Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine how teachers in primary school reason about and problematize the phenomenon of concentration difficulties. I want to know what the teachers think characterizes concentration difficulties, the situations in which difficulties creates the most problems, and whether the teachers think that these difficulties solely depend on external factors. To examine this, I chose to do interviews with three teachers in years four to six. I have completed parts of my work with my colleague Elin Preisz. We have used the same purpose and issues in our studies, although Elin has interviewed teachers in preschool. With this we want to be able to compare the reasoning between teachers at different stages in school. The results of my study shows that the interviewees think that it is hard to describe what characterizes the problems in concentration difficulties because the problems is very individual.

This study aims at examine what kind of interest the European Union (EU) have in promoting a democracy process in Eastern Europe. The study is a descriptive case study where the case Ukraine is used to draw general conclusions. The questions asked to pursue the aim are: why does the EU want to promote a democracy process in Ukraine, what kind of methods does the EU use  and why is Russia trying to prevent the EU-Ukraine development and instead supporting a Russia-Ukraine development. In this study an analytical model is created and used to analyze EU:s way in promoting democracy in Ukraine. The analyze model consists of six steps used to describe the general promotion of a democracy process and it?s applied in the empirical analysis.

The making of a cultural historical exhibition usually involves the collaboration of two categories of professionals: the curator, in charge of the exhibition content, and the designer. From these positions, representing content and form, the team is in charge of cooperating towards a shared goal ? the exhibition ? which is the spatial expression of ideas.This MA thesis is based on my work experience as a designer of cultural historical exhibitions. By means of situations where my perspective collided with that of the museum curators?, I examine our different concepts on a number of issues: the meaning of an exhibition; the process; and the perception of what our respective roles are.

In July 2011, new regulations regarding school libraries came into effect through a new education act for Swedish schools. The wording of the Act has been the basis of much discussion in which the concepts of "school library" and "access" makes it difficult to build consensus among different parties, why this can cause difficulties in ultimately construct equal access to school library. The purpose of this survey is to examine the interpretations and practices that exist around the school library and its functions among primary school principals. The principals have been selected on the basis that they themselves (the schools) already indicated that they do not have access to their own school library within the school premises. As a theoretical starting point, I used the school library researcher David Loertscher?s taxonomy for school leaders.

När Scanias maskiner som ska testa nya lastbilskomponenter eller hela lastbilar, så kallade testriggar, inte fungerar som de ska så fanns det i dagsläget en uppfattning att problemen i vissa fall dels var återkommande och dels var svåranalyserade. På grund av detta ville Scania Tekniskt Centrum (STC) införa rotorsaksanalyser av när testriggar inte fungerade som de skulle. Denna studie har undersökt vad som i dagsläget behövde förändras och vad som möjliggjorde att rotorsaksanalyser av fallerande hos testriggarna skulle fungera så bra som möjligt.En nulägesanalys gjordes. Resultaten av denna visade på att fyra roller fanns som var involverade i att åtgärda fel hos testriggarna, nämligen de som äger riggarna, de som arbetar med underhåll av riggarna, de som utvecklar riggarna och de som är ansvariga för arbetsmiljön och säkerheten hos riggarna. En process map skapades för att visa hur dessa roller i dagsläget samverkade för att bygga testriggar och åtgärda fel hos dem.Resultaten av nulägesanalysen visade på att fyra övergripande faktorer påverkade huruvida rotorsaksanalyser skulle kunna genomföras.

Objective: The objective is to examine if long terms of payment are created because of a perceived zero-sum game in the cash-to-cash cycles between companies. The study will also examine if dependence effects the dependent companies Cash-to-Cash-cycle because of long terms of payment. Scientific method: The study uses a qualitative and a quantitative method, where primary data is collected from semi-structured interviews. Additional primary data is collected from an unstructured interview with an expert in the field of which is examined. Additional data has been collected from the studied companies? annual reports.Theoretical references: The primary theory has been Game theory, where the researchers have used this theory to analyze the behaviors of the companies.

Facebook har öppnat upp för ett helt nytt sätt att kommunicera, och de flesta har en åsikt om det, om de använder sig av Facebook eller inte. Olika personer använder Facebook på olika sätt. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur informanterna upplever att användandet av Facebook påverkar dem i deras vardag. För att uppnå syftet användes metoderna deltagande observation och kvalitativ intervju med sex Facebook - användare. Vid observationerna studeras vad informanterna faktiskt gör på Facebook, medan de i intervjuerna får möjlighet att berätta hur de själva påverkas av Facebook. Resultatet visar att informanterna hade någon form av hatkärlek till Facebook som gör att de både irriterade sig på det samtidigt som de inte kan hålla sig ifrån sidan, vilket är en av studiens viktigaste slutsatser.

