Business valuation is something that is carried out on a daily basis and relevant to both small and large businesses. Valuations are often long and complex processes that may be difficult to understand, even for those who have received an education in the field. In this thesis, we try to create a better understanding of how this process works.   Since we are aware of many aspects of the theory behind business valuation, but very little insight into the practical activities, we have chosen a deductive approach, i.e. to go from theory to empirical data.   The conclusion is that the methods presented in the theory is largely used in practice, and that the process of valuation mighty seldom differ between valuations. For the seller to be able to charge a higher value for their companies, it is important to have knowledge of, and review the value-creating factors in the company.

A Geographic Information System (GIS) is about presentinginformation with the map as a base. This is increasingly being used on internetsites and in mobile apps. With a GPS it is possible to see where you are andhow to reach a destination or check if the bus is in time. A question to ask isif this technology is possible to implement in ordinary primary schooleducation. If it is, learning history, geography, religion and so on with a GISlearning tool might be possible.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine and explain the various methods available to rate the erosion damage, and on which teeth and tooth surfaces of erosion damage mostly occurs in children and adolescents.Method: A literature review was conducted, based on 15 scientific articles that have been reviewed, evaluated and analyzed. Articles were searched for in the database PubMed.Result: Six of the articles used the TWI (tooth wear index), which is an index to diagnose the tooth wear in the primary and permanent dentition. Eight articles used other indices as they considered that the TWI was not sufficiently developed to register the degree of tooth wear on some teeth. Tooth wear in the primary dentition occurs most often in the canines and incisors. Tooth wear in the permanent dentition was found in the literature to be mostly occurring on the occlusal / incisal surfaces of all teeth and tooth surfaces.LyssnaConclusion: There is no common index in the articles but many of them use the TWI.

The making of a cultural historical exhibition usually involves the collaboration of two categories of professionals: the curator, in charge of the exhibition content, and the designer. From these positions, representing content and form, the team is in charge of cooperating towards a shared goal ? the exhibition ? which is the spatial expression of ideas.This MA thesis is based on my work experience as a designer of cultural historical exhibitions. By means of situations where my perspective collided with that of the museum curators?, I examine our different concepts on a number of issues: the meaning of an exhibition; the process; and the perception of what our respective roles are.

The purpose of this study is to examine how two different primary schools with the same school management district work with daily physical activity. We have chosen to conduct our investigation based on interviews. Through the interviews, we can highlight the teacher´s and principal´s interpretations of the concept regarding physical activity and find out the school´s arguments and working methods for pupil´s physical activity. These two schools work with physical activity in two different ways and the study describes the teacher´s and principal's choice of approach. Since our training is directed towards the younger ages, school years 1-3, we chose to interview teachers who work in these classes.

The aim of this paper is to perform a comparative study between the photography?s of Leila Khaled and Shirin Neshat in order to observe if the woman are able to recede from an conventional formation to become the bearer of the veil and not only reduced to that whichneeds to be concealed. From a feministic perspective I have observed how the symbolic of the veil moulds the woman and how the woman in her context moulds the veil.In the description of the news photography of Khaled and the art photography produced by Neshat the mechanisms that lies as a foundation for the modelling of the portraits becomesthe essays primary entrance. Animal welfare issues are not considered as high priority in Malawi, a developing country in south east Africa, due to problems affecting the human population. In Lilongwe, the capital city, education programs are used to increase the awareness of animal welfare issues among primary school children. A study was undertaken to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and practice of animal welfare in primary school children as well as two different teaching methods for animal welfare, namely humane lessons (HL) and Animal Kindness Clubs (AKC). The gender perspective, in terms of differences in attitude towards and knowledge in animal welfare, was also evaluated as well as the link between domestic and animal violence. The study was performed in collaboration with Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (LSPCA). A questionnaire of multiple choice character was handed out to 249 children aged between 9 and 15 from six different schools.

Vårt syfte är att titta på den nya speciallärarutbildningen som startar våren 2008 och att se vilka tankar den väcker hos specialpedagogerna och specialpedagogiken. Vi har pratat med rektorer och specialpedagoger för att höra deras synpunkter och få fram deras känslor och reaktioner på utvecklingen inom det specialpedagogiska området. I teorin beskriver vi vad som skiljer specialpedagogen och specialläraren åt och vad de har för olika roller. Rektorsrollen finns också med för att få ett bredare perspektiv. Vi redogör för aktuell debatt med tidningsstudier och politiska ståndpunkter i ämnet.

