The aim of this exam is about possibility to position a didactical theory of Curriculum for compulsory school, preschool class and the leisure-time centre 2011 (Lgr11). I use Michael Foucault?s discourse analysis to study the syllabuses for social sciences subjects History and Religion. The main theme is to seek what kind of world does these two social study subjects construct for students in high school. The point of using Foucault?s discourse is to seek specific knowledge and words which is used for power positioning.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate which factors the individuals found important in the process of becoming a person with a drug-free life. The framing of the questions we had were to get the experiences, thoughts and wishes of the drug users. The survey was based on thematised qualitative interviews and focused in the personal stories of the interviewees. We interviewed four women and five men, all of which had several years of drug-abuse behind them. We found similarities and patterns and we could identify that the three most important things was the own motivation, will and that the drug-abuser had the possibility to change their social network and had the ability to find other important things in life..

The aim for this paper is to investigate how a limited number of youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues view their vocational competence, which kind of power the persons in the essay experience to have in their workplace and which kind of status they experience that they have in comparison with other occupational groups in their schools. The final aim of the paper is to find out how teachers interact with youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues when it comes to their vocational competence. My questions are:How do a group of youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues view their professional assignments?How does a group of youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues view their power in their workplace in comparison with other occupational groups?How do a limited number of youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues view their status in relation to teachers, other occupational-groups and parents? Which role have my respondents been assigned by their team and why do they think they have gotten that role?To answer these questions I have used a qualitative method which includes four in depth interviews. The overall theoretical perspectives are symbolic interactionism and social constructivism.

Efter kommunismens fall 1989, tampades Bulgarien med sociala, ekonomiska och politiska svårigheter. År 2002 ansåg EU att landet var stabilt nog för att bli medlem i januari 2007, men vägen dit har inte varit lätt. Det har inom krigföringen skett en utveckling mot riskfri krigsföring där västliga stater, och då främst USA och Storbritannien är de främsta representanterna. Denna typ av krig är ett resultat av en kombination av (1) minskad inhemsk tolerans för förluster i krig och (2) en teknologisk utveckling inom militären. Denna typ av krigföring har kommit att kallas spektakelkrig och uppvisar en oförmåga att leva upp till kriterierna för att ett krig skall vara rättfärdigt; spektakelkriget har dels svårigheter att startas med en rättfärdig orsak (Jus ad Bellum) och dels att sedan föras rättfärdigt (Jus in Bello) i linje med vad teorin om rättfärdiga krig stipulerar. Jag har funnit bevis för detta genom att undersöka tre sentida, västliga operationer som samtliga har resulterat i krig och där samtliga fallerar på en eller flera av kriterierna för rättfärdiga krig. According to the Swedish Red Cross, there are over 40 million people fleeing from war and conflict around the world. Some of these individuals are suffering from a disorder named PTSD (Post Traumatic Disorder Syndrome). This disorder is caused by previous experience incurred by war, conflict and violence. My intention with this study has been to increase the knowledge about refugees in Sweden suffering from PTSD syndrome. I have performed a study based on a project named Exigo.

The ability of emigrants to contribute to their homelands through the sending of remittances has been intensely recognised in recent years. This is especially true for developing countries for whom this money is seen to be an important source of funds from abroad. Eritrea is often mentioned in terms of success in the way they have mobilised the capacities of their diaspora. Since the Eritrean independence in1993 adults in the diaspora have been asked to contribute two per cent of their income to the Eritrean state. They have also been asked to make other donations at times of need.

På kort tid har Colombia gått från ett totalförbud mot abort till en oväntad legalisering, en kontroversiell lagändring vilken är ett resultat av inhemska och internationella organisationers arbete i kombination med det globala civilsamhället. Denna utveckling visar en oväntad källa till makt som blir intressant att fördjupa sig i då det är ett aktuellt fenomen, och en kritisk fråga som kom ett genomföra en radikal förändring i ett konservativt klimat. Vi studerar hur olika rådande teorier om det globala civilsamhällets påverkan på politiken kan ge en ökad förståelse för detta exempel, genom att titta närmare på begrepp som makt, globalisering, mänskliga rättigheter samt relation mellan stat och samhälle. Syftet med rapporten är att förbättra och effektivisera Kultur Skånes kommuni-kation med sina externa målgrupper. Som ett led i processen har en målgruppsanalys gjorts, där resultatet blev en ny målgruppsuppdelning, som presenteras i en matris. Med hjälp av en målhierarkimodell och kvalitativa undersökningar i form av enkätutskick och djupintervjuer med målgrupperna, har resultat kunnat presenteras. Är Israel-Palestina konflikten ett religiöst krig eller en politisk fråga? Det är denna fråga vi har som övergripande syfte att besvara i uppsatsen genom att studera hur olika dimensioner av identitet används i konflikten. För att göra det har vi studerat de olika parternas argumentation för rätten till landet, samt för några aktuella konflikthandlingar. Vi har analyserat officiella dokument, artiklar, intervjuer och uttalanden med en innehållslig idéanalys, som delar upp argumenten i ideologiska/religiösa och kognitiva. De aktuella handlingar vi tittat på är palestinsk terrorism/frihetskamp samt Israels byggande av en mur/staket runt Västbanken.

The aim of this study about wind power planning in forest was to examine the factors and restrictions, which represent technical limitations, biodiversity, tourism and amount of energy for wind farms in Kronoberg County. Suitable areas for wind power were identified from the collected information about planning principles and potential conflicts. From the suitable areas the potential energy gain is calculated. Methods used were mainly a literature review, interviews with experts and practitioners, GIS analysis and a rough calculation of the energy gain. The section of information and facts describes in general wind power planning and possible conflicts.

Transcending sound design is possible. There are unseen possibilities and a great potential for improvement and development in sound and music design ? but there is a great difficulty penetrating the obstacles that lies in the way for such development to take place and to exist. The difficulties in being negotiable and productive lies more within the limits of the audience it has to gain, than in itself. It is as though music and sound design has to evolve very slowly, in an almost evolutionary style; one step at a time, to be accepted.

The aim of the study is to get a better understanding of leader's reactions in a crisis situation, and to examine whether locus of control and coping strategies can be related to leaders need for social support. The role of a leader in a crisis situation is complex and includes several aspects which must be illustrated to understand the leader's situation. Four leaders have participated in the study. The methods that have been used are questionnaires for measuring locus of control and coping and semi-structured interviews. The results show that search for social support cannot be seen as an outcome of a specific locus of control or coping strategy.

This study titled When the spaces dominate A study of the school as disciplinary rooms is a study where the emphasis is on quality and where the results are based on observations. The purpose of the research was to analyse rooms and other artefacts in the school as seen from Foucault?s analysis of power. He emphasised that power is expressed in human relationships. To understand how that power is used one can study the techniques adopted and resistance offered.
