Background:The concept of transition means a change in a person's life where he or she is forced to adapt. There are different phases in life that results in different adaptations. In this essay, transition is described as the physical and mental journey between the home and an elder care facility. The Aim was to describe elderly people's experiences of transition when moving from their previous home into an elder care facility. The Method used was a literature review.

Efter att olika inlånade organisationsmodeller från industrin under 1930 till 1960-talet visat på brister när det gäller organisation av hälso- och sjukvård, introducerades i slutet av 1960-talet primary nursing. Modellen bygger på en till en principen, 24-timmars ansvar och minimal arbetsdelning, vilket leder till att sjuksköterskor ser hela människan och bedriver en patientcentrerad vård. Den rådande organisationsmodellen påverkar sjuksköterskans upplevelse och därför har vi utifrån vårt syfte, att beskriva sjuksköterskans upplevelse av primary nursing, valt att göra en litteraturstudie. Med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats har vi analyserat data från tio artiklar. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: att känna ansvar och vara självständig, att samarbete och kommunikation är avgörande, att patienter och anhöriga är nöjda och trygga, att känna tillfredställelse i arbetet samt krav och hinder.

Studier har visat att det finns ett samband mellan syskonplacering och locus of control, medan andra studier inte funnit något samband. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka relationen mellan syskonplacering, kön och locus of control ur ett hälsoperspektiv hos gymnasieelever i årskurs 3. I undersökningen deltog 147 gymnasielever ifrån fem skolor i Kronobergs län. Resultatet visade att kön och syskonplacering samvarierade med intern health locus of control (F= 3,01;p< 0,03; ES= 6,2) och att syskonplacering och kön tillsammans inte visade någon signifikant inverkan på extern health locus of control (F= 2,20;p=<0,09; ES= 4,6). There have been debates on the big differences in mathematics knowledge concerning pupils in Sweden and Finland. Especially, one common issue in the discussions of education is the Pisa test results, which take up in the media. In the Pisa research the Finnish pupils get through well year after year. Because of the discussions about the distinct school systems in Sweden and Finland, I found it interesting to investigate the divergence of the curriculums in these two countries. The main research questions asked were, what are the main differences and similarities in the Swedish and Finnish curriculums in primary school? Such as, is the assignment of primary school similar in Sweden and Finland?In my study I analyzed and compared by means of the curriculum especially mathe-matics teaching in primary schools in grade three in Sweden and in grade two Fin-land.

Background: Obesity surgery is the only technique that has proved to have a long-lasting effect on weight loss. Operation is not a solution but rather a lifelong involvement for the person. To loose a lot of weight means a big adjustment for both body and mind and the operated person may need support, advice, information and encouragement. Aim: The aim was to describe how a person, operated for obesity, can be supported in order to reach improved health pre- and postoperative. Method: A systematic literature study was made which resulted in 18 scientific articles that have been reviewed.

AimThe purpose of this study is to investigate how schools who have a health concentration and schools who haven?t are teaching physical education and if possible compare these schools.This study is based on following questions: How do schools with a health concentration and schools who haven?t, in compulsory school, teach physical education and health. How do physical education teachers describe their teaching and how do the students describe it.MethodMy study is a qualitative study based on interviews with teachers and students from different schools. The interviews have been made on four different schools from all over the country. I have interviewed one physical education teacher and four students, two boys and two girls, from each school.

ABSTRACT: Introduction: There are intentions from the Swedish government to provide guidelines and tools for a healthy social planning. The field is in a Swedish context relatively unstudied regarding psychosocial health and the neighbourhood. Aim: The study aimed to examine how social planning can affect the health of individuals. The focus areas were contextual and compositional factors related to individuals' psychosocial health and the contextual risk- and health factors that exist in the neighbourhood. Method: A literature-based study was conducted and 15 scholarly articles form the basis for analyse.

TIA är en kraftig varningssignal för att drabbas av en allvarligare hjärt-kärlhändelse, bland annat stroke. Hjärt-kärlsjukdomar är beroende av levnadsvanor, där låg nivå av fysisk aktivitet är en viktig faktor. Bland de viktigaste behandlingsmetoderna mot hjärt-kärlsjukdomar, både primär - och sekundärpreventivt, är förändring av levnadsvanor. Rådgivning om fysisk aktivitet bör bestå av individanpassade muntliga råd i kombination med skriftlig information och uppföljning. Sjukgymnaster som träffar TIA-patienter har möjlighet att informera patienterna om fysisk aktivitet men det är inte känt i vilken omfattning detta sker.
