I denna uppsats beskrivs situationen för mångbesökarna inom missbruks- och beroendevården. Kvalitativt intervjumaterial belyser upplevelser och erfarenheter som rör deras beroendeproblematik. De bär alla på någon form av samsjuklighet och återkommer till psykiatriska intensiv- och akutmottagningen för avgiftning på sjukhus. Att hitta sätt att avlasta den mentala smärtan är ledande genom berättelserna tillsammans med uttalade behov av att bli lyssnade på och av att bli tagna på allvar. Genom makt att påverka sin situation och kraft att förändra den i gemenskap med andra kan de lindra sin ohälsa.

When contemplating entering an alliance the rationale behind the decision should differdepending on the size of the companies involved as well as on other important factors. The importantfactors influencing the decision are related to the resource pooling Potential of the alliance,the power structure along with the business network the companies are a part of. Theanalysis has shown proof of a need for cooperation if one wish to succeed in the telecommunicationindustry and it has also determined which resources that are deemed to be most important toget in touch with, for our study object, to facilitate its access to the market. Those resources aredefined as a direct channel to the customer, funds/capital and the access to relevant businessnetworks. To get in touch with these lacking resources, three alternative approaches has beenproposed; all of them involving a strategic alliance decision.

In 2010 Swedish political parties used commercials broadcasted on TV for the first time in order to gain votes in a general election. In connection with the election the parties were criticized for not succeeding to formulate a story to the voters that conveyed how they wanted to change Sweden. In this paper I use central concepts from rhetoric, storytelling, postmodernism and psychology to formulate three demands each on the narrator, the story and its reception. Using the resulting image of what distinguishes a good narrator, a good story and a good reception as a starting point, I investigate to what extent the critique was justified. My findings indicate that the degree to which the commercials fulfill these demands vary greatly.

Ångermanland has at the last five years lost 420 hockey players. This is a qualitative study that focus on investigating the main problems of dropouts among young hockey players and how ice hockey associations in Ångermanland act to find solutions to the problem. The main questions of the study are: How can the dropout problems in Ångermanland be understood or explained in terms of youth operators' perspective and what are the Potential strategies that the ice hockey associations are using to deal with the dropout problem and what approaches to youth hockey is reflected in the youth operators' statements? The study was based on semi-structure interviews with 6 different ice hockey sports clubs in Ångermanland. The results showed that the leadership programs ought to be more educational, and more oriented toward understanding the children instead of mainly technical learning objectives about how to shoot, dribble, and skate.

This thesis was developed as an assignment from Ludosity Interactive where the goal was to develop a copy of the Xbox Live Indie Games-marketplace from the Xbox 360. Ludosity Interactive had a necessity to easily test a game's attractiveness to Potential customers using testing people from outside the company in a simulated Xbox Live Indie Games test environment; excluding this developed system there is no other way to do such an analysis without actually releasing the game on the Xbox Live Indie Games marketplace and then analyze the resulting sales from the product.The finished system had to be similar to the original system to the degree that a user could see past the interface itself and use the system just as he/she would have used the real marketplace. It also had to be easy to change and add games to the system so that Ludosity Interactive easily could show the games and the data that they deemed interesting for their tests. The final product was developed using C#, XNA and XML together with an Agileinspired development method in combination with Pivotal Tracker. This report describes how this product was developed..

Today?s electrical grid companies understand that better knowledge of and information about their grid can help realize a smart grid network. One way to gain better knowledge and information about the low voltage network is to install measuring equipment on the substation transformer´s secondary low voltage side that measures the low voltage network losses for that specific substation. By doing so, grid companies can, due to the calculation of the low voltage network losses, identify and address issues such as illegal power dissipation, unmeasured power outtakes, and unsatisfied technical documentation for the substations low voltage network.During 2012, Mälarenergi Elnät AB had a total electrical network loss (both medium and low voltage network losses included) of three to four percent of their total distributed electrical volume. Converting this energy volume into a monetary figure this accounts for a loss of around 30 million Swedish crowns.

During the second part of the 20th Century celebrities became more commonly used for commercial purposes as they could enhance purchase intentions, word-of-mouth- intentions and change attitudes towards brands and products. Over the last few years blogs and bloggers have become more and more used for product placing and the bloggers? power over consumers? behaviour has grown rapidly. The aim of this study is to compare a celebrity?s and a blogger?s impact on consumer behaviour and try to understand the underlying reasons why they do have such power over their audiences.

