The distance between home and work has increased in recent decades. By the development of infrastructure and public transport, jobs farther from home have become more accessible and this development has in turn increased commuting. Commuting travellers often pass over administrative boundaries which often serve as borders for public transport Pricing. Also the market control prices. Research shows that travel times and costs significantly affect commuting choice.

An increasing global tourism offers great opportunities for Sweden as a tourist destination. However, an attractive destination requires competitive destination marketing strategies. Tourist destinations often include a complex network of stakeholders of small and large en-terprises that represent both the public and private sector. One condition for successful des-tination marketing is that all of these stakeholders collaborate in their marketing to create an integrated and powerful image. Another important aspect in terms of increasing the des-tinations competitiveness is that the local tourist companies are "export-oriented", in order to ensure that international tourists are looked after appropriately.This study has focused on the destination marketing of Stockholm.

Skogen har sedan årtusenden tillbaka nyttjats av människan för sitt leverne. Allteftersom möjligheten att äga egen skog och att skogens ekonomiska betydelse har ökat har värderingen av skog förändrats. Avkastningsberäkning har länge legat till grund för värdering av skog, men idag räcker inte detta för att uppskatta marknadsvärdet på skogsfastigheter. Det är tydligt att det är fler bakomliggande faktorer än den skogliga avkastningen som spelar roll för prisbildningen. Huvudsyftet med denna studie var att öka kunskapen om prisbildningen på skogsfastigheter samt att undersöka och eventuellt utveckla värderingsgrunder.

Farmers Cooperative has in recent years developed from national markets to cross-border, international, collaborations. One example is the merger between the Swedish dairy company Arla and Danish MD Foods, where the companies collectively are sought to reduce transaction costs and thus improve efficiency. The Swedish market for commodities (fertilizers and pesticides) in agriculture has for many years been dominated by a few large players, with little opportunity for grain associations and local grain companies to offer their customers a varied range of commodities with a competitive Pricing.To change this state, a majority of Swedish and Danish grain associations and local grain companies have established a trans-national cooperation. Through the establishment of the organization DLA Agro, they offer their customers a good variety of products with competitive prices. This study investigates thus according to the theory of cooperative models to what extent and how the DLA Agro helps to create benefits for the Swedish member companies.

Denna uppsats undersöker vilka faktorer som påverkar förändringar i elspotpriset på Nord Pool. Avsikten är att resultatet skall ligga till grund för en prisuppskattningsmodell för Lunds Energikoncernen AB. Faktorerna bestämdes genom en förstudie där viktig litteratur om elmarknaden studerades samt samtal med Lunds Energikoncernen AB. De faktorer som undersöks i denna uppsats är priset på utsläppsrätter, nettoexport till Tysk-land, temperatur, nederbörd, priset på kol och villaolja samt konjunkturutveckling i Sve-rige.Undersökningen av faktorerna bestod av en multipel regressionsanalys med undersökta faktorer som oberoende variabler och elspotpriset på Nord Pool som den beroende va-riabeln. Faktorerna blev indelade i två grupper dagsgruppen och månadsgruppen, grunden till uppdelningen är som namnen antyder att statistiken var observerad dygnsvis och må-nadsvis.

The price of farmland has risen sharply in the last 20 years. This has led to discussions about what creates the value of farmland. The aim in this study was to try and find what factors are affecting the price on farmland. The area that is studied is the counties around Mälardalen during the period 2005 to 2009.The method chosen to achieve the objective is the hedonic price model. The variables are chosen after a preliminary study where a literature search has been made and a number of interviews with people in the industry.

Fram till för ungefär tre år sedan hette restaurangen på Scandic Plaza Umeå Viskningar & Rop, något som varit restaurangens namn sedan hotellet byggdes. Denna rapport beskriver en produktutvecklingsprocess som behandlar utvecklandet av ett textilt material som isolerar och skyddar. Det textila materialet ska fungera till ett kylande fodral utan att förstöra dess funktion och behöver därför uppfylla en speciell kravspecifikation. Materialet ska isolera mot kroppsvärme, vara stabilt, skyddande och slitstarkt. Dubbelväv valdes tidigt i arbetet då det är ett enkelt sätt att kunna påverka det textila materialets egenskaper i form av material- och konstruktionsval, i en betydligt större utsträckning än i en enkelsidig väv. För att utveckla ett material med de efterfrågade egenskaperna har tester utförs och den metod som har använts är hypotesprövning.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze how the ongoing controversy surrounding the Internet, the phenomena of digitalization and file sharing will affect the music industry in the form of the ?big five? labels. Furthermore the thesis aims to present a recipe of strategies for the companies? survival by studying their situation through a theoretical perspective in conjunction with a comparative analysis with industries facing the digitalization challenge. The theoretical contribution lies in the strategic perspective at an industry level.

The purpose of this master thesis is to map and analyze the appropriate valuation approaches used for Intellectual Property rights and develope a model for valuing patents. This project has been executed on behalf of Electrolux?s Group Intellectual Property and is intended to be used for managerial purposes.Project limitations include patents that doesent concern technology oriented products and services, real option methods, financial forecasts, decisions concerning patents taken by the R&D division, patent applications in general and taking into account unexpected future management decisions regarding patents.Electrolux?s Intellextual Property team applies, manages and protects the groups Intellectual Property rights including patents, designs and trademarks. With an increased globalization and the rise of emerging markets, incentives have increased further to protect and safeguard the group?s innovations.Mainly there are three different valuations approaches for valuing intellectual property rights, these include the income based approach, cost base approach and market based approach.

The food industry is an important part of the Swedish economy, It is the fourth largest industry in Sweden in terms of number of employees and production value. Due to the increasing globalization, the Swedish food industry faces new conditions and challenges. Through the Swedish membership in the European Union in 1995 a whole new era of competition began for the Swedish agriculture and food industry. Markets that previously were closed now opened. In retrospect, it should be noted that the Swedish food industry managed well.

Förklaringarna till det fenomenet är bl.a. den rådande miljödebatten och konsumenters nya medvetenhet till deras konsumtionsbeteende. Konsumenten har i dag ett behov att ha en individualistisk stil, vilket kan vara en anledning till secondhand-branschens nyvunna trendstatus och snabba expansion. Lågkonjunkturen, som drabbade Sverige 2008, kan även vara en anledning till den expanderande marknaden.
