During my practical training I have seen what after-school offers children. Large groups of children and little staff, often results in that the children had to play freely until they go home. Few activities are offered to the children and the staff is busy looking after the children and ensures that they are not fighting.The purpose of this study is to find out how children feel about their leisure activities and if they think they are being offered a meaningful leisure. The main research questions were:How do children experience their leisure-time?Do after-school offers children a meaningful leisure and is it the children's interests and needs that govern the activities and the environment?How do the number of children in the leisure group affect the leisure time?The methods to collect data in the study are observations and interviews.

The purpose with this final thesis has been to study the aesthetics and design of roundabouts and to ascertain important factors that influence the experience of them. The investigation was carried out through literature-, field studies and interviews with persons that in different ways have participated in the formation of roundabouts. Furthermore, six roundabouts have been explored in more depth so that the survey would get a more practical link. These six roundabouts all occur in the rim of a city and do thereby have an important role as a gateway. The environments in such contexts are often complex which adds additional difficulty in achieving a visually appealing design, especially when taking into account the usually high traffic intensity.

Användarinvolverade förfaringssätt i systemutvecklingsprocesser har funnits i några decennier, men de har inte fått fullständig acceptans av alla systemutvecklingsföretag på marknaden. Orsakerna till detta är flera, till exempel bristande kunskap om begreppet eller att företags affärsidé inte stödjer arbetssättet. Det finns en hel del litteratur som förespråkar arbetssättet, men den tar främst upp möjligheter och problem som användare kan ställas inför. Vi anser därför att det finns en avsaknad av systemutvecklares uppfattningar i litteraturen, och vi vill med vårt kandidatarbete belysa hur systemutvecklare ser på tillämpning av användarinvolvering inom systemutveckling. I detta arbete har vi genomfört en undersökning av kvalitativ karaktär där systemutvecklare som ansåg sig arbeta på ett användarinvolverat sätt intervjuades med semistrukturerade frågor som framarbetades ur den insamlade litteraturen.

The purpose in this Bachelor degree project has been to create a visual identity and to design a compilation cassette for the small music distributor Kyrkvägen Kassett. My way of approaching the task has been to draw parallells between the cassette as an obsolete music format and more or less abandoned or anachronistic formats, materials and printing methods in the graphic design area. The result is a visual identity that is built upon materials and methods of production rather than specific visual elements. The work is to be seen as a tribute to the small non-profit producers of music and graphic design. As often done in the DIY movement, I chose to consider my lack of practical knowledge in these fields not as an encumbrance but as an asset and an incentive.

ABSTRACT (english)Introduction: The possibility to transplant an organ is an important part of the health care system, which demands great resources and a well functioning organization with a level of high competence. The work with organ donation is complex and brings forward a great amount of different emotions for the operation room nurse. Aim: The aim with the study is to illustrate the operating room nurses experience when the organ donor is brain dead. Method: Data collection has been performed with semi-structured interviews, which have been interpreted by qualitative manifest analysis. The design of the study is pilot towards a study in full scale.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att fastställa utifrån ett konsultperspektiv vilka kritiska framgångsfaktorer som konsultbolagen har möjlighet att påverka vid en implementering av ett affärssystem. Valet att se KFF ur ett konsultperspektiv baserar sig på en saknad av forskning inom området på det vis att tidigare gjorda studier inte riktat sig mot denna grupp. Genom intervjuer med representanter från konsultbolag har vi fastställt ett antal framgångsfaktorer som är kritiska vid en affärssystemimplementering. Intervjuerna syftade också till att undersöka hur konsultbolagen kan påverka dessa faktorer gentemot kunden för att se vilka framgångsfaktorer som konsulten ansvarar för. Genom studien har vi identiferat ett antal framgångsfaktorer som utifrån ett konsultperspektiv anses vara av kritisk karaktär, nämligen: branschkunskap & branscherfarenhet, mål & ambitionsnivå, väl genomförd förstudie, effektiv styrgrupp, träning & utbildning, avsättning av resurser, stöd från ledningsgrupp, kommunikation, support och avsättning av resurser.

