Mamma och pappa har oftast inte tid
The main purpose of this essay ?Mama & Papa usually do not have time? (Mamma och pappa har oftast inte tid), is to investigate what possibilities the pupils have when they need help with their homework. I also wanted to see what the actual conditions are when they do their homework. My second purpose is to see what their teachers think about homework and what they think are the positive and negative effects of homework. To be able to answer my main purpose I made a questionnaire with the pupils.

For most pupils homework is a natural part of school and their education and there are several providers of homework assistance: the pupil's parents, sibblings, friends, Internet forums, hired private tutoring, non-profit organisations and at times even the pupil's school. This study has investigated the use of the school-based homework assistance programme at the Upper Secondary School of Psychology in Stockholm and why the programme is not more frequently used by its pupils. The school offers homework assistance two hours each Thursday afternoon, with at least two teachers being present to tender for the school's 127 pupils. The cost of the programme has been estimated to approximately 12 500 Swedish kronor per week. Through the main use of a questionnaire given to both the school's students and teachers, as well as an interview with the school's headmaster, this study will show that despite receiving the opportunity few pupils take part of the programme on a regular basis.

This paper addresses the role of homework within the home and school environments using a qualitatively approach inspired by discourse analysis method and theory. The paper considers three newspaper articles to identify current attitudes and understanding regarding homework?s role. The paper?s structure brings results and analysis together allowing the discussion to be continuously extended and deepened.

The aim of this research is to examine how the homes of children, in cooperation with the schools, are offered opportunities to communicate and discuss mathematics together with the children in relevant situations. The overall intent of the study is manifest in scientific questions with focus on how parents view the subject and the opportunities to support their children with math homework as well as possibilities to actively support their child´s mathematics progress. The paper has a pfenomenographic approach, which means that it in a qualitative way describes similarities and differences in the ways the homes perceive this issue. The examination is implemented through a survey in which responds from 73 parents in four classes have been studied. Within this study six semi constructed interviews have been conducted.
Attityder till teoretiskaoch praktiska läxor : En elevstudie i årskurs 8
Detta är en studie om elevernas attityder till teoretiska och praktiska läxor. Intresset vaknadehos oss efter vår verksamhetsförlagda utbildning (VFU) och den egna skolgången. Alla eleverhar olika sätt att lära sig och vi som pedagoger skall ju sträva efter att individanpassaundervisningen. Vi tror att en praktisk läxa skulle kunna stimulera flera elevers sätt att lärasig. Det är både en kvalitativ och kvantitativ studie.
Läxor : Ett pedagogiskt verktyg!?
Sammanfattning Föreliggande uppsats syftar till att undersöka läxan som företeelse. Materialet som ligger till grund för denna studie omfattats av en enkätundersökning och intervjuer med verk-samma lärare. Vi har velat undersöka pedagogers individuella syften och intentioner med läxor. I undersökningen har framkommit att lärarnas främsta syften med läxor är att träna ansvar, få föräldrar engagerade i skolarbetet och att eleverna ska befästa kunskaper genom färdighetsträning. Med den nuvarande regeringen har läxan tillsammans med betyg samt ?ordning och reda? legat i fokus.

This essay is an attempt to scrutinize dance improvisation in terms of Aristotle?s concept of the practical knowledge phronesis. By remembering and reflecting upon lessons and my own practical knowledge and experience as a teacher in the subject of dance improvisation, I want to examine the ability to improvise as the dance students´ phronesis. Awareness, spontaneity and intuition are vital elements for the comprehension of phronesis and even represented in the basis training in dance improvisation. Läxor och läxhjälp på fritidshemmet - Homework and homework assistance in the school-age educare center
Syftet med vår studie var att undersöka hur läxor och läxhjälp berör fritidshemmets verksamhet. Studien belyser även en viss problematik gällande föräldrars möjlighet att hjälpa sina barn med läxorna utifrån ett socioekonomiskt perspektiv. För att undersöka detta har vi först tagit del av tidigare forskning om läxor och läxhjälp, därefter har vi intervjuat fyra lärare för att se hur de ser på syftet med läxor. Slutligen intervjuade vi tre fritidslärare för att se hur läxhjälpen berör fritidshemmets verksamhet. Vi har i vår slutsats kommit fram till att merparten av lärarna i vår studie anser att syftet med läxor är att befästa sina kunskaper men även för att lära eleverna att ta ansvar.
Rutavdraget för läxhjälp : En studie av regeringens interventionslogik och nyckelpersoners uppfattningar i Linköpings kommun
The main purpose of our paper is to reconstruct the intervention logic of the Swedish government's proposal to introduce a tax deduction for homework help. Furthermore, we also intend to outline the perceived impacts of this tax deduction in the municipality of Linköping. Our material consists of the government bill regarding the tax deduction, the parliamentary debate which preceded it as well as interviews with key people in the municipality of Linköping. In our study and in the light of Matthew Clarke?s theory of neo-liberalism within education policy, we also ask ourselves if the intervention logic behind the tax deduction and its perceived effects can be seen as a manifestation of neo-liberalism.

Within the practical learning knowledge is not only acquired to learn in practice, but the students must also be able to apply their theoretical knowledge to what he/she does. Against this background, the aim of the study was to investigate the importance of practical learning for students in college / university level and how they are experiencing the stress that may arise out of the loss of practical learning during their education, as well as their vision for working life after completing their education. The population of the study consisted of N = 36, which 18 of these had used both practical and theoretical learning and the remainder had only used theoretical learning. The method was a questionnaire survey with a high proportion of fixed alternative answers according to likert scales.

Undersökningen omfattar företag som har tagit emot elever både under den traditionella och under den nya praon. praon är skolans samverkan me dnäringslivet och syftet är att ge en blid över hur företagen i kommunen ser på den nya praon och dess förändring. Det finns en allmän verdertagen uppfattning om att lärare och elever har mottagit den nya praon med visst missnöje. En enkät har utformats och sänts till 65 företag, kommun och landsting. Av de 65 företag, kommun och landsting svarade 37 stycken.
Matematik, ett tråkigt ämne! Kan laborativt/praktiskt arbetssätt ändra elevers attityder till matematik?
The aim of the study was to investigate the students´ attitudes towards mathematics, their knowledge in the subject area they find the least interesting and whether laborative/practical working methods could awaken their interest and curiosity. During our work, we have looked into previous studies regarding girls´ and boys´ attitude and performance in mathematics. We handed out surveys to students in grade 9 at a School with many people from other cultures and nationalities in Malmö in order to find the answers to our questions. The result showed that most of the students thought that the subject area "scaling" was the least interesting. The implemented action program was a laborative/practical task within the "scaling" area.
Betydelse av laborativ matematik i dagens skola
The goal of this study is to gain knowledge and understanding of how a teacher can apply mathematics with assistance from practical mathematics. Students? point of view on mathematics within practical mathematic lessons will also be examined.
Four teachers from preschool to third grade in primary school were interviewed. 30 students from grades one to three were also surveyed. The study shows that teachers see a major benefit when practical mathematics is used in the theoretical teachings of mathematics.
