Today, the requirements on doors and door sections in buildings are often many andtightly restricted. Especially in public buildings, the requirements for safety andfunctionality must cover the needs of larger groups of people. These strictrequirements have often led to doors and door sections in public buildings being verycomplex and difficult to correctly install without any complications.This diploma work has been carried out in cooperation with Werket Architects,which estimates a high percentage of flaws regarding aforementioned components, inprojects of the type described. The company therefore wanted to investigate howthey could develop their remit in door production, which is the projection and designof blueprints. By taking part of installers opinions on how they want the blueprints ofdoors and door - sections to be designed for the best installation possibilities,develop¬ment areas, and to some extent improvements regarding the company's useof accounting techniques, could be provided to the company.The study shows, among other things, that there is a possibility of development in thefunctional descriptions that entail the doors' fitting components.

This thesis is an addition to pictures and animation that has been developed using CATIA V5. The animation and the images are a market basis to test whether the product is of interest in the Nordic market. The thesis is structured with elements of the Fredy Olsson method. In this thesis there is also a short presentation of the company Tylö AB, which been chosen to market test the product. A product definition with the sub-headings; ?Description and use of product?, ?Environmentand users?, ?Economy? and ?Product inquiry?, are the basis for the product.

The aim of this study is to compare the modernist novels Astarte (1931) by the Swedish writer Karin Boye with Estación, Ida y vuelta (1930) by the Spanish author Rosa Chacel and the reception of these literary works in contemporary academic research. The theoretical ground of the study consists of feminist and critical theory, with traits of discourse analysis.Astarte and Estación were in large part forgotten and ignored by the Western Canon of literature during most of the 20th century, but have lately gained more attention as important modernist novels by researchers (from the feminist, poststructuralist or hermeneutic theoretical fields) who primarily examine the experimental forms figured by the texts in relation to the deconstruction and shattering of human homogenous ?essence?.The results found in the study show that the literary forms of both novels can be associated with a kind of illusion rapture, which relate to the modernist inclination to what Frederic Jameson calls artificial narrative; a form technique that points back at itself to emphasize its own characteristic of being a constructed and subjective illustration of reality. The contemporary interest in these artificial literary forms expressed by Astarte and Estación is therefore probably a consequence of the vibrant academic debates carried out during later decades concerning the conception of human gender and identity as construction and performance. .

The aim of this study was to investigate how four families in the Stockholm area reason, what kind of preconception they have and what their horizon of expectations is when they make the choice between sending their children to the profile class of municipal/free schools and sending them to the general classes in those schools. The main research questions asked were:What kind of preconception do the parents have about profile classes?What reasons do the interviewed parents have to send their children to a profile class?What are the interviewed parent?s expectations of the profile class choice?The study is built on qualitative interviews with the parents of the families. The empirical data has been analyzed using a framework of theories drawing on the theory of reproduction, the forms of social capital, the ideas created from the word profile and elite and the horizon of expectations. The results show that the parents of the families have a similar degree of preconception about profile classes.

Projektet har syftat till att formge en ny och modern handtagsserie för Orthex Group med anledning av att dagens handtagsserie har blivit utdaterad.Inom Orthex Group ingår varumärket Gastromax och det är även där handtaget ska ingå. Som handtagsserie i Gastromax riktar den sig till dessa användare. Gastromax vänder sig främst till konsumenter som är intresserade av matlagning och som väljer redskap med omsorg.I den första delen av projektet har de tre faserna ur projektmetodik genomförts; utredning, planering och genomförande.I den andra delen genomfördes projektmetodikens tre faser; analys, kreativ fas och presentation.Efter att olika typer av handtag studerats i användarstudier, marknadsanalyser, funktionsanalyser och greppanalyser, skissades de första förslagen fram.Dessa förslag tillverkades och testades i användartest 1. Efteranvändartestet analyserades resultatet och nya förfinandetestmodeller tillverkades inför användartest 2. Resultaten från användartest 2 analyserades och ledde fram till slutresultatet; dvs.

Jag fick i uppdrag av WSP Samhällsbyggnad i Karlstad, att presentera data med hjälp av programmet ArcGIS. Data som skulle uppvisas var: trafikmängden, polisrapporterade olyckor, gång- och cykelvägar, trafiksignaler, trafikplatser, skyltad hastighet, skolor och fritidsaktiviteter längs E18 i Karlskoga. Vidare skulle föreslagna åtgärder i utredningen presenteras med GIS. Arbetet inkluderar fältstudier i Karlskoga för att ta foto och videoklipp på de berörda korsningarna, som sedan skulle länkas till kartan. Uppgifterna skulle sedan framföras i en karta, i en skärmpresentation av avdelningschefen Bo Lindelöf.Arbetet tar upp problem och möjligheter med användning av GIS i presentationsskedet.Karlskoga kommun och Vägverket föreslår åtgärder i Karlskoga tätort, en ombyggnad av E18:s korsningar med Viaduktgatan, Boåsvägen och Hyttåsvägen.

