To reduce emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologieshave been developed. Chemical Looping Combustion (CLC) is a CO2 capture technologywith the CCS framework, and at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg,Sweden, a 100 kW chemical looping combustor has been built.This project aimed to investigate to what degree air can replace helium as the uidizinggas for uid dynamical studies in a CLC cold ow model of the above mentioned 100 kWfacility. Experiments were performed using air and helium separately as uidizing gas andpressure data were obtained, which formed the basis for the comparison. The project alsoaimed to investigate uid dynamics in the uidized bed and study when the risk of sluggingoccuring was greatest. The results were presented in the form of figures and tables dividedinto pressure, concentration and standard deviation of the pressure.The results obtained showed that air as uidizing gas did not create the same uid dynamicsas helium over the entire fuel reactor.

Prevention är en viktig men otillräckligt utvecklad del av sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsarbete vad gäller kvinnor i riskzonen för att utveckla osteoporos. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är därför att belysa vilka faktorer som är av betydelse i det preventiva arbetet gällande osteoporos hos kvinnor i postmenopaus. Metoden är en litteraturstudie, som genomfördes med inspiration av Goodmans modell. Till studien användes 11 vetenskapliga artiklar som granskades enligt protokoll ur Willman och Stoltz (2002). Resultatet indelades i fem teman; Kostens betydelse, Solljus som källa till vitamin D, Fysisk aktivitet, Rökningens inverkan på benmassan samt sjuksköterskans preventiva patientundervisning.

Beroendet av internet har ökat markant över de senaste tjugo åren, detta har medförtatt tjänster som tidigare tillhandahölls lokalt i fysisk form har sakta fasats ut. Samhälletsförtroende för internet och dess struktur medför vissa svagheter, som öppnar upp förattacker vilka kan överbelasta plattformar och göra företagets tjänster otillgängliga.Syftet med arbetet är att identifiera DDoS-attacker från pcap-filer och undersöka hurDRDoS-attacker skalar. Arbetet tar även upp frågeställningar om likheter och skillnadermellan attackerna som används samt huruvida de skiljer sig från legitim trafik och hurdetta kan vara ett problem när skydd eller liknande implementeras.För att besvara frågeställningarna har vi valt att göra tre experiment samt analys. De treexperiment görs i en fysisk labbmiljö där attackerna kan ske på ett kontrollerat miljö,där pcap-filer kan samlas in för analys.I arbetet påvisades att en reflektionsattack som utnyttjade DNS kunde uppnå enskalning med en faktor på 80 gånger. This study aims to investigate how federations manage to balance the economies of scale through collaboration and autonomy. This is done through a case study on Länsförsäkringar. The lack of modern research on federations makes the federative structure an interesting field of study. Previous research has shown a general perception that an increased pressure on efficiency and economies of scale creates a stronger common unit that eventually creates an imbalance in the federation. It is therefore interesting to look at the balance, which exists between the member units and the common unit of a federation.

The purpose of this Master thesis is to examine whether the term elasticity is relevant and functional to apply to public library organisations. Another aim of the thesis is to relate the term elasticity to public library organisations in a network society. Sociologist Manuel Castells provide the theoretical framework on the network society. Three investigations (meant to complement each other) in two Swedish public libraries seek to give answers to these questions.To be able to examine which areas of public library activity are elastic, I make a rough definition of what public library organisations consist of ? nine activity fields are identified using IFLA?s guidelines in combination with Swedish law of public libraries.

Migrän är en återkommande, anfallsvis huvudvärk som räknas till en av de 20 mest handikappande sjukdomarna i världen. Det är sjuksköterskans ansvar att främja hälsan hos patienter med migrän genom att upplysa om sjukdomen och informera om vilka icke-farmakologiska metoder som kan verka mot migrän. Syftet med studien var att beskriva icke-farmakologiska metoder vid migränanfall hos vuxna. Litteraturstudiens resultat baserades på 13 vetenskapliga artiklar som genererade tre olika teman: akupunktur, kunskap kring utlösande faktorer samt livsstilsförändringar. Resultatet visade att akupunktur, kunskap och utbildning kring utlösande faktorer samt livsstilsförändringar är bra behandlingsalternativ i det hälsofrämjande arbetet vid migrän, då metoderna visade på signifikant minskning av migränanfall.

Syfte: Var att beskriva vilka faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans tillämpning av evidensbaserad kunskap om trycksår i omvårdnaden.Metod: Litteraturstudie med deskriptiv design, utfördes utifrån två kvalitativa, sju kvantitativa samt en vetenskaplig artikel med en kombination av ansatser. Vetenskapliga artiklar publicerade mellan åren 2002 till 2012 söktes i databasen Cinahl.Resultat: Sjuksköterskans tillämpning av evidensbaserad kunskap i omvårdanden av trycksår, påverkades av attityder, kunskapsnivå samt den organisatoriska struktur som råder på arbetsplatsen. Sjuksköterskan som medverkat i special utformad utbildning eller som arbetar aktivt med kvalitetsförbättringsarbete har uppvisat en förbättrad kunskapsnivå. Vilket tillsammans med en positiv attityd medför en god förutsättning till en förbättrad följsamhet, gällande tillämpning av evidensbaserad kunskap i omvårdnaden av trycksår. Dock förekommer bristfällig, inadekvat såväl som föråldrad kunskap hos en mindre population sjuksköterskor.

Hjärt- och kärlsjukdom är den främsta dödsorsaken i Sverige. Majoriteten av dem kan förebyggas med hjälp av en livsstilsförändring, men för att göra det krävs motivation. En evidensbaserad metod som används för att främja motivation och livsstilsförändringar är motiverande samtal (MI). Syftet med litteraturstudien var att utforska vilka effekter MI kunde ha i sjuksköterskans prevention av hjärt- och kärlsjukdom. Resultatet visade att MI hade en varierande, men genomgående positiv effekt i att förbättra de levnadsvanor som är kopplade till hjärt- och kärlsjukdom.

According to the national curriculum in Swedish schools, teachers have the responsibility to prevent and discourage psychological and physical harassment (Lgr 2011). This study focuses on 7 teachers with their viewpoint and understanding of bullying as a human based social problem. The teachers, as the informants, give their personal explanation on how they act, prevent and discourage bullying in their school. The research places the emphasis, based on, interviews from which teachers are telling, relating and explaining on how they say that they are preventing and discouraging bullying.The conclusion from this study is that the interviewed teachers do, from their viewpoint, understand bullying as psychological and physical harassment problem which is based on a question of interpretation in regards to the victim. The informants do place different emphasis on what causes the problem, if it is a question of the individual or of it is a problem based on the socialization between individuals.

The primary function of a mixer is to keep a fluid in constant motion. All mixing applicationsrequire varying degrees of small-scale turbulence and bulk flow. The performance of asubmersible mixer is measured by the thrust that it produces, while the strength of the bulkflow is dependent on the total amount of installed thrust.In a mixer, the fluid quickly flows past the propeller, and as a result, the current is mainlyaxial. The fluid will also obtain a rotating velocity, or a swirl, though this is significantly lessthan that of the propeller. During the process, the total amount of energy increases in the formof static pressure and kinetic energy.

Syftet med litteraturstudien är att undersöka sjuksköterskors attityder, kunskaper och kunskapsinhämtning, hur ny kunskap implementeras samt i vilken utsträckning EPUAP:s rekommendationer för prevention följs. Metoden som används är databassökning. Tio artiklar har granskats och ligger till grund för resultaten som besvarar frågeställningarna.
