade att högre förekomst av psykiska övergrepp, mätt med GPA-skalan, var relaterat till sämre psykiskt välbefinnande, mätt med CORE-OM, vilket var enligt hypotesen. Det fanns däremot inte något samband mellan psykiskt välbefinnande och antalet år i rörelsen eller antalet år sedan avhoppet.

Introduction: A general guideline was introduced on October first 2010 regarding a mortgage cap, limiting the degree of leverage of housing as collateral. Through the new guidelines the marked conditions concerning consumers? choice of mortgage has changed. The consumers are limited in the sense that they can?t only use mortgage when purchasing a house.

Background: The Swedish Parliament passed a law change in late 2010, suspending the former requirement for all Swedish incorporated companies to have an auditor. The new limit values allow the smallest incorporated companies to dismiss the auditor of the company (or not appoint one in the case of a newly started company). The opinions of abolishing mandatory audit vary, and little research has been done post to the law change. However, a new situation has arisen, meaning the optional choice of voluntary audit, for some companies.Aims and research questions: The aim of the thesis is to examine the reasons behind voluntary audit in Sweden, as well as what value companies, having chosen audit, see in their auditor. The following research questions have been used in order to fulfill the aim of the thesis: ?Why do small private owner-led incorporated companies in Sweden voluntarily choose audit?? and ?What value does the voluntarily chosen auditor add to the companies??Methodology: The research questions were formulated after reviewing relevant literature and scientific articles regarding the topic of voluntary audit, as well as the recent law change in Sweden.

The main objective of this research was to examine description of Islam in two different schoolbooks about religion. The rapport starts with an introduction of the subject and discusses the background of the topic. After the presentation, aims, and the questions I present my methods and material used in this research. Following the method and material is earlier research where I mention some of the previous rapports and results of researchers within the discourse. The theory used to investigate the text is postcolonial and the orientalism theory presented by Edward Said.The intention of the research was to answer if the books representation contributed to an oriental description of Islam and Muslims and to see how the text and pictures where used and structured.

     Dagens mångkulturella samhälle kräver en ökad kunskap och förståelse för olika kulturer. Forskning visar att sjuksköterskor upplever att det är svårt att relatera till patienten på grund av språkliga och kulturella skillnader. Brist på kulturell kompetens leder till konflikter orsakade av missförstånd och misstolkningar. Sjuksköterskor uttrycker en önskan att utveckla kunskap i transkulturellt vårdande. Utan denna kunskap är det svårt för sjuksköterskor att utveckla en vårdande relation med patienten, vilket i längden kan leda till ett bristande förtroende för sjukvården från patientens sida.

In order to study usability, a test group of ten persons have been used to evaluate the usability of the system.

After the two big hurricanes called ?Gudrun? (2005) and ?Per? (2007) in the south of Sweden, some landowners planted Douglas fir instead of the traditional Norway spruce and Scots pine. They did it for different reasons. Some of them spreading their "risk", others because they wanted better growth or to obtain a more storm-resistant stand and trees more protected against rot. In this study, survival and growth were examined on Douglas fir in 21 different locations, owned by private landowners in southern Sweden.

The conversion in the Viking Age and the High Middle Agea in Scandinavia and how this affected women is discussed. Did women get a better life when the people had converted to Christianity or not. Our written sources are later than the conversion to Christianity. Instead the material culture, graves, grave goods and runic stones, can help us understand the life of women.
