The purpose of this study is to identify how the needs, demands and preferences for a certain service appear among University students in Kalmar. This is necessary to examine in order to create and design a possible service that will solve the problem with the University students eating habits.This study is based on a qualitative method with quantitative elements. The qualitative method contains of three focus group discussions. The quantitative method contains of a questionnaire. All respondents in this study fits in the target group.One important conclusion that we have stated after the investigation of this study, is that the nature of this problem seems to differ from person to person.

The purpose has been to investigate leisure-time centers actual work on children with attention deficit disorder. In addition, the study strives to make leisure-time centers way of working, in relation to their assignments, visible. The study has also compared how the leisure-time centers work and what the research says. The survey was conducted with the help of three exploratory interviews with pedagogues and three-piece observations at the leisure-time centers. It was carried out at three different schools in two counties in Sweden.The results of the survey show that the schools are trying to create clear procedures, though the centers succeed with this in varied degrees.

The aim of this master thesis is to examine which criteria are generally used to guide pub­lic librarians in their acquisitions' decision. The study went ahead in France, principally at La Bibliotheque municipale de Lyon. It also includes a view of some special library services in the social field.Twenty persons were interviewed and an attempt was made to divide their answers into three sections: acquisition routines and criteria for media purchase, how to receive the library visi­tors and their influence on the acquisitions, and, finally, the librarians' own opinions on the matter. One important question was whether censorship is applied and in that case, would it be a deliberately way of acting or rather a spontaneous reaction, more or less unconscious.Censorship in real or manifested through a self-preservative reaction turned out to be a factor closely dependant on the library's financial situation. Many librarians affirmed they would find useful some kind of a written practical library acquisition policy..

Dogs with behavioral problemsThis study was made to investigate if there was a problem in today?s society regarding dogs showing for example excessive aggression and/or anxiety. The main questions in this study was "is there a problem today" and "if there is a problem, what can we do to prevent it". To investigate these questions interviews were made with six different professions concerning the dog domain. The result of the study shows that three of the interviewed considered it to be a problem, one did not have an opinion on the matter and two choose not to call it a dog related problem because it mostly depends on the owner.

En trend på marknaden för affärssystem är att utveckla branschspecifika affärssystem, det vill säga system som är anpassade till affärsprocesserna inom en viss bransch. Eftersom det är affärsprocesserna i en verksamhet som affärssystemet ska stödja är det vid utveckling av affärssystem viktigt att kartlägga dessa processer.Detta arbete syftar till att undersöka vilka problem som kan uppstå i samband med processkartläggning vid utveckling av branschspecifika affärssystem. Vidare är arbetet begränsat till att endast behandla problem vad det gäller val, uppdelning och benämning av affärsprocesser. Arbetet har genomförts dels genom en fallstudie, dels genom intervjuer av leverantörer av affärssystem.Resultatet av detta arbete visar på problem med att avgöra hur många och vilka affärsprocesser som ska innefattas av affärssystemet. Vidare kan problem uppstå bland annat vad det gäller identifiering av huvudprocesser och antalet processnivåer som ska tillämpas.

Att starta och bilda ett företag är inte alltid det lättaste. Vissa gör det utan några problem medan andra stöter på hinder och problem. I denna studie kommer de vanligaste hindren och problemen som entreprenörer stöter på att identifieras. Detta för att underlätta för andra personer som står i tur att starta företag. Syftet är att undersöka vilka hinder och problem som upplevs av de som startar nytt aktiebolag, samt undersöka hur entreprenören gjort för att undvika eller lösa dessa.

In the construction industry the number of female managers is very low, only four percent (SCB, 2010). In fact, women with management positions has risen by six percentage overall, the last seven years (SCB, 2010). If women in managerial positions continue to grow at this rate, the proportion of women managers will be equal to that of male managers in 2033. More women are needed in the maledominated construction industry in particular because it is deemed that they have a different way of thinking and acting (Granér, 1994). Nelton (1991) believes that companies can take advantage of female managers to be more competitive on the market, the reason why is because women can see other possibilities when solving problems. Rapacioli (2010) argues that the recruitment of women into management positions not only benefits the individual itself but also the company. We have used a qualitative study with a deductive approach. Six respondents from the same company were interviewed, two of them have management positions and the other four were underemployed.The research question of this paper is: What differences and similarities are seen between male and female leadership in terms of their characteristics in the construction industry?The purpose of this paper is to examine similarities and differences in leadership in the construction industry where the focus is on the female and male characteristics. To fulfill our purpose we chose a qualitative study. We have interviewed six respondents at one company in the construction industry. Two of the six respondents have management positions and the remaining four are employed. In this paper we have concluded that there are some differences and similarities between men and women´s leadership in terms of their characteristics.

