The purpose of this study is to examine discourses about norms and norm criticism regarding sex/gender and sexuality in preschool teachers? and nursery nurses? speech using a post-structuralist perspective. My two research questions are:How do the educators describe norms in general and norms about sex/gender and sexuality in relation to their work?How do the educators describe their work with norm criticism in relation to norms about sex/gender and sexuality?The theoretical base of this thesis is feminist post-structuralism and queer theory. Qualitative interviews were used as method to gather material and then a form of discourse analysis was made based on the transcribed interviews.

Vattenfall AB is a large producer of electric energy where approximately half of the energy comes from hydropower. Vattenfall Hydropower has got almost a 100-year old history and the company has developed a lot since 1909. After that the number of power plants increased and the competition got more intense, there were higher demands on the reliability. One way to secure the reliability with a good satisfaction at the power plants is to implement a maintenance method named Reliability-Centred Maintenance. RCM is a result of the introduction of the complex aeroplane Boeing 747 in the 1960?s.

EU i nyheterna : En diskursanalys om EU och EU:s anseende i det svenska medieutbudet

The purpose of this essay is to analyze the EU discourse in the Swedish media. The questions that the analysis seeks to answer are; what image of EU is portrayed in the Swedish media? To which degree does the EU discourse fulfill media?s ?news values?? And what are the potential effects of the discourse on EU?s reputation? After several demarcations, I chose 8 articles form Sweden?s four largest newspapers to base the analysis on.    The theoretical and methodical structure behind this analysis is the theories and practices of Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis. Added to the theoretical structure are also theories about reputation and theories about news values. The method used in the analysis is a modified version of Fairclough?s three-dimensional model of critical discourse analysis.

The aim of this thesis is to use Gabriel Tardes theories concerning imitation, repetition and the public opinion as a way of understanding how transmedial communication develops over time. This involves a study of social media, traditional press and public organizations in relation to each other. The campaign, What are you doing? (Vad håller du på med?, 2013), launched by the Swedish military as a way of drafting more soldiers, is used as an example of how the theories can be applied to help us understand connections, patterns and social behavior in the rapid mutation and viral spreading of information. By discussing the campaign and its effects, the ambition is to give an understanding of how a campaign of this scale could be planned for and structured.

We intend to increase the understanding of talent management by highlighting various strategies to retain and develop employees.Methodology: The study has been carried out with a qualitative approach through a case study in cooperation with a large organization within the public sector in Sweden. Empirical material has been collected through semi-structured interviews with all the divisional managers. An extensive analysis of literature and research connected to Talent Management and tools for retention and development has formed the basis of the theoretical framework.Result and Conclusion: The conclusions we have drawn from this study is that to succeed with Talent Management, and the strategies that are in place to retain and develop employees, there must be an integral and comprehensive approach where business strategy and vision also permeates personnel strategy.

Den gröna myten : En kommuns strategiska arbete mot hållbarhet, samarbetsanda och affärsmöjligheter

Our aim is to create a greater understanding for how Växjö Municipality is working with their vision, strategy and brand, and also how it is perceived by the business sector. This understanding will help us to highlight success factors and pitfalls that exist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of a municipality?s identity, image and profile to convince the business sector to follow.Methodology: We have been using an abductive and qualitative research-method in which semi-structured interviews have been the basis of our empirical material. We had interviews with three employees, a communication manager and the mayor at Växjö Municipality as well as four organizations and two companies with sustainable focus. We did this to get different perspectives and thereby get a greater understanding.Analysis & conclusion: We have been able to identify both success factors and pitfalls in Växjö Municipality's strategic sustainability work.

I den här C-uppsatsen har vi på uppdrag av Eskilstuna Energi och Miljö undersöktderas informationsflöde till privatkunder. Syftet med undersökningen var att ta redapå hur bra deras olika informationskanaler fungerar. Vidare skulle vi ta reda på omnågra kanaler kunde tas bort eller om nya kanaler borde användas. Vi ville också fåen fingervisning på om Eskilstuna Energi och Miljös kärnvärden kommit fram ochmottagits av kunderna. En ytterligare fråga var vad respondenterna anser är viktigt iett informationsmaterial för att de ska uppmärksamma det.Vi valde att använda oss av fokusgrupper som en inledande metod för arbetet, föratt sedan, med dessa som grund, formulera frågor i en enkät som skickades ut tillnärmare 1 000 kunder.

The theoretical starting point is Weber's organization theory, Schein's organizational culture theory, and different definitions of leadership.

Syfte: Hur uppfattar elever att lärare använder datorn i undervisningen?Teori: Med en-till-en, den personliga datorn utmanas det traditionella lärandet. Ett digitaliserat lärande innebär att lärarna ska planera för lärande och inte för undervisning (Kroksmark, 2012).Metod: En kvalitativ intervjumetod, ostrukturerad intervju, användes för att samla in resultatet, som analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Fyra kategorier framkom: datorn i undervisningssammanhanget, instruktioner från lärare, elevernas interaktion med en-till-en och slutligen lärares bedömning av elevarbeten. Resultat: Studien visar att eleverna uppfattar att lärarna använder datorn till att visa film, visa Key-Notespresentationer vid genomgångar.

Urban forests are important for people to get at break and be able to relax in a stressful world. Several studies show that we feel better through being out in the forest and historically this was the normal environment for us. As a result of population growth and urbanization we tend to spend less time in nature nowadays than before. Due to this development urban forests have become a central role in our society as a place where people can fulfill their needs and interests. The management of the urban forest is therefore important, especially for municipalities that own forest which is supposed to be of benefit to local residents.Falköpings municipality owns approximately 260 hectares of forest in the popular and most visited recreational area along Mösseberg?s southern slope.

Budgeten som styrverktyg ? En studie av Blekingesjukhuset i Karlskrona och S:t Görans sjukhus i Stockholm

Vårt syfte är att undersöka om och hur budgetens roll skiljer sig åt mellan en offentlig och en privat hälso- och sjukvårdsorganisationer. Vi har baserat vår uppsats och våra slutsatser på intervjuer, som vi gjort på Blekingesjukhuset i Karlskrona och S:t Görans sjukhus i Stockholm. Vi har gjort intervjuer på fyra till fem olika nivåer i båda organisationerna, för att få ett djup i vår undersökning. Vi har kommit fram till att det finns stora skillnader mellan det offentliga sjukhuset och det privata sjukhuset. Den största skillnaden fann vi vara budgetuppföljningen, men att det inte finns någon större skillnad mellan sjukhusen på lägre nivå, däremot på högre nivåer kan vi urskilja relativt stora skillnader.

In the thesis, we study a big private healthcare company with an ambition to lead the development in the sector. In order to accomplish its goal, the company is trying to change the organization of managers.