Huvudfrågan i arbetet är hur produktivitet och säkerhet kombineras i de säkerhetslösningar som existerar idag samt huruvida högre säkerhet leder till ökad komplexitet. Det tillvägagångssätt som använts består av en lastmätning av Secure Socket Layer (SSL), och Pretty Good Privacy (PGP), samt en teoretisk jämförelse av säkerhetslösningarna PGP, SSL och Secure Electronic Transaction (SET). Detta innebär att PGP som har jämförelsevis hög säkerhet när det kommer till kryptering även är den säkerhetslösning är mest resurskrävande. SSL däremot är mindre säkert med betydligt lägre resursanvändning. Generellt kan man med facit i hand säga att den lösning som är säkrast även är den mest komplexa.

Abstract During the last 15 years, the former ?really existing socialist? economies have undertaken an extensive transition process. In this paper the development, measured as GDP growth, is analyzed using variables for economic policy. The analysis is both theoretical, taking as starting point current positions in academia, and econometrical with the linear regression model. We show that while economic policy variables of inflation, economic freedom and institutional quality affect economic growth, the results are not only the ones predicted by the theory.

This paper describes how files and information can be shared in organisations and workplaces. We studied and compared the traditional file sharing in Microsoft Active Directory and the Social file sharing that comes with Microsoft SharePoint Sites. We used qualitative studies based on interviews with system administrators, management and by our own observations to acquire the necessary data. Using independent research, we were able to analyze the data and show the general difference between the traditional and the social file sharing systems. Social file sharing enables the user to easily store and share files in a flexible online environment.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate different ways of illustrating the information literacy of librarians and with a pragmatic view survey what has been written about marketing the librarians. The thesis is based on a marketing theory introduced by Philip Kotler. He believes that marketing is a social process and that everything can be marketed. I have reviewed three marketing strategies and their significance in marketing the information literacy of librarians.

Spel blir större för varje år som går och därmed även världen i vilken spel utspelar sig. Dessa världar  ska  fyllas  med  olika  typer  av  miljöer,  som  till  exempel  städer.  Att  låta  utvecklare skapa allt detta innehåll i dessa spelvärldar,  som städer  och allt de innehåller,  skulle ta upp för mycket av deras tid. Genom att procedurellt generera innehåll kan man spara mycket tid. I  det  här  arbetet  granskas  en  agentbaserad  teknik  för  stadsgenerering.  Städerna  som genereras  är  tänkta  att  vara  äldre  städer  som  har  en  stadsmur  runt  sina  äldre  stadsdelar. Experimentmiljön  består  av  ett  rutnät  i  en  matris  likt  ett  schackbräde.  Agenter  skapas  i denna matris för att skapa vägar och hus.

Solceller har på senare tid blivit allt hetare ämne inom byggbranschen med utveckling som ger allt bättre förutsättningar för dess tillämpning både gällande effektiv användning av solinstrålning och billigare tillverkningsprocess.Höga koldioxidutsläpp och det faktum att energiresurser som vi idag är beroende av kommer ta slut ställer allt högre krav på att vi som samhälle kan hitta alternativa hållbara lösningar. Solceller har stor Potential för detta då de möjliggör egen lokal elförsörjning för byggnader vilket inte bara skapar trygghet för fastighetsägaren som kan nyttja den i princip oändliga energikällan solen vilket sker utan koldioxidutsläpp förutsatt att produktion av solceller sker från en förnyelsebar energikälla, det möjliggör även elproduktion i städer och andra områden närmare elanvändningen än hur det traditionellt sker idag. Denna Potential ger upphov till två viktiga frågor, hur solceller påverkar ekonomin samt hur det påverkar miljön. För att lösningen skall vara attraktiv krävs att den ger utdelning både ekonomiskt och med miljöpoäng för att bidra till företagets miljöprofil.Följande arbete studerar tillämpningen av solceller i byggbranschen med fokus på ekonomi och process. Två referensobjekt ligger till grund för arbetet, Norra 2 för bostadshus och Torsplan för kontor, som används för att ta fram en resultatkalkyl för typbyggnad kontor och bostad.Studien baseras på ekonomiska modeller som livscykelkostnad, internränta, nettonuvärde, annuitet, återbetalningstid och s.k.

In organizations today Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is becoming a common means to try to gain legitimacy and credibility for their business. A successful CSR strategy has the Potential to generate positive outcomes for a company and reaching out to stakeholders about the corporation?s contribution in the field is an important part of the work. In this study I examine how the employees at Max Hamburgare receive the corporation?s efforts within sustainability, how it is perceived and what this means to the employees.
