På senare tid har styrelsearbetet blivit mer komplext och tidskrävande. Detta till trots förekommer det att styrelseledamöter innehar flera parallella styrelseuppdrag. Enligt vissa kan parallella uppdrag medföra fördelar för bolaget i form av erfarenhets- och kunskapsutbyte. Samtidigt menar andra att det istället leder till att ledamöterna tar på sig för många uppdrag för att kunna fullgöra sina åtaganden. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om det finns något samband mellan antalet parallella styrelseuppdrag i en bolagsstyrelse och bolagets värde för bolag noterade på Stockholmsbörsen.

Den 1 januari 1999 infördes lagen om anmälningsplikt som ålade revisorn skyldighet att vidtaåtgärder vid misstanke om brott och att under vissa förutsättningar göra anmälan till åklagareeller polis. Tidigare begränsades revisorn av den lagstadgade tystnadsplikten. Fleraremissinstanser däribland FAR och SRS motsatte sig förslaget då man ansåg att det var alltförlångtgående. De befarade att revisorns förtroende gentemot klienten kunde försämras och attde därmed inte skulle få tillgång till den information som är nödvändig för en fullgodrevision. Syftet med införandet av anmälningsplikten var att ekonomisk brottslighet skulleupptäckas samt förebyggas.Vår huvudfråga i denna uppsats är enligt följande: Kan en revisor rimligen hålla perfektbalans mellan att vara agent för myndigheternas brottsbekämpning, och att vara en hjälpredai hanteringen av företagens ekonomiska informationsflöde? Syftet med uppsatsen är attundersöka hur revisorn hanterar sin skyldighet att anmäla vid misstanke om brott och vilkakonsekvenser den har medfört för revisorn.I uppsatsen används kvalitativ metod då vi vill skapa oss djupare förståelse för vårfrågeställning.

Efter en tid av stabila utdelningsnivåer har ett flertal svenska börsnoterade bolag sänkt sina utdelningar under 2009. För att undersöka hur marknaden reagerar på en förändring i utdelningsnivå kan utdelningars signaleffekter studeras. Syftet med studien är att undersöka om det föreligger ett samband mellan ett företags utdelningsnivå och dess signaleffekter samt att undersöka eventuella skillnader i förändring av utdelningsnivå för räkenskapsåren 2007 och 2008. Vidare syftar vi även till att undersöka om annan information har en signaleffekt och därför studeras tre kontrollvariabler; räntabilitet på eget kapital, skuldsättningsgrad och kassaberedskap.Studien utgår från teorin om den effektiva marknaden och Principal-Agentteorin. En kvantitativ metod har använts för att inhämta data från 55 olika bolag från Stockholmsbörsens Large-cap och Mid-cap listor.

Venture capital firms and private equity firms have been the subject of much controversy in the last decade. During this period economies throughout the world have seen a steady increase of these types of firms as owners of companies. In Sweden this has certainly been the case and many argue that this trend will continue to grow stronger in the future. This trend is by many regarded as dangerous and as a threat to the ownership model that has characterized the Swedish economy for decades. Family ownership has been widely regarded as the most beneficial and responsible ownership model in Sweden.

We want with this study understand and explain the significance of the auditor and its recommendations to small businesses in the choice between K2 and K3. Aim: The aim of this study is to describe how the auditor makes recommendations to small businesses in the choice between K2 and K3 and through that create an understanding of what influence the auditor have when it makes recommendations and at the end contribute to the building of models. Formulation of problem: How can we understand and explain the auditor?s recommendations to small businesses in the choice of K2 and K3?Methodology: We have used a qualitative method where we have interview eight auditors.

Computers and business systems are used more frequently in a world where IT gradually is taking over. This is also true when it comes to the real estate valuation process where actors on the Swedish real estate market are using automatic valuation systems for real estate appraisal. But the real estate agents have not yet seen the charm in using these automatic valuation systems for real estate appraisal. Can the real estate agents also use the automatic valuation systems? We developed our three main subjects: the valuation process, an automatic valuation system and the real estate market with assistance from scientific articles.

Genom att studera hur dessa bolag utformar sina belöningssystem vill vi föra en diskussion kring hur de använder sig av belöningar i praktiken. Genom att åstadkomma detta har vi som förhoppning att kunna bidra med nya observationer till belöningssystemdebatten.Metod: Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ undersökning med induktiv ansats, där vi genomfört sex stycken intervjuer med svenska stora onoterade aktiebolag.Teoretisk Referensram: Till följd av vår induktiva ansats bygger teorin på den empiri vi fått tillgång genom våra respondenter.Slutsats: Agentteorin parallellt med Stewardship teorin tillämpas dock utan dessas exakta teoretiska design. Företagen erbjuder marknadsmässiga löner, utöver de påverkar marknaden dem inte.

The underlying purpose of this study is to see whether a library focused solely on providing literature in other languages than Swedish serves as a unifying, integrating force, or as an agent for division and exclusion. The study focuses on the International Library in Stockholm. The authors have created a profile of the visitors of the selected library, concerning their characteristics, their library habits and their perceptions of the International library. This profile has then been compared with the staff?s perception of the visitors as a group.

The purpose of this essay is to critically review three different contributions to the agency ? structure debate from a political science perspective. My opinon is that the agency ? structure debate is one of the main problems within the social science. The theories which I will examine are Lennart Berntsons theory from 1974, Lennart Lundquists from 1984 and Walter Carlsnaes from 1992.

Itraconazole is a third generation azol, a fungicide which acts by inhibiting ergerosterol synthesis in the fungal cell membrane, and thereby disturbing fungal regeneration. It has proven to be less toxic, to have a broader spectrum of activity and to be more potent than its predecessor ketoconazole. Itraconazole is only available in therapheutics approved for human use. Pharmacokinetic studies has been performed in humans, dogs, cats and laboratory animals. Although itraconazole has been used tentatively with good effect against fungal infections in horses, no pharmacokinetic studies have yet been done.

Since early civilization, herbal tea has been used as remedies for an abundance of different diseases. Among these herbal remedies, peppermint (Mentha piperita) was used for its effect on bowel related ailments. Even though peppermint was not described until late 17th century, it has been used since 1000 years before Christ by the Egyptians. Another part that is going to be dealt with is how large the future need for energy experts in this field will be, and which competence that will be demanded for them.The work will in general deal with simplified energy declarations for apartment houses and public buildings, since these buildings are the first to be involved with energy declarations.The energy declaration will consist of a number of important components.? Energy power i.e. how much energy the building consume? If the ventilation control is done? If the radon measurement is carried out? Recommendations of measures to improve the energy power? Reference value to compare the buildings energy power againstAccording to the law the declaration shall been made by an independent expert, which will need certain information for this.

The Squares Family is a game developed as a learning aid in mathematics. With its graphical representation of the decimal system, the four basic arithmetic operations and positive and negative numbers together with a learning agent as pedagogical approach, the game?s primary purpose is to motivate students in their learning of mathematics. Although the game is strictly based on mathematical rules it attempts to encourage students to play and work with math without experiencing it as mathematics as this is initially not obvious. The game being internationally tested on normal performing students, this project introduced the game to six Swedish students who experience low motivation for and/or difficulties in mathematics.
