The usage possibilities of mobile platforms and smart phones are increasing rapidly as they provide support for better processors, sensors and communications capabilities. This has for many companies resulted in an increased interest to explore the possibilities of mobile platforms and how they can be integrated in various business areas. As the usage of mobile platforms in industrial applications is a new area, it is difficult for companies to estimate their potential, and what contributions the different platforms can give.This master thesis investigates the possibilities and limitations for the consultant firm Combitech when integrating mobile platforms and handheld devices in industrial applications. This is accomplished through a comparison between the platforms and by considering the possible areas of use for the mobile platforms based on experiences from companies and research in the area.For a company with the intent to deliver services that use mobile platforms, it is important to be able to combine expertise and resources to effectively attract customers. The mobile platforms will, if applied right, give great possibilities in industrial applications as a cost-effective alternative for both hardware and software solutions for businesses, which provides an opportunity to sell services to both established and new clients.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the need of working instructions in Derome Träteknik ?s industrial house-building factories. Furthermore we wanted to determine an appropriate way for developing working instructions adapted to the conditions in a certain production environment. In the construction industry today prefabricated building elements are frequently used. With this come repetitive work tasks that need to be carefully planned.

The purpose of this study is to explain the development of the first higher technical education in Trollhättan, with the added perspective of Trollhättans strong industrial profile as a city. The interesting thing being that the city did not try to first and foremost get a regular higher education, but a technical higher education instead. The study describes the political twists and turns the question took from its most early stage in the year 1940 and how the city's industrial profile did indeed have an impact on the development of the first higher technical education. Especially because there was a need for educated engineers in the city, as well as the country of Sweden in large during this time. The study also tries to explain the problems related to such a development, primarily by describing the lack of sufficient housing for schools during the 1950's, this meant that the higher regular school and the higher technical school had to cooperate in finding said housing.

Verksamheterna har blivit allt mer informationsbaserade och informationsteknologin är en oumbärlig del för organisationers infrastrukturer. Därför är utgångspunkten för denna studie att utveckla ny kunskap om hur individer uppfattar effektiv kommunikation i en IT-intensiv organisation. Arbetet undersöker även aspekter som medverkar eller motverkar den upplevda effektiviteten vid användandet av e-post i IT-intensiva organisationer och hur e-post kombineras med andra kommunikationsverktyg för att uppnå önskad effektivitet. Den empiriska grunden till studien är en organisation, där tio kvalitativa intervjuer gjorts.

This information helps the company to improve their products, services and their relationships..

Elektrisk simulering modaliteter (ES) är en relativt riskfri och enkel att implementeras vid rehabilitering. Syftet: En kunskapssammanställning som undersöker effekten av klinisk tillämpning av elektrisk stimulerings modaliteter på post-stroke spasticitet och motor funktion. Metod: En systematisk kunskap sammansättning för att skapa en överblick över kunskapsläget inom elektrisk stimulerings effekt på post-stroke spasticitet och motorfunktion. Inkluderade studier har identifierats via sökning databaser.

Den svenska marinen har av professor Geoffrey Till använts som ett utmärkande exempel på en s.k. post-modern marin i hans kategorisering av världens sjömakter. Främst är det den expeditionära förmåga som Sverige profilerat alltsedan det kalla krigets slut som ligger till grund för denna exemplifiering.Frågan uppstår då huruvida den svenska marinen fortfarande kan ses vara det utmärkande exemplet efter det att fokus nu skiftat tillbaka till en mer nationellt präglad försvarsinriktning. Därutöver ställs frågan om vilka styrkor och svagheter en dylik kategorisering av världens sjömakter kan ha.Utifrån en analys av Tills kategoriseringar som idealtyper, så har dessa i allt väsentligt visat sig vara de förenklande och täckande rubriceringar som idealtypsmodellen syftar till. Därför har det även gått att identifiera tre indikatorer som medger en jämförelse mot den svenska marinen av idag för att utröna dess nuvarande status som post-modern sjömakt.Undersökningen har på så sätt lett till slutsatsen att den svenska marinen alltjämt kan kategoriseras som en post-modern marin, men av andra anledningar än den expeditionära förmågan.

Hysterektomi är idag en av de vanligaste operationerna som utförs på kvinnor, näst efter sectio både i Sverige som utomlands. Detta gör att kvinnors psykiska hälsa post hysterektomi är något som sjukvården bör ha kunskap om. Att genomföra en hysterektomi innebär att avlägsna uterus och de vanligaste anledningarna till att en hysterektomi genomförs är menorragi och kronisk smärta i pelvis.I huvudsak genomgår kvinnor en hysterektomi för att förbättra sin livskvalitet, det finns även andra anledningar till att genomföra en hysterektomi som cancer i uterus. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka om kvinnors upplevda psykiska hälsa förändras post hysterektomi. Studien är genomförd som en litteraturstudie där 13 vetenskapliga artiklar granskades.Resultatet visade att den upplevda livskvaliteten och hälsan ökade postoperativt.

Bergslagets museum is one of the oldest industrial museums in Sweden. It opened in 1922 in Falun, by the big mining company Stora Kopparbergs Bergslags Aktiebolag. This is a study of why a company would be interested in running a museum, why Bergslagets museum opened and who the people were that created it.Several persons were involved in collecting and organizing the models of old machinery, letters, paintings, pictures that was to become the Bergslagets museum. This paper shows different motives behind the opening of an industrial museum in Falun and gives a presentation of its superintendants, Carl Sahlin, Alvar Silow, Erik Johan Ljungberg and Olof Söderberg. Stress på arbetsplatsen relaterat till många inkommande och utgående kommunikationskanaler är ett reellt problem. Applikationer som samlar alla kanaler i samma verktyg kan hjälpa till på det här området. För att förenkla vid utveckling av en sådan applikation kan ett modulärt system skapas, där varje modul ser liknande ut och enkelt kan kopplas in i en huvudapplikation. Den här studien undersöker de problem som kan uppstå när flera tjänster ska integreras, mer specifikt genom att titta på hur en befintlig modul för e-post via Google Apps kan porteras för att stödja e-post via Microsoft Office 365. Arbetet har skett enligt metoder för testdriven portering och varje steg i porteringen har dokumenterats noggrant.

Vårt syfte är att undersöka huruvida det är möjligt att identifiera variabler som påverkar valet av kommunikationsmedia där kontexten utgörs av en affärsrelation. Vi strävar efter att i vår slutsats kunna presentera en viss vägledning i valet av kommunikationsmedia. I denna studie har ett kvalitativt angreppssätt använts. För att skapa en teoretisk förankring har vi behandlat relevant och aktuell litteratur bestående av i huvudsak vetenskapliga artiklar och böcker. Som metod för att besvara vårt syfte har vi även använt oss av intervjuer.

This study explores the effects of two different post-treatment methods on stain reduction in glazed creamware from the late 20th century. The objects stains have been characterized by type one and type two stains which is the result of prolonged contact with food residues, were subjected to the same initial stain reduction. The two post-treatment methods examined are soaking the objects in deionized water and surface rinsing with deionized water. The comparative analysis included photographs under normal and UV-light exposure to assess stain visibility, weight measurements before and after treatments to monitor the absorption and evaporation of liquids, and observations throughout the experiment. The results revealed that while type two stains showed significant alterations after treatments, specifically after soaking, type one stains remained unaffected by both methods.
