The purpose of my essay has been to illustrate any possible differences between pre-school teachers? and parents' views on the mission of the pre-school put in relation to the pre-school curriculum. In my study I have taken a starting point in the following questions:How do pre-school teachers understand the mission of the pre-school?Do pre-school teachers recognize the term baby-sitting from their profession?How do pre-school teachers perceive the parents' view on the mission of the pre-school?How concerned are the parents according to the pre-school teachers about the pedagogical activities of the pre-school?What do the pre-school teachers do to inform the parents about the pre-school curriculum and how aware do they think that the parents are of the curriculum?What are the plans of the pre-schools to fulfill the new part of the revised curriculum that comes into effect July 1 2011?I chose to utilize the qualitative method with the hermeneutics as a theoretical framework in my study and through interviews study my questions. The interviews were made with four pre-school teachers from different pre-schools in the south of Stockholm.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur en gruppverksamhet vars mål är att ge psykosocialt stöd och fysisk aktivitet till män diagnostiserade med prostatacancer bör utformas och presenteras för att tilltala målgruppen.Metod: Studien hade en kvalitativ, deskriptiv ansats och baserades på fem individuella intervjuer och en fokusgruppsintervju . Samtliga intervjuer var semistrukturerade och spelades in.Huvudresultat: Innehållsanalyser av intervjuerna resulterade i följande tre kategorier; ?Presentation av gruppverksamhet?, ?Attityder? och ?Innehåll i gruppverksamhet?. Varje kategori hade även ett antal subkategorier. Tillsammans åskådliggjorde kategorierna vad män med prostatacancer ansåg att en rehabiliteringsgrupp som Rehabilitering med samtal och yoga [RSYG] ska innehålla samt hur den kan presenteras.

The purpose of this essay is to study causes for the lack of political trust in Europe and especially in Sweden. The essay starts with a Presentation of two theories about the reasons for low political trust. Robert D. Putnam among others presents a theory that gives social capital an important role when viewing the low political trust. As Putnam sees it a person that participates in any kind of organization, political or not, develop trust for other human beings that in the long run affects political trust.

In a Swedish classroom today there will be students with different ethnicities, world views and religious beliefs.  The students will be taught religion through a non-denominational education, where as a teacher you are meant to be objective, open-minded and fair in the rePresentation of different traditions. This rePresentation is colored by the outsider-perspective and the students then learn about religion from a party which is not involved in the religion being taught. This essay discusses how to balance the outsider-perspective in religious education in the Swedish school with insider-voices. More specific, the use of Muslim websites when teaching about Islam.The material this essay studies are three Muslim websites: al-islam.se, islaminfo.se and islamguiden.se. In order to make a didactic analysis of the websites, they are compared to a standard Swedish textbook.

This project will search for the sound in the contemporary landscape architecture, an attempt to combine music and land­scaping. In a first stage, I have searched for outdoor environments where loudspeakers are used, and sites with a concious sound design. The project will result in a sound design created for the park Frodeparken in Uppsala, Sweden. In my search for sites and examples of conscious sound, I have talked to the people behind the projects I found - landscape architects, sound artists and architects. Influences from different areas have been essential for me in the project.

AimThe aim of this study has been to examine how health enhancement teachers in Montana, USA, view the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.In what way does the health enhancement teacher think the importance of physical activity from a lifelong perspective could be presented?What resources are available for teachers to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective?MethodThe issue has been answered through qualitative interviews consisting of six health enhancement teachers, four women and two men, in Montana, USA. One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years).  ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. In addition to the budget, all the teachers had 12 hours of professional development every year where they could attend conferences or their own choice of professional development.ConclusionWith the help in forms of professional development offered by the school, conferences, meeting with other teachers, and their own choice of development, the teachers instruction techniques could increase which could help the teachers to find the pupils? interest for different kinds of physical activities.KeywordsPhysical education and health, physical activity, SOC, sense of coherence..

AbstractThe beginning of the 20th century gave birth to quantum physics. Within years it revolutionized material science and converted the theoretical foundations of modern chemistry, and to some extent even biology, to physics? new branch, molecular physics. Merger of relativistic and quantum physics soon led to the development of quantum field theory and a deeper understanding of the elementary constituents of matter. Part of this development found its way into high school textbooks as early as in the 1950s.

This report is about a thesis that is performed in and for SYSteam Engineering AB in Motala. The thesis work is divided into three parts, study of the market, programming and electronics. The study part consists of examining and comparing different data acquisition systems for testing of different circuit boards, taking into account the modularity, real-time applications, mobility, environmental, interface hardware and software, to be able to define a general module-based data acquisition system in both hardware and software that enables for future developments.The programming part consists of getting started with Visual Studio, which integrates the Measurement Studio for C#. NET. Measurement Studio includes classes and user controls for testing and measuring and offers tools for acquisition, analysis and Presentation of real world data.

This thesis presents a study aiming to identify the selection criteria for the digitization of posters at the National Library of Sweden (Kungl. biblioteket). The theory is that cultural heritage institutions are empowered to decide how our cultural heritage is presented as they select what items (or, as in this study, posters) will be digitized. The poster is studied as it is an interesting media form which historically was an important means of communication. The poster can represent and reflect historical events and opinions in society.

The purpose of this study is to examine the teachings of rhetoric?s in schools, more specifically within the Swedish subject; furthermore it examines how Swedish teachers work with rhetoric in the Swedish subject on a practical basis. The study also highlights teachers' approaches to the curriculum for high school. The method I have used to conduct this study, have been to use interviews and inductive ethnography. The teachers whom have been interviewed in my study have similar understandings of what oral Presentations actually are, but their idea of what the term rhetoric stands for however differs. Teachers have received similar training in rhetoric; however, they have different experiences within it.