Background: The abortion issue raises many ethical, moral and religious aspectsand is therefore well debated worldwide. In the care for an abortion seeking woman, it isimportant that the nurse find a balance between her and the woman's moral opinions aboutabortion in the quest to achieve good care.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe nurses? experiences of caring for womenundergoing abortion.Methods: Literature review based on ten original articles.Results: Literature review's results highlights two key themes: nurse?s experience of anemotional roller coaster as well as difficulties and challenging experiences at work inabortion care. These two themes consists of three subthemes: to get support in the workthrough to vent thoughts and feelings, how strain and stress affects the nurse's work and as anurse learn to accept the woman?s choice.Discussions: Within abortion care nurses find it difficult dealing with theemotional roller coaster that can occur while they strive to maintain an ethical andprofessional approach.

Sedan 1960-talet har HR genomgått stora förändringar vilka inneburit en övergång från den traditionella rollen med administrativt ansvar och lönehantering till ett större ansvarsområde med helhetssyn över organisationen samtidigt som ett mer operativt och strategiskt arbete antagits. Idag ser många inom HR att de har en självklar plats i organisationens översta skikt medan realiteten inte speglar samma bild. Då det bland medarbetarna råder oklarheter kring HR och dess bidragande resurser för hur deras arbete genererar ekonomiskt till organisationen, har HR och dess legitimitet ifrågasatts. I denna studie kommer den upplevda statusen inom HR-yrket att undersökas utifrån tre perspektiv. Frågeställningarna är följande: Hur upplever intervjupersonerna med roller inom HR sin status i sitt arbete ur ett påverkansmöjlighetsperspektiv? Hur upplever intervjupersonerna med roller inom HR sin status i sitt arbete ur ett könsperspektiv? Hur upplever intervjupersonerna med roller inom HR sin status i sitt arbete ur ett organisationsteoretiskt perspektiv? Denna studie syftar till att öka förståelsen för den status som HR upplever sig ha utifrån ovan nämnda teman då statusfältet av oss setts som ett relativt outforskat område.

Nowadays, cooperation is necessary and this study tries to illuminate the possibilities and problems about cooperation in fiction between 7 small/midsize farms in Skåne. Conventional Farming is done with grain and sugarbeets as specialization. Calculation of machine costs have been done and compared in the study, both for the farms in thorough and the fictitious operation companies. Business ratios as depreciation/ha, interest/ha and maintenance/ha have been calculated. In this essay we present a proposal about how a practical implementation can be done. In the proposal there is an example how the distribution of work can be done.

ABSTRACTProblems with high turnover in nursing has escalated during the last years both nationally and internationally. according to previous research job satisfaction and quality of care was connected to specific features of the hospital work environement. It was also recommended by Coomber & Barriball (2007) to analyze job satisfaction at ward level with qualitative interviews to get a deeper and more extended insight in which specific features are of importance.The aim of this study was to investigate and describe the experiance of job satisfaction in relation to quality of care from nurses perspective. This study was carried out at an orthopaedic ward with primary nursing as organizational context of care.Two focus group interviews were conducted, they comprised nine nurses with at least two years experiance of primary nursing. A qualitative content analysis with inductive approach was used in order to develop more detailed insights of potential factors influencing work satisfaction at ward level.

Syftet med denna undersökning har varit att genom att analysera och följa rapporteringen om händelserna i stockholmsförorten Husby 2013 undersöka hur medierna gestaltar polisen och vilket utrymme polisen får i nyhetsrapporteringen. Undersökningen är en fallstudie där materialet består av artiklar från Svenska Dagböadet, Dagens Nyheter och Expressen. Studien är uppdelad i två delar där artiklarna har analyserats både kvalitativt och kvantitativt. Resultaten från den kvantitativa delen har använts för att pröva teorierna kring elitkällor och primary definers och jämförs med tidigare forskningsresultat. Det finns två väldigt olika bilder av polisen. Dels är det den våldsamma närmast militärliknande polisen, dels är det den synliga, folkliga och trygghetsskapande polisen.

Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att se sagans betydelse för ett barn i förskoleålderns språkliga utveckling. Syftet var även att undersöka hur pedagogers och föräldrars engagemang kan bidra.  Metoden som använts i examensarbetet är en kvalitativ undersökning på två förskolor med olika förutsättningar. Därefter har sedan jämförts likheter och skillnader mellan hur barnen tagit till sig av sagans ord och mening. Det har även gjorts enkätundersökningar där föräldrar och pedagoger har fått ge sin syn på hur de upplever att barn påverkas och utvecklas av sagor.

To be educated in global climate issues can be challenging for pupils. This may contribute to anxiety and feelings of helplessness. Global climate change may also be a challenge for educators to convey to young learners, f-3. Educators can experience various problems when it comes to teaching about climate issues. The subject of climate change is a broad and complex area, according to the studied material in our thesis.