The aim of this study was to analyze the assessment of the primary school, from the teacher?s perspective. There has been an ongoing discussion regarding assessment and about the purposes of assessment for a long time. But there is a paucity of research on what teachers believe about. This study examined primary teachers? beliefs on major purposes of assessment.Assessment is the process of gathering and interpreting information about students? learning.

The EU Council adopted in 2007, environmental and energy goals with the aim of them must be met by 2050. This, in combination with those of the Swedish government 15 enacted environmental goals is supposed to lead the way for the Swedish environmental work.This report has examined measures in properties in the Swedish Cooperative Housing Society (SKB) stocks.The report discusses a range of measures that might be appropriate to apply on the properties to make them more energy efficient.One of the measures discussed, the vent whose primary purpose is to create a good indoor environment for the residents but is also where the most energy is lost.Another measure discussed is insulation of the building envelope on the estate to make it more energy efficient. To put extra insulation on the building envelope is important because of the large amount of energy that is lost through the walls, ceilings and floors.Future actions that may be implemented is individual billing of heating and hot water. This system has been used in European countries since the 70's and today the EU wants to increase the own individuals control over their electricity costs. This has led to a discussion whether to implement the system in Sweden or not.However, there are a number of equitable measures to be sorted out before the system can be used in any great scale.Finally, it is important to remember that environmental measures should be the primary and the pursuit of cost reductions the secondary otherwise you risk the environmental work to be counterproductive..

The Swedish building and property management sector are responsible for about 30 % of the total energy use. In order to take environmental consideration, different environmental assessment tools and standards are used. Miljo?byggnad, Svanen, FEBY12 and PHI are some of these. There has been increased interest to certify buildings and therefore it is of interest to evaluate the assessment of the energy field to see if relevant energy aspects are assessed.

Mitt syfte med detta arbete har varit att undersöka i vilken utsträckning speletDreamlords: The Reawakening tillfredsställer olika motivationer, samt hur det skullekunna omformas för att bättre tillfredsställa dessa.Det första som gjordes var att undersöka teorier som finns om ämnet, och av dessa harjag valt att använda mig av Bartles spelartyper (2003) och Yees komponenter förmotivation (2007), samt att jag även har använt mig av Yees undersökning av preferensav klasstyp (2008). Jag har valt ut de delar som är mest intressant för detta arbete, dvs.det som är applicerbart på Dreamlords: The Reawakening.I analysen används alla modeller var för sig för att utröna om de i sin helhet eller delar avteorierna är applicerbara på Dreamlords: The Reawakening. Analysen innebär enundersökning om vilka spelartyper, komponenter och roller som tillfredsställs, och vilka som inte gör det. Resultatet av denna undersökning är tänkt att ligga till grund för eneventuell om-design av raserna i spelet i ett försök att tillfredsställa fler spelartyper ochkomponenter.Om motivationer kan jag som slutsats säga att Dreamlords: The Reawakeningtillfredsställer de flesta motivationerna delvis, men det finns mycket som kan görasbättre.För rollerna är det dock värre. Jag fann att Dreamlords: The Reawakening i nulägeterbjuder några roller som en spelare kan anta, dock är det en som är överlägset bäst,?skada på avstånd?, eller ?kiting?.

Det offentliga rummet är så mycket mer än bara ett mellanrum. Det skapar ?liv mellem husene? som Jan Gehl har beskrivit det. Ett mänskligt liv som vi, blivande landskapsarkitekter och stadens planerare och utformare, kan måna om och välja att göra utrymme för. För ?livet? uppstår inte bara av sig självt.

Det övergripande syftet med vårt examensarbete är att undersöka hur elever samtalar med varandra när de löser olika matematiska uppgifter. Fokus i studien ligger på hur elever samtalar samt vilka matematiska begrepp de använder sig av. Vi har genomfört en studie med två grupper av elever i skolår 3. Grupperna bestod av två flickor och två pojkar. Eleverna arbetade med olika matematiska problem i grupp och vi ljudinspelade samtalen.
