Bakgrund: Hot och våld är inom akutsjukvården ett allvarligt arbetsmiljöproblem som ökar såväl i Sverige som i resten av världen. Ambulanssjukvården är ett område inom sjukvården där förekomsten av hot och våld är som mest framträdande. Ambulanspersonalens vårdrum varierar och därför kan det vara en utmaning att skapa en säker arbetsmiljö. Syfte: Syftet var att ur ett prehospitalt perspektiv beskriva vilka åtgärder som kan vidtas för att kunna förebygga hot och våld inom akutsjukvård. Metod: En litteraturstudie med systematisk sökning och beskrivande design användes.

This paper supports the thesis that creative consumer advertising also can be used as a recruitment tool. By increasing the level of creativity used in their communication, a company can affect the attractiveness of themselves as future employers. The creative advertising influences the brands perceived creativity. It also increases the perceived social, development- and reputational value as well as the future intentions with the brand. By being more creative the brand is also viewed as making more marketing effort, which in turn affects the perceived potential of the brand in a positive way.

After the two big hurricanes called ?Gudrun? (2005) and ?Per? (2007) in the south of Sweden, some landowners planted Douglas fir instead of the traditional Norway spruce and Scots pine. They did it for different reasons. Some of them spreading their "risk", others because they wanted better growth or to obtain a more storm-resistant stand and trees more protected against rot. In this study, survival and growth were examined on Douglas fir in 21 different locations, owned by private landowners in southern Sweden.

Risk management has become a key ingredient for businesses all over the world. High Reliability Organizations (HRO) has distinguished themselves as experts in this area. By continuously focusing on improving their ability to manage risks they?ve been able to successfully avoid catastrophes in environments where normal accidents can be expected due to complexity and risk factors.The aim of the thesis is to improve the risk management at Apotekens Service by applying theories from HRO and safety culture. In July 2009, following the re-regulation of the Swedish pharmacy market, Apotekens Service AB was appointed national pharmacy infrastructure supplier for the Swedish health care system.

In order to attract talented consultants, Sigma, a consultant company, wanted an online game for recruitment. In the game, potential employees? skills could be tested to determine whether they are qualified for the job. This paper presents a general technique for creating such a recruitment game. The report generalizes the recruitment game to a level-based game for the web, where a player should be able to progress from one level to the next by solving a given problem.

De senaste åren har intresset för hållbarhet ökat enormt. Alltfler företag satsar på att bedriva och utveckla ett hållbarhetsarbete i syfte att erhålla konkurrensfördelar och tillfredsställa kraven från berörda intressenter. Forskningen inom hållbarhet har främst bidragit till ökad en förståelse för den externa kommunikationen av hållbarhetsarbetet, och lett till förbättrade rutiner för hur företag redovisar detta. De interna rutinerna och styrningen för hållbarhetsarbetet har däremot inte har uppmärksammat på samma sätt. Med hjälp av styrningen har företag potential att identifiera hot och möjligheter, förbättra kommunikation och innovation, samt mäta och följa upp resultat för hållbarhetsarbetet.

The increasing threat of climate change has led to a increased need for models to predict future climat. In these models the changes in the soil carbon pools due to changes in microbiel degradation of the organic matter can lead to both positive and negative feedback-effects. There is however a lack of consensues on the temperature respons on degradation soil organic matter. This paper aim to give a better understanding on the factors controlling the temperature respons. The factors studied were the carbon substrate qualitity and the physiological status of the microorganisms.

When new land use policies are made, opinions of stakeholders need to be taken in account, to avoid future conflicts. The motivations of commercial enterprises are often clear and easily communicated but due to inaccessibility and language barriers the indigenous people?s perspectives and needs are harder to reveal. This study therefore aims to identify species and sites of importance for the local people in Masihulan village on Seram Island, East Indonesia. This is a first step to facilitate better integration of local people´s needs into local government decision-making processes.Researchers at the Center of International Forestry Research (CIFOR), with headquarter in Indonesia, have developed an approached called ?Multidisciplinary Landscape Assessment? that aims to assess important natural resources for local communities in tropical countries.

The purpose of the thesis Masculinities ? Gender and its Impact on the Social conditions of individuals is to perform a critical study of how gendered norms influence the social conditions of individuals. This has been done by a problematization and the attempt to answer the question of how the hegemonical masculinity can be analyzed as a discourse, and how the structural aspects of this discourse inflict on the social conditions of masculinities.The question was divided into the analytical themes: the boarders of the discourse, the institutionalization of the discourse, the actuation of the discourse and the agents of the discourse. The theoretical frame is constituted by the theory of discourse by Michel Foucault, the theory of the hegemonical masculinity by R.W. Connell and a subversive identity theory by Judith Butler.

