Syftet med denna pilotstudie var att skapa hypoteser om vilken påverkan en internetbaserad återhämtningsfokuserad stressintervention kan ha på beteendemönster och generellt hälsotillstånd. 22 vuxna svenskar rekryterades initialt till studien. 15 individer valde att fullfölja hela interventionsprogrammet. Mätningar med internetbaserade frågeformulär genomfördes innan interventionens start och efter interventionens slut. De primära ändpunkterna för mätningarna utgjordes av beteendeförändringar (frekvens av återhämtningsbeteenden) och kliniska effekter (upplevelser av stress och återhämtning).

Our population are ageing. As this happens more people will be in need of long term care facilities. We now know that some elderly people with certain background factors are more likely to be injured or sick. One of the four biggest background factors is fall propensity. Most of the reported falls come from long term care facilities, approximately 60 % of the care takers in long term care facilities fall one time or more each year.

Sår och sårvård har existerat lika länge som människan levt. För att kunna utföra sårvård som täcker patientens vårdbehov är sjuksköterskan i nuläget dåligt utrustad. Sjuksköterskan har liten kunskap om prevention, bedömning och behandling av sår. Syftet var att belysa faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans sårvård. En litteraturstudie utfördes enligt Fribergs modell.

The aim of the study is to elucidate and analyze newcomer students´ experiences of the Language Introduction Program, in more detail, how the students describe their time at the program and how experiences could differ between girls and boys. Finally, the study examines how the program, according to the students, can be significant for their future. The analysis of the students´ dictums is based on the perspective of intercultural education. To answer the study´s aim and research questions, the investigation consists of eight semi-structured interviews with students who are studying at the Language Introduction Program at an upper secondary school in Uppsala.The results show that the main advantages with studying at the Language Introduction Program are, according to the students, that they learn the Swedish language and that they meet students with several cultural backgrounds. The main disadvantages that were noted were that the Language Introduction Program takes a long time to finish, and furthermore, the contact with the students at the other programs at the school is not enough.

With an attractive trainee program company?s today hope to attract young devoted people. In the frame of a trainee program, there has been a special focus on a formal mentorship in an effort to develop characteristics with the mentor and protégé. Therefore this study discusses the subject mentorship in trainee programs. Which characteristics are affected with the mentor and protégé during a mentor relationship in a trainee program? The aim of the study is to create an awareness and knowledge of the mentor and the protégés understanding of which characteristics are affected in a mentorship relation after a completed trainee program.

The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of women's violence against men in intimate relationships, get an idea of ??what forms of expression that this type of violence has and to highlight the men's experiences of violence.There is little scientific research in the field in Sweden. Crime Prevention Council has determined that eight percent of all complaints involving domestic violence in 2010, reported by men over 18 years. You can only speculate on how large number of unreported cases is among abused men. The international studies highlight that the abused men feel ashamed of having been subjected to violence by a female partner.I have been based this essay on two theoretical premises, Per Isdal theory of "violence perspective" and Elaine Bergqvist's definition of the suppression technique.The study was conducted through a qualitative content analysis.

This essay is about integration of theoretical subjects and practical subjects at the vocational training education in a Swedish Upper secondary school. The purpose of the essay was to examine if integration of the subjects increases the students` motivation for, interest in and knowledge of the subject Swedish. Other purposes were to examine how the teachers organize their teaching of Swedish in order to adjust it to the students? interests and to examine the students? attitude towards Swedish as a subject.The essay also describes the recent development of the vocational training education of Swedish Upper secondary school and presents theories about learning and other examinations about teaching of theoretical subjects at the vocational training education.The examination carried through with a questionnaire which was distributed to the students at three programs at the school and interviews with the headmaster and two teachers. The result of the study showed that a small majority of the students believe that integration increases their motivation in and knowledge of Swedish.

