Modulbyggd förskola - Framtiden?
In 1999 the childbearing increased, which in combination with the closure of a number ofpreschools led to the shortage and reduced capacity in available places for youngchildren. The lack of places in preschools has led us to try to find a solution to theproblem and in order to solve the problem we have interviewed personnel of preschoolsin Halmstad. The persons we met were asked to list advantages and disadvantages oftheir preschool and also to come up with innovative solutions and new ideas of how todevelop a satisfactory preschool. This was the basis for us when we drew our drawingsand our main objective was to find a new template for the development of pre-fabricatedpreschools.When drawing a new and modern preschool a number of considerations have to be made,first of all the main objective for the children is play and playtime, a second objective issound reduction and laws about sound reduction. Another consideration is how toconstruct the building and which method to be used, for instance should industrialtechniques be considered and pros and cons be listed.The main disappointment amongst the preschool personnel was that they had noinfluence in the planning stage of the new development of the preschool.

This master thesis was made to describe how sales organisations are constructed in Sweden within an industry with almost every sales situation as a new task selling, and where almost every selling is over one million Skr. One of these industries is the homebuilding industry with companies that manufacturers Prefabricated houses and semi-fixed manufactured homes in Sweden. The pre-studies where made by using the Internet, intervjues and theory studies to construct a conceptual framework. The sales organisation was conceptualized to be able to measure: salesman, sales leader, improved skills, communication, reported information, compensation and company targets. This conceptualisation and operationalisation lead to a survey that captured organisations within the homebuilding industry in Sweden.

The Swedish building contractor JMRegion Öst would like to to investigatethe possibilities of developing andstreamlining the production of singlefamilyhouses. JM are producing singlefamilyhouses with Prefabricated framesat a rate of about two houses per week.During construction, the different tasksare performed by JM?s own productionstaff but also by varioussubcontractors.When examining the schedules of recentlyproduced projects, it appears that allthe houses are more or less completedeight weeks before the customer moves into the house. During those eight weeksseveral operations are conducted such asinspections, installation of appliancesand cleaning procedures. The inspectionperiod constitutes between 25 and 35% ofthe complete construction period.By conducting interviews, it has beendiscovered that this final phase is anessential security buffer for delays anderrors that often occur.

The industrialized timber housing process is capable nowadays to build multi-storeyhouses since fairly new changes in the Swedish regulations where made after theadmission of the European Union in 1994.The industrialized process moves parts of the construction process into a highlyeffective factory where 3D-volumes of the building are Prefabricated beforetransportation to the building site for assemble.The assembly process is relatively effective compared to the completion of thebuilding service system and this is therefore the main focus in this thesis. This thesisattends problems with completion of the building service system, and thereforedemarcates from other aspects, such as technical and economic aspects, of thebuilding service system.The degree of completion of the flats differs from completion of the connectivepassages, for example hallways, in a way that suggests a need for further investigation.This thesis includes analysis of the possibilities to increase the Prefabricatedconnective passages, to the extent of containing building service systems.An increase of the prefabrication of the building service system has a greatdevelopment potential, even though some restraining factors need to be solvedbefore implementation.This thesis was made in collaboration with two of Sweden?s leading companies on themarket of multi-storey industrialized timber housing, Moelven ByggModul AB andLindbäcks Bygg AB..
Den mobila prefabriceringsfabriken : Ett nytt produktionskoncept
This is an investigation of a mobile prefabrication factory´s competitiveness and profitability which also will result in a suggestion for a design of the factory. The mobile prefabrication factory is an idea of a new concept for production which is meant to be used in the manufacture of slab. The main intention with this concept is that by using a fast established prefabrication factory to produce elements near the construction site, thus avoiding transport from the factory to the building site. This means not only an environmental and economic gain, but also that you can avoid risking damage the elements which often occur during transportation. The contractor is owner of the mobile prefabrication factory and can thus avoid long waiting times and cyclicality.
Industriellt köpbeteende: en fallstudie inom branschen för prefabricerade trähus i Sverige
Uppsatsens syfte var att studera industriellt köpbeteende för branschen för prefabricerade trähus. En teoretisk studie har därför genomförts där köpsituationer och dess påverkan på köpprocessen, köpbeslutsgruppen samt kriterier för val av leverantör studerats. Datainsamling har skett genom telefonintervjuer med tre av Sveriges fyra största byggföretag, intervjuerna har genomförts med personer med god kunskap när det gäller inköp av prefabricerade trähus på dessa företag. Resultatet av vår uppsats visar att den den vanligaste köpsituationen för företag som köper prefabricerade trähus är nya köp men att det även förekommer direkta återköp främst genom avrop på ramavtal. De personer som ingår i köpbeslutsgruppen är initiativtagare, användare, köpare, influerare, beslutsfattare och informationsbevakare, vilket överensstämmer med teorin.

For many years, there has been a housing shortage in Sweden. Many have been expecting a construction boom in the housing sector, but that has yet to arrive. With the current legislations and guidelines surrounding modern, energy efficient housing; production costs have increased dramatically in recent years. As a result, having a negative effect on housing production despite the high demand for homes.This exam work is carried out on a construction project of Sjötorpshus AB and its purpose is to evaluate how to optimise the construction process for the production of a new residential settlement, "Kv.Hunden", located in Katrineholm. In an interview with the company's MD, Pär Knutsson, four main issues were defined to focus on.