Problemformulering och syfte: Utifrån de oenigheter som råder kring effekten av valkampanjer anser vi att det är intressant att undersöka Moderaternas arbete med den visuella identiteten. Syftet med denna studie är därför att undersöka hur Moderaterna arbetar med sin visuella identitet för att återspegla förändringarna i partiet.Metod och material: Detta är en fallstudie som grundas på kvalitativa textanalyser och intervjuer.Huvudresultat: Studien visar på betydelsen av en stark visuell identitet, för att organisationen ska kunna nå ut med sitt budskap ? för att en organisation ska kunna nå framgång krävs både ett bra budskap och en god presentation av detta. Moderaterna försöker av denna anledning att hela tiden förändras och återspegla politikens innehåll i sin visuella identitet. Studien visar också på att det är viktigt att kommunicera rätt för att kunna genomföra lyckade förändringar samt att det ingår många strategiska val inom politisk kommunikation då målgruppen är bred..

The social community is structured around data, a lot of that data is stored in different types of databases. The meaning of this essay is to develop an interactive tool that will change the way database visualization is done, and also to research in which fields a tool of this type can be used. With the help of different methods we discovered areas where it could be of use, such as; presentation of a database, development and documentation of a database. The primary goal of the prototype was to make viewing of database structures easier, even people without prior database knowledge should be able to understand the structure. During the development we used prototypes.

AbstractHåkan Ljung: Förklassik för knäppinstrument. En studie kring en sonat för cittra av Johan Wikmanson. Uppsala universitet: Institutionen för musikvetenskap, C-uppsats för 60 poäng, ht 2005.My main purpose with this thesis is to highlight a piece of music written for a relative of the 18th century cittern. This sonata, composed around 1780, is a well thought composition written in a pre-classical style.  The composer of this music is Johan Wikmanson (1753-1800) who is mostly known for his string quartets, songs and piano pieces. Because of the importance for the music as a whole, one task is to reconstruct the second movement from severe errors. This was carried out by doing an overall analysis of the two movements themes, motives and structures.Since many arrangements for plucked instruments occurred by other composer's works, my second aim is try to tie this Sonate as an original version written by Wikmanson himself. As a part of my main purpose, the reader will also receive a short presentation of the Swedish cittern designed by the Royal instrument maker Johan Öberg the elder (1727?-1779) with a description of its connection with the manuscript. .

Vibrationsrelaterade problem tenderar att bli mer och mer uppmärksammade, inte bara inom byggindustrin där många handverktyg används, utan även inom transportväsendet. En fordonsförare som under större delen av sin arbetsdag kör på ibland väldigt ojämna vägar, utsätts för skadliga nivåer som man inte alltid tänker på. Detta examensarbete kommer att behandla utvecklingsprocessen för ett system som kan överföra data från en vibrationsmätare till en mobiltelefon för analys och presentation av mätvärden. Genom att använda sig av detta system kan fordonsföraren lättare hålla koll på vad han utsätter sig för under en arbetsdag. Detta torde leda till en lägre vibrationsexponering bland annat genom en försiktigare körning, något som i slutändan kommer att gynna även eventuella passagerare.

SammanfattningAllt eftersom kraven ökat på mer avancerade applikationer över Internet har det förekommit kritik mot att HTML inte räcker till, vilket är en av anledningarna till att ett nytt märkningsspråk som heter XML växt fram. I det här arbetet redogör vi för, alltifrån grunderna i XML till mer avancerade delar som DTD, XML-schema och XSLT.XML kombinerar HTML:s enkelhet med SGML:s möjligheter. En av XML:s främsta styrkor är att det kan användas för att lagra all typ av data, utan att man behöver ta någon hänsyn till hur den senare ska presenteras. Innehåll och presentation är helt separerade. En annan viktig egenskap är att XML-dokument lagras som vanliga textfiler, vilket innebär att XML är system- och plattformsoberoende.I denna uppsats utgår vi från två mål, dels att tillämpa XML för att skapa ett lämpligt lagringsformat för konfigurationsdata till en nätverksemulator, och dels att redogöra för XML.

Jag har under mitt kandidatarbete gjort en praktisk studie av producentrollen på det Karlshamnsbaserade spelföretaget Black Drop Studios. I denna slutreflektion går jag igenom min egen process under utvecklingen av en spelprototyp av företagets primära produkt, plattforms-racing spelet Boingo. Under produktionen har jag som producent verkat för att effektivisera verksamheten och agerat som en resurs för teamet. Jag har haft dagliga möten och individuella samtal med medlemmarna i gruppen, samt kontinuerligt övervakat och utvärderat arbetsflödet genom det web-baserade projektledningsverktyget Redmine. Utöver min roll som producent har jag även arbetat med marknadsföring och presentation av den färdiga produkten på Game Developers Conference i San Francisco.

This examination work is about implementation of Cisco Systems Network Admission Control (NAC) within a leading IT-company in region of Jönköping. NAC is a technique that is used for securing the internal network from the inside. NAC can verify that the client who connects to the network has the latest antivirus updates and latest operative system hotfixes. Clients who don?t meet the criteria can be placed in quarantine VLAN where they only have access to the update servers.

Water is an essential factor for both people and animals, and access to water is therefore of great importance. The water access also largely determines the availability of food for people and feed for animals. The aim of this study was to survey the affect of water access on milk production from dairy animals. The study included nineteen farm visits that were made in the Nyando district in Kenya between February and Mars 2011. Farm visits included interviews with questions about for example number of dairy animals, milk production, water access, feed and water routines.