In this Bachelor's thesis the result from a Delphi study regarding FRBR, performed by Yin Zhang and Athena Salaba in 2007 and published in 2009 ? What is next for Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records? A Delphi study ? is analyzed by qualitatively interviewing professionals active within the library and information science field in Sweden. The results are compared and possible deviations and adjustments are illuminated and discussed. The purpose of the thesis is to determine the topicality of the Delphi study in 2011 from a Swedish perspective. Conclusions made from the thesis shows that the main areas are still the same, but adjustments regarding the relative order of issues might be needed; primarily a shift of focus from theoretical to practical issues.

 Since the 28thof May the project to develop an internal Innovation Leadership Program (ILP)on Accenture has been running and came to an end in November the same year. The taskwas formed into a master thesis and given to two students at the Royal Institute ofTechnology in Sweden.Since the start the content and structure of the ILP has been established based on the resultsof a theoretical study, a gap analysis and an external and internal benchmarking. The theoreticalstudy focused on articles, books and lectures about innovation, creativity and pedagogy. Subjectssuch as leadership, motivation, reflection and coaching were studied as well, but in a smaller scale.The gap analysis consisted of eleven interviews with people from different career levels withinAccenture and the goal was to establish the view of innovation and creativity among the employees.The interviews also asked about the knowledge the participants had about Technology Lab in orderto get insight of how to improve their communication and cooperation with people in client projects.Internally a similar program was studied called Minority Leadership program, whom will not bedescribed further in this report, to get inspiration. The external benchmarking was conducted onStanford and was very successful.

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturöversikt var att beskriva hur intravenös cytostatikabehandling vid cancersjukdom påverkar patienters ätande. Studien baserades på 12 vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet visade att patienter hade problem med förändrad smak och lukt, illamående och kräkning samt smärta, muntorrhet och sväljning. Dessa symtom påverkade ätandet i stor utsträckning och hade en negativ inverkan på livskvaliteten. Smakförändringarna och problem från munnen var mer besvärande och påverkade ätandet i större utsträckning än vad som kunde förutses.

Denna rapport beskriver ett examensarbete där optiska fibrer av plast integrerades i varpled i en väv. Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka om det är möjligt att industriellt producera ljusemitterande vävar med optiska fibrer. Arbetet delades upp i olika delar, både teoretiska och praktiska. Den teoretiska delen innebar informationssökning inom olika medier, såsom vetenskapliga artiklar och intervjuer med insatta människor inom de berörda områdena. Den praktiska delen i examensarbetet bestod av flera olika moment.

När verksamheter ska införa nya informationssystem uppstår det ofta problem som kan ha med sociala och organisatoriska effekter att göra. Problem kan även uppstå vid utvecklandet av informationssystem och då ofta vid slutet av systemutvecklingen eller när informationssystemet har tagits i drift. Problem med systemutveckling och införande av informationssystem kostar mycket tid och pengar för verksamheter. Detta arbete har som syfte att se om verksamheter kan dra nytta av liknande verksamheters erfarenheter av problem vid införande av ett nytt informationssystem.För att undersöka problemområdet har en litteraturstudie genomförts där det har identifierats ett antal problem med införande av ett nytt informationssystem inom hemsjukvården. Vidare gjordes en surveyundersökning där intervjuer användes för att intervjua distriktsveterinärer då det ansågs som en liknande verksamhet där båda åker ut på patientbesök.

If not purified leachate from landfills would cause damages on the environment. At most landfills in Sweden local treatment of leachate is achieved, at the rest the leachate is transported to sewertreatment. While no comprehensive legal provisions for discharge exist in Sweden there is a difference in discharges between the installations for landfill. If no comprehensive legal provisions is produced guidance must improve.Treatment of leachate and self monitoring system at fifteen installations in Sweden has been studied and compared. A study of literature about different treatment solutions has also been performed.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyse the knowledge of three of the treatment methods used in youth welfare and this is accomplished through a knowledge review. This study contains an analysis of three different treatment methods described in eleven different peer reviewed articles. The articles are all internationally published between the years 2006 to 2012 and they are all effectiveness evaluations. The articles deal with treatment methods concerning Motivational interviewing (MI), Aggression Replacement Training (ART) and Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and these are three of the most common in youth welfare in Sweden. There is not much knowledge of Swedish conditions and that is why this study focuses on international research.

The main purpose is to illuminate how a company links certain values to its brand in an effort to achieve a competitive position. We have done this by studying the government owned company Svenska Spel and its entrance on the netpokermarket. With Corporate Social Responsibility as a guidance for the company they wanted to offer Swedish gamblers an alternative to the, often morally dubious, international actors. Our thesis has taken an internal (corporate) as well as an external (consumer) perspective on the result of this strive. Our conclusions are that although Svenska Spel is successfully integrating social responsibility into their netpokerbusiness, they are facing a difficulty in making the consumer fully appreciate it.