Syftet med vår undersökning var att ta reda på hur kuratorer i högstadie- och gymnasieskolor arbetar preventivt och hälsofrämjande med ungdomars psykiska hälsa samt hur kuratorers samverkan med andra ser ut. Vi ville också ta reda på vilken problematik som enligt kuratorerna är vanligast samt orsaken till detta. Vi har använt oss av en hermeneutisk utgångspunkt med kvalitativ ansats, baserad på intervjuer med kuratorer. I resultatet har det framkommit att de ungdomar som har kontakt med kuratorn ofta kommer dit genom en lärare, skolsköterska eller av egen vilja. Den problematik som tycks dominera är till exempel trötthet, stress, hemsituation eller kamratrelationer.

Inledning Postoperativt illamående och kräkning är ett välkänt problem efter sövning medgenerell anestesi och drabbar mellan 20 % och 30 % av alla patienter som blir sövda. För attminska de obehag och lidande som illamående och kräkning kan ge den postoperativapatienten vore det optimala att profylaktiskt behandla de patienter som löper en stor risk attdrabbas av postoperativt illamående och kräkning. För att avgöra hur hög risk patienten har attdrabbas av postoperativt illamående och kräkning beskrivs i litteraturen ett flertalriskbedömningsmodeller som sjuksköterskan kan använda sig av. Syfte att granska omanvändandet av en riskbedömningsmodell kan minska frekvensen av postoperativt illamåendeoch kräkning hos patienter som erhållit generell anestesi. Metod Litteraturstudie.

Background: Postoperative infections are a serious patient safety problem and affects about 3 % of all patients undergoing surgery. The consequences are prolonged hospital stays, high social costs, increased use of antibiotics and impaired quality of life for the patient. It has been shown that postoperative infections may be caused by contamination already in the operating room. Today we know that there is growth of microorganisms on the instrument table´s top, but there is a research gap about the instrument table's edges.Aim: To examine if the sterile drape on the instrument table´s edges are sterile after finished surgery.Method: Contact plates are printed on strategically selected areas on the sterile drapes top and edges. In the pilot study, a total of 51 cultures were taken at the end of three operations which lasted over three hours.Results: Growth on the top surface and the edges of the sterile drape were detected.

The questions asked were designed to help answering thepurpose of the study.Main results: This study shows that in general there is a positive view of Internet datingamong both groups. They appreciate the opportunities it provides, as they get to knowthe other persons personality first. Even so, it should be noted that they still tend to be abit ashamed to talk about Internet dating, and some don?t want to be associated with it.The communication pattern tend to be pretty much the same among both groups.

The aim of this study was to describe the mental and social causes to obesity among children and adolescents, their consequences and what preventive interventions that are used. The method used by the authors was to search for scientific articles in the database Medline, using the keywords: obesity, overweight, child, body image, social, family, school, depression, nursing, quality of life, social support, prevention and support. The study was performed as a literature review, with a descriptive design, and the result contained 22 scientific articles. The main result of this study showed that obesity among children and adolescents is not only an individual problem, it affects the whole family. The main causes to obesity among children and adolescents are the socioeconomic status of the family, their lifestyle, and even gender to a certain degree.

Kometprogrammet började utvecklas 2001 och är en svensk variant av nordamerikanska manualbaserade föräldraträningsprogram. Varianten Komet 12-18 år riktar sig till föräldrar med utagerande ungdomar med syftet att bryta negativa beteendemönster genom att ändra föräldrarnas förhållningssätt till sina barn. Grundtankarna är hämtade från inlärningsteori, beteendeanalys, prevention och kognitiv beteendeterapi och bygger på evidensbaserad forskning. Syftet med studien är att bidra till utvecklingen av Komet 12-18 år och tillgodose ungdomsperspektivet med resultat från ungdomsintervjuer och ?enkäter.

Malmö högskola: Hälsa och samhälle, Utbildningsområde omvårdnad 2011. Bakgrund: Trycksår är ett vanligt förekommande sjukdomstillstånd som drabbar framförallt äldre och rörelsehindrade. Trycksår kan medföra fysiska och psykiska komplikationer hos den drabbade.

The report describes a measuring method for analysis of energy consumption measurement in microwave ovens. Concurrently that the awareness of the environment evolves the demands are growing for more power saving products. This is also counting within the Home Appliance business, which is Whirlpools business area. Whirlpool is therefore interested of launching microwave ovens with documented low power consumption. To be able to implement this, both asserted measuring equipment, that fulfils all demands, and a standard procedure is required.
