Goods that children come in contact with on a daily basis for example toys, electronics, textiles, household items, have attracted an increased attention in recent years because of a common occurrence of residues of potentially hazardous chemical substances. Some municipalities in Stockholm have developed plans for managing chemical risks and work systematically to phase out products containing hazardous substances. This thesis aims to contribute to an improved knowledge base for any future work with non-toxic nursery schools in Haninge. The study's focus is on the challenges encountered by conditions and problems of preschool personnel to manage chemical risks in early childhood environments. Primary data was collected through a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews with both the preschool staff and practitioners working in the central organization of the municipality.

The purpose of the study is to investigate into professional knowledge of the bilingual teachers, compared to monolingual, and what benefits they give to pre-school. Qualitative method was used to get an understanding of informant´s perspective on bilingual teachers. The informants believe that bilingual teachers are able to understand all the children. A bilingual teacher can make the children feel secure. If one has a positive attitude toward bilingualism, the bilingual children also show a positive attitude that in turn contributes to learning and development of the language..

Rummen i förskolan skapar en vandring uppför sluttningen både ovanpå och inuti byggnaden där varje åldersgrupp har sin egen del med direkt förankring ut i naturen. Förskolan är barnens värld. Den skall utmana, stimulera och ge utrymme för barnens egen fantasi. Ett diagonalt linjespel, hur byggnaden ligger i landskapet, flödet genom byggnaden och de subtila sinnesintrycken har varit viktiga aspekter. Vi tror att rummen vi föreslår kommer uppmuntra till rörelse, nyfikenhet och kreativitet på förskolan. .

Different abilities are of importance to pragmatics, there among hearing. Hearing impairment can affect language development and also pragmatic ability. The aim of the present paper was to study the pragmatic ability in terms of request for clarification in children with Hearing Impairment (HI) in conversation with children with no known hearing impairment, henceforth normally hearing (NH). The present study also describes requests for clarification sequentially in detail, and also highlights points where there may be observable differences between children with and without hearing impairment. Eight conversational pairs consisting of one child with HI and one NH child were studied.

The purpose with this study was to examine what kind of knowledge children in preschool have regarding what plants are, and what plants need in order to grow and survive. By means of qualitative interviews I have let 12 children in the ages of 3 to 5 years answer questions regarding the subject.From the results it is obvious that the children in the early age groups already have some knowledge of what a plant is and can also mention a few basic factors for a plants survival. In addition, the results show that their knowledge increases with the childs age and that the conversations become more distinct with more resulting questions the older the children are.Keywords. AimThe aim of this study was to, through a systematic literature review of evidence based electromyographic (EMG) studies, identify specific exercises for rehabilitation of the Serratus Anterior muscle. The research questions were: ?Which exercises can be recommended to use to activate the Serratus Anterior?? and ?Are the recommended exercises altered between studies on individuals with and without shoulder dysfunction??. MethodThe method was a systematic literature review. First the study aim and research questions were formulated. A research protocol was then formulated with inclusion and exclusion criteria and search terms.

Bakgrund: Den intensivvårdskrävande patienten är många gånger i behov av transport utanför intensivvårdsavdelningen för diagnostiserande undersökning eller behandling. Transporten är riskfylld då patienten kräver komplicerad utrustning och avancerad medicinsk behandling. Studier visar att patientsäkerheten ökar om policydokument används vid transportprocessen.Syfte: Studiens syfte var att kartlägga antalet policydokument som reglerar intrahospital transport i Stockholms län och jämföra dem med en guideline.Metod: Urvalet bestod av policydokument från 11 intensivvårdsavdelningar i Stockholms län. Metoden utgjordes av deskriptiv dokumentinnehållsanalys.Resultat: Sex av elva intensivvårdsavdelningar i Stockholms län hade policydokument som reglerar intrahospital transport. Policydokumenten hade fem gemensamma huvudämnen: Riskbedömning, bemanning, förberedelse, övervakning och utrustning vilka överensstämde med dem i guidelinen.

Inledning: Syftet med denna studie är att, utifrån ett insamlat material vid S:t Lukas mottagningar i Stockholmsområdet, undersöka symptomförändring från start till avslutning i psykodynamiskt inriktade psykoterapier.Frågeställningar: Den övergripande frågeställningen är om patienter och terapeuter bedömer att terapierna haft någon effekt och i så fall vilken. Vidare om bakgrundsfaktorer och självbild påverkat symptombelastningen.Metod: Studien har genomförts med hjälp av självskattningsformulär som fyllts i före och efter behandling. Patienterna har fyllt i Symptom Checklist (SCL-90) och terapeuterna ett frågeformulär där de skattat patienternas besvär. Efter inomgruppsjämförelser har jämförelser gjorts med ett normerings-material.Resultat: Det sker en signifikant symptomlindring under terapierna. Störst är förändringen när det gäller depression, ångest och interpersonell sensitivitet samt i det sammantagna genomsnittsvärdet.

In today's society we are used to regularly visit the sport arena to cheer for our favorite team, we go to the cinema to enjoy a good movie or maybe to the theatre to experience a grand performance. It has become far more common in the last years to buy tickets to these kinds of events online. To make sure that the customer will keep on buying their tickets from the online booking companies the booking experience itself has to be hassle-free and easy to understand. The customer will most likely, if possible, avoid the website if the booking itself is experienced as having problems and insecurities.  The purpose of this study is to determine some of the most fundamental designs and functions of online booking websites today as perceived by the general public.

Tidigare forskning kring utomhuspedagogik studerar i stor utsträckning fördelar och nackdelar. I denna studie lyfts frågor om hur förskollärare nyttjar tiden och miljön i utomhusvistelsen. Studien jämför hur mycket tid det läggs på planerade pedagogiska aktiviteter utomhus jämfört med hur mycket total utomhusvistelse förskolorna har. Vår upplevelse är att nästan all tid man vistas utomhus är förlagd till fri lek och orsakerna till detta är något vi undersöker i denna studie. Fyra förskolor medverkar i studien och enskilda intervjuer har gjorts med åtta utbildade förskollärare.Studien visar att miljön har betydelse för hur mycket lärandetid det är som läggs utomhus.

Test is an area in system development. Test can be performed manually or automated. Test activities can be supported by Word documents and Excel sheets for documenting and executing test cases and as well for follow up, but there are also new test tools designed to support and facilitate the testing process and the activities of the test. This study has described manual test and identified strengths and weaknesses of manual testing with a testing tool called Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) and of manual testing using test cases and test log templates developed by the testers at Sogeti. The result that emerged from the problem and strength analysis and the analysis of literature studies and firsthand experiences (in terms of creating, documenting and executing test cases) addresses the issue of the following weaknesses and strengths.

WHO:s checklista har signifikant minskat komplikationer och dödsfall och har ökat patientsäkerheten hos kirurgiska patienter genom att vara ett standardiserat redskap vid kommunikation och samarbete i operationsteamet. Vid 2011 slut använde de flesta Svenska sjukhus WHO:s checklista, men det finns endast ett fåtal studier från Sverige efter införandet. Syftet med denna pilotstudie var att undersöka operationsteamets erfarenheter att arbeta med WHO:s checklista för säker kirurgi. En fokusgruppintervju gjordes med ett operationsteam. Analys av data skedde genom kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys.