I takt med globalisering och samhällstrender har det blivit allt viktigare för företagen att ta ett bredare ansvar för sitt agerande. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) innefattar ekonomiskt, legalt, etiskt samt filantropiskt ansvar och innebär för företagen ett arbete som bygger på lagar, egna initiativ och intressenters förväntningar. Att vara bra på något är också att vara bra på att förmedla det, att kunna kommunicera sitt CSR-arbete. Ämnen som transparens, strategi och förmåga att skicka rätt information genom rätt medium till rätt mottagare är vitala. Rapportens avsikt är att beskriva och skapa förståelse för hur ett detaljhandelsföretag kommunicerar sitt CSR-arbete på ett fördelaktigt sätt.

Utvecklingen av delade mobilitetstj?nster, s?som bildelning, cykeldelning och mikromobilitet, har framh?llits som lovande l?sningar f?r att adressera de utmaningar som pr?glar urbana transportsystem. Dock visar tidigare forskning att dessa tj?nster huvudsakligen anv?nds av m?n. Det finns ocks? en brist p? kunskap om varf?r kvinnor ?r underrepresenterade i anv?ndningen av delade mobilitetstj?nster och hur dessa tj?nster kan anpassas f?r att gynna kvinnors r?rlighet. Denna uppsats bidrar till att ?ka f?rst?else f?r de hinder som begr?nsar kvinnors j?mst?llda anv?ndning av delade mobilitetstj?nster samt vilka anpassningar som kan g?ras f?r att b?ttre tillgodose kvinnors r?rlighet.

 The current estimations in regards to the increase in environmental threats underline the importance of influencing individual behavior towards a more sustainable lifestyle. At the same time current trends show an increasing interest into ecologically produced foods around the world and that the consumption has seen a major rise in the 20th century. It is therefore of great importance that companies show their interest and commitment in order to offer and influence the consumer into choosing the environmentally sustainable alternative. Also, in order to properly reach out to the consumers, it is of outmost importance to map out their attitude towards these types of products. It is equally important, in order to fully realize the potential of successful positioning, to show an understanding for the underlying decision processes that dictates purchase.

The climate crisis represents a serious threat to both people and nature and it will exacerbate existing inequalities, especially for women and girls who are most at risk yet have contributed least to the problem. Climate adaptation is critical to addressing the challenges of climate change, and it requires integrating a gender perspective to take into account the specific vulnerabilities faced by women and girls, as highlighted in the Paris Agreement. This study examines the implementation of gender perspectives in Swedish governmental climate change adaptation strategies. By applying a qualitative content analysis to 24 government agencies? action plans, the study investigates how gender equality is addressed in the context of climate change adaptation.

Better, more efficient fertilizers with great productivity and economic returns are needed, but it is important today to find fertilizers that are also sustainable. It is also important to carefully monitor their impact on the environment, including potential side-effects. In this context, the microbial communities that carry out numerous essential functions contributing to a functional ecosystem are of particular interest. The present study is a complement to a pot experiment that investigated the potential of different waste products for use as fertilizers and how they affect the microbial community. In the pot experiment, the clearest treatment change in microorganism community function was found in the fully fertilized treatment used as a positive control. The question was whether this was indirect, i.e.

I denna uppsats är utgångspunkten att affärsförhandlingar blir allt viktigare som ett område för yrkeskunnande, kompetens och lärande. Trots detta saknas forskning ur ett pedagogiskt perspektiv på området.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka området affärsförhandling och dess potential som pedagogiskt forskningsområde. Detta har skett genom att studera ett antal företag med grund inom kunskapsekonomin och vars verksamhet omfattar komplexa affärer. Undersökningen har genomförts i form av form av kvalitativa intervjuer med yrkespersoner som besitter stor erfarenhet och kunskap av affärsförhandlingar på sina respektive områden. Resultatet dessa intervjuer har sedan jämförts och analyserats med hjälp av ett antal i bruk varande teorier och modeller på det pedagogiska området.Studien visar att affärsförhandling kan ses som en social, situerad, dialogisk och resultatorienterad process där det ofta saknas en gräns mellan försäljning och förhandling.
