This essay investigates the statements of Växjö municipality?s motives for some of its many environmental projects. The aim of the essay is to be theory-testing as to see how a municipality/city which promotes itself as being ?green? motivates its efforts in the environmental area. Växjö city promotes itself as ?The greenest city in Europe?, an award appointed to the city by BBC and other international media.

The traditional view of maintenance is machine-based, where acute maintenance tasks are highly valued. Preventive maintenance is viewed as secondary and less desirable to work with. The more modern view is to regard maintenance as a process. The machine-driven tasks are still necessary but are viewed as a part of the big picture.The purpose of this study is to examine how to high light general difficulties concerning maintenance management to aid organizations to reflecting upon their own situation. The study is based upon a pilot study initiated by ProcessIT concerning relevant key figures in maintenance.

Under mina praktikperioder, VFU-perioder, ute på olika skolor har jag observerat att de flesta elever inte har tekniskt självförtroende om de redskap de använder i textilslöjden. Med tekniskt självförtroende menas att man har tillräckligt med teknisk kunskap så man kan hantera redskapet. Med detta arbete ville jag få en insikt i hur mycket teknisk undervisning eleverna får i samband med textilundervisningen. Jag tror att skolan inte är könsneutral utan spär på könsrollerna genom att inte ha så mycket teknisk undervisning i textilslöjden. Jag tror att många har ett könsbundet förhållningssätt till teknik som ett ämne för pojkar och textilslöjd som ett ämne för flickor.

With a starting point in the legislation for organic production set up by the Swedishcertification organization KRAV, the reasons to why these regulations are important isexplained and how pigs are affected by these rules. The study also shows how well the pigscope in the organic environment considering the origin of the genetic material; from theconventional pig population. The conclusion is that pigs do function fairly well in the organicproduction environment and the traits affecting their functionality involve: motheringabilities, strong legs, good meat quality, good sow durability and longevity, capacity to eatmuch roughage and dark skin color. AbstractThe aim of this essay is to analyse what roll repression has had in the making of my unpublished collection of poems entitled Hopp som i hare. I examine how the autobiographical subject abortion has influenced the writing process and the outcome of the poems. By presenting literature that?s been important in the making of the collection I show some thoughts and ideas about Post Abortion Stress Disorder, a diagnosis without scientific grounds. In a discussion I go through the whole writing process from subject and genre choice through the revisions till the final version that were sent to be commented by the class in creative writing at Växjö University 2008.

1924 invigdes idrottsplatsen Tunavallen i Eskilstuna, då ansedd som en av Sveriges förnämsta. I mer än 75 år kom den oförändrad att stå kvar som ett minne av sin tid. Vid 1990-talets slut ansågs det dock att tidens sprungit ifrån gamla Tunavallen och att en allvarlig modernisering behövde göras. 2002 sker återinvigningen, Tunavallen är nu en modern fotbollsarena, specialanpassad för fotboll, helt enligt tidens krav. Vad denna uppsats syftar till är att jämföra två byggnationer av en idrottsanläggning.

I dagsläget finns inget system som övervakar en tullstation utan att man måste vara på plats på kontoret eller stationen.Denna rapport handlar om utvecklingen av en övervaknings applikation i Windows 8 store app miljö på uppdrag av Combitech AB mot kunden Kapsch TrafficCom. Applikationen utvecklades mot en Windows 8 surfplatta för att kunna övervaka en tullstation.Användargränssnitt är utvecklat i XAML och dess logik i C#. Onion Architecture har används för att bygga upp arkitekturen i applikationen.Resultatet av examensarbetet blev en fungerande prototyp av en övervaknings applikationen till en Windows 8 surfplatta, där innehållet genereras av en simulator. Applikationen visar användaren information om en specifik tullstation, exempelvis passager och event. .

The reality behind archaeological textilestudy is holistic, embracing many different aspects of society. The presentation of textiles has in my opinion become old-fashioned. I will show in my paper that Jonathan Adams? `seven constraints´ model, developed for research on ancient ships, can also be applied to textile research.

Sedan helikopterns introduktion har den använts på en olika sätt i många olika militäroperationer. Dess unika egenskaper gör den till en bra vapenplattform. Trots detta har dess roller inom modern krigföring aldrig riktigt definierats. Studien syftar till att ta reda på vilka roller helikoptern kan ha inom manöverkrigföring. Detta görs genom att analysera manöverkrigföringens utmärkande drag mot helikopterns utmärkande drag.

Studiens syfte är att söka få en utökad kunskap och förståelse för dövblindas upplevelser av sina villkor till högre utbildning och möjligheter till ett pedagogiskt samspel med utbildningspersonal. Det är en kvalitativ studie som bygger på intervjuer med dövblinda respondenter. Intervjuerna har utförts via E-post eftersom det hade blivit allt för tidskrävande och kostsamt med resor till respondenternas hemorter och hjälp från taktiltolk. Respondenterna var från början fem personer med handikappet dövblindhet av olika kön, tyvärr föll två personer ifrån av olika anledningar. Ett hermeneutiskt vetenskapligt perspektiv har använts eftersom detta betonar betydelsen av tolkning och förståelse.

When a leader changes to a new post in another kind of organisational culture, what happens then? Could a leader use the same kind of leadership when leading different kinds of groups? Different cultures have different needs and ways to handle things and in the end it all comes to situational leadership. Both leaders and theorists claim that the leader must adjust to what the organisation and its members needs. This paper contains an inquiry of how officers have handled their new assignments as leaders in the civilian world of the municipality. The research shows that a former military leader must also be able to lead another kind of group if they change to a civilian career.

Abstract My purpose of doing this study is to investigate the culture of delivering education in a strange combination of subjects labelled ?Language choice Swedish/English?. The activity however exists without curriculum, syllabus or certification. I want to put study the problem of delivering an educational activity without national certification. I will use a hermeneutic approach and render properly the headmaster?s, the teachers? and the students? views on the activity in one school.