Detta arbete handlar om elevers kunskaper i att översätta en matematisk problemtext till en ekvation. Jag har dels studerat tidigare forskning inom området och dels gjort en egen studie. Huvudsyftet med arbetet är att ta reda på om det finns problem för elever i årskurs nio att finna en ekvation som kan lösa en bestämd uppgift och i så fall vilka är svårigheterna för eleverna. För att uppfylla syftet med detta arbete har jag valt att göra en litteraturstudie, en kvantitativ studie samt en mindre kvalitativ studie. I litteraturstudien tar jag bland annat upp vad algebra och ekvationer är för något, algebrans betydelse i skolan och vad tidigare undersökningar säger i det område jag undersöker.

This thesis examines the perception and use of the school library for students at an Upper Secondary School. The school has a high frequent of immigrant students, and the students interviewed all have an immigrant background. The intention was to find out how the students used the school library and what perception they have of the school library. The method used was semi-structured interviews with eight students, both males and females, who studies different educational programs. The instrument of theory was that from Elisabeth Tallaksen Rafste?s theoretical framework.

This thesis is the result of the author?s interest in music and electronics, namely the design and manufacturing of a stereo sound system with an active crossover. In short it can be stated that an active crossover has many advantages over its traditional passive counterpart. The active design naturally results in a more complex system comprised of a multiple number of components. This report deals with the theoretical aspects of preamplifiers, crossovers and power amplifiers as well as power supply and control.

The purpose of this development project is to create a model for working with a high school project in Electrical and Energy Program. It should be conducted in a form like companies do according to the goals from The Swedish National Agency for Education. In order to fully perform this we use the concept of Young Entrepreneurship. The model is created according to the new conditions from The National Electrical Safety Board. There is now an exception saying that a student during education is released from the demand of employment that is the normal procedure where you are under supervision from a certified electrician. During the project there has been theoretical and practical examinations in order to clear out the advantages and disadvantages using this model, but also to examine whether it is useful in the future and to what extent it can be used. The result indicates that the model is useful and fulfills the goals from The Swedish National Agency for Education but that the model has its limitations and difficulties.

It becomes increasingly more important that, as a new buisness, both to be seen and heard in an increasingly harder competition situation where the range of similar products and services increase. It requires a well planned and well thought visual profile to succesfully stand out on the market. To give a good impression, this profile should be both distinct and aesthetically appealing. In the making of a new profile it requires creativity to succesfully think in new directions and to separate from the competition.This practical report presents the production process for a designsolution to the new website Röstförmedlingen (Voice agency), a commission from the production and commercial bureau Bartos media. The task in this project was to create a graphic profile and a lofi-prototype that would represent Röstförmedlingen as a buissness.

The purpose of my essay is to see how teachers are working to integrate the two subjects Art and Swedish in their teaching, and to see how this integration is made. What do teachers think about subject-integration? What are the positive effects of it? Are there any difficulties involved? Do the teachers prioritize cooperation with other subjects?To answer my questions I have interviewed eight teachers, four of them in upper secondary school and four in lower secondary school. I have also studied literature about subject-integration and children?s learning, curriculum?s and syllabi in the subjects of Art and Swedish.The results of my study show that the interviewed teachers are positive when it comes to integrating Art and Swedish and other subjects.

To be able to plan different treatments, accurate data is required. The collection of data is often expensive and that?s why the aim is to lower the inventory costs without loosing the accuracy of the data. Holmen Skog has in its strive to lower the costs, decided to evaluate two different methods for forest delineation, computer aided forest delineation and digital stereo view. This study?s purpose is to evaluate these two methods in regard to usability for a beginner and how good the delineation gets.

Storleken på informationsmängderna i vad som finns tillgänglig på Internet idag gör att söktjänster närmast är en nödvändighet för informationsökning. Ibland kan det upplevas att det är svårt att hitta begärd information hos söktjänster utan att få fram en mängd oönskade sidor, så att man måste hitta relevant information bland dem och filtrera bort irrelevant information. Ett problem för många söktjänster är hur de ska kunna ta hänsyn till användarnas individuella informationsbehov och därigenom skapa förutsättningar för effektivare sökprocesser. Denna magisteruppsats handlar om användarnas upplevelser av informationssökning på Internet. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka den problematik som finns när man söker information med hjälp av söktjänster på webben, användarnas syn på olika söktjänster och att även få fram förbättringsförslag.