As a company it is required to work with strategies to minimize costs such as packaging and logistic costs. The increased market of industrial produced wooden buildings results that the time and the cost which the packaging of Prefabricated building elements consume, is experienced to be in greater need of development than before and demands a better solution. The aim with this dissertation was to discover how the development of the handling of the packaging can improve the packaging process. The goal was to present improvement proposals for a simplified and thereby a more efficient production in time and cost perspective.The packaging process which includes packaging, handling, storage and transport were studied. Interviews were made with participants from the market for manufacturers of wooden houses and a case study was made at the company A-hus.

This project has been created with the assistance of Fredells. Fredells is a Stockholm based company with a focus on the retail of building products. Fredells also produces prefab- or Prefabricated products which are either completely or partially ready for assembly the moment they arrive to the building site. These prefab-products are primarily delivered to customers within the Stockholm region. The building industry is a conservative market where the incentive to changes has been relatively low compared to other industries.
Katastrofsjukhus : En ny robust typ av fältsjukhus
Denna rapport beskriver framtagandet av Katastrofsjukhus, robustare fältsjukhus med förbättrad standard. Jämförelse görs mellan det framtagna Katastrofsjukhuset och uppblåsbara tältsjukhus samt standarden i svenska sjukhus. En färdig produkt finns ännu inte framtagen och rapporten lämnar en hel del lösa trådar, men är en bra grund för mer omfattande utveckling av konceptet och som en idéstudie till en vetenskaplig avhandling eller annan fortsatt forskning.Problemet med befintliga fältsjukhus är främst miljön i operationsavdelningen. Detta är något det lagts stor vikt vid och en strävan att uppnå svensk standard har genomsyrat hela processen. En annan viktig punkt vid framtagandet av Katastrofsjukhus har varit konstruktionens vikt, vilket är tältsjukhusens största fördel.

This thesis concerns waste management on construction sites and was conducted on behalf of ICA Fastigheter.Areas of concern:How can an environmentally-efficient waste management system on construction sites be defined? What potential exists for exploiting the waste resources that are generated?How can the waste management be optimised by reducing the quantity of waste and by optimal sorting?How can the client of a project influence the waste management?The purpose of the work was to investigate sustainable waste management in the building and construction sector and to highlight waste as a resource from an environmental and economic perspective.The aim of the work was to define an environmentally-efficient waste management system, to analyse the potential that exists in waste management and to draw up guidelines for optimal waste management.The method consisted of a literature study, two visits to construction sites and four interviews.An environmentally-efficient waste management system means that the waste is managed in the following order of priority:Prevention Reuse Recycling Energy recoveryLandfill The prevention of waste is an important area that has not been adequately explored by the building and construction industry. The quantities of waste could decrease with the implementation of measures such as ordering materials in the dimensions required, Prefabricated components, logistics centres with Just-In-Time deliveries, less and improved packaging and less wrapping. The reuse of waste materials and temporary apparatus as well as the use of a return pallet system are examples of reuse that reduces the quantities of waste.In most cases the source sorting work is a matter of course and the proportion going to landfill is down at a low level. The source sorting can be optimised by sorting all materials that can be reused and recycled to use them as a resource.

Ask any constructional worker and there is a high probability that this person knows a colleague with pain or other disorders caused by working with power tools.According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority 71 percent of the Swedish constructional workers is exposed to vibrations at least 25 percent of the working hours. Despite this, the number of reported occupational sicknesses caused by vibrations is as low as 1, 4 percent.JM Ltd. is one of the largest constructional companies in Sweden. Their main business is new housing and development of residential areas. God quality and low impact on the environment is a part of great importance in the company?s long-term goals.
Våningspåbyggnad av miljonprogrammets flerbostadshus : Förutsättningar och kontroller för genomförandet av våningspåbyggnader
Under de så kallade rekordåren mellan 1961-1975 byggdes det totalt 920,000 lägenheter i flerbostadshus i Sverige, och idag finns omkring 850,000 av dessa kvar. Den vanligaste byggnadstekniken under perioden var med byggande av förtillverkade våningshöga fasadelement tillsammans med en platsbyggd bokhyllestomme med tvärgående bärande innerväggar och gavlar.Syftet med arbetet är att kontrollera om en våningspåbyggnad på ett referenshus från miljonprogrammet med bokhyllestomme är möjlig för att skapa nya lägenheter som medför ökade hyresintäkter för fastighetsägaren, och kan medverka till ökad variation i området arkitektonisk och öka lägenhetsutbudet. Arbetet ger information om vad som behöver kontrolleras och utredas vid uppstarten av ett påbyggnadsprojekt.Arbetet jämför och beskriver tre olika stomförslag på en våningspåbyggnad. Alternativen som tas upp är massivträstomme med bärande flerskiktskiva, prefabricerad betong ? och stålstomme bestående av HD/F-plattor och VKR-pelare, och ett alternativ bestående av volymelement.Inventering av konstruktionen och bärförmågan hos den befintliga stommen visar att det finns bärförmåga kvar att utnyttja.

Uttorkningsmöjligheter i ett fuktskadat badrum med hjälp av spaltmetoden
Buildings today are built to maintain a healthy indoor environment and an efficient energy usage which is probably why damages caused by dampness has increased since the 1960?s.A study between year 2008 and 2010 showed that 26 percent of the 110 000 examined houses had damages and flaws caused by dampness that could prove to be harmful later on. This means that one out of four bathrooms risk the chance to develop damages by dampness. Approximately 2 percent of the houses had already developed water damages. It is here where the problems appear.
