This thesis explores and compares the former armed opposition groups; Mozambique National Resistance (RENAMO), Front for the Liberation of Mozambique (FRELIMO) and South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) transformation processes into political parties. The first question addressed is; What factors determines the ability of these armed opposition groups to transform into political parties after armed conflict? The question is addressed through four structural and organizational factors; international involvement, the organizations ideology and identity, their ability to change inter-elite relationships and their ability to change collective incentive strategies. The second question addressed is if the transformations process can affect the parties? degree of institutionalization? The degree of institutionalization is examined through the party's adaptility, complexity, autonomy and coherence.

This essay contains a discoursive analysis of fifteen travel reports from five of the largest papers in Sweden. The travel reports contains recaptions from wildlife tourism experiences were the predators are the main target, or at least one of the main targets. Seven of the reports are from Sweden and eight of them from Russia, Rumania, Finland, Turkey and the United States. Predators in this essay aims to those in Sweden called ?the big five?, these are: bears, wolves, lynxes , wolverines and golden eagles.

Bakgrund:Hjärtinfarkt är den vanligaste orsaken till dödsfall i Sverige. Att drabbas av akut sjukdom är en kritisk upplevelse för både patient och närstående vilket leder till ett behov av stöd för hela familjen. Syfte: Att belysa den mentala hälsan hos personer som har drabbats av en hjärtinfarkt samt återhämtningsprocessen. Metod: Litteraturöversikt där vetenskapliga artiklar via databaserna Pubmed, Psykinfo och Cinahl granskats. Utifrån artikelgranskningen uppkom tre kategorier; Den mentala hälsan och reaktioner hos patienter som drabbats av hjärtinfarkt, Återhämtningsprocessen efter en hjärtinfarkt samt Sjukvårdens roll i återhämtningsprocessen.

The interest for food and cooking has probably never engaged the people of Sweden as much as it does today. Especially cookbooks are selling better than ever which has been a quite constant trend since the mid 90's. This study explores the connection between visual communication in Swedish cookbooks and the post-modern values which have influenced the market climate and the visual culture. I have used a theoretical framework as reference consisting of theories of semiotics, visual rhetoric, marketing communications and postmodernism. I have been studying six cookbooks, three from the late 00's and three from the early 90's, from the two separate angles of their graphic design and photographic material.

The aim of this essay is to examine what happens when Veronica Roths Divergent-trilogy is read with a lutheran theological pre-understanding. Using reader-response theory and lutheran theology written for and in a post-modern context, three lutheran figures of thought are presented as one way of understanding the trilogy. The conclusion is that it is possible to reveal lutheran ideas concerning justification, guilt, forgiveness, mercy and self-sacrificing love in the Divergent-story. .

The most common form of hair loss in young and old people is androgenic alopecia. Hereditary hair loss affects both men and women. Hereditary hair loss in some women begins at the age of 30, but as a rule hair loss begins in post-menopausal women. In women the hair thins out in an oval portion of the front part of the scalp. In men, hair loss can start as early as at the age of 20.

Bakgrund: I Sverige finns tre hjärttransplantationsenheter, dit patienter med svår hjärtsvikt remitteras för hjärttransplantationsutredning. Gemensamt för patienterna ar deras livshotandetillstånd. När den medicinska behandlingen inte längre har effekt är en hjärttransplantationden enda möjligheten till fortsatt liv. Under transplantationsutredningen penetreras patienternas fysiska och psykiska tillstånd. För de flesta patienter är transplantationsutredningen och acceptansen for hjärttransplantation förenad med stress, oro och ångest.

Syftet med denna studie var, att utifrån vetenskaplig litteratur, beskriva vilka kunskaper vårdpersonalen har och vilka kunskaper de behöver om suicidalitet och suicidpreventiva åtgärder hos äldre. Syftet var även att granska de valda artiklarnas kvalitet avseende urvalsmetod. Metod: Denna studie är en beskrivande litteraturstudie med deskriptiv design. Femton vetenskapliga artiklar är hämtade från databaserna Cinahl/PubMed, och från referenslistor. Resultat: Suicidproblematiken är i högsta grad ett folkhälsoproblem.

En jämforelse mellan två olika typer av arbeten inom datorgrafik varav det ena är utfört på en mindre firma i Sverige som producerar spel för casinomarknaden medan det andra arbetet var utfört på ett stort postproduktionsföretag beläget i centrala London. Erlingsson, K & Lönn, M. Patientens perspektiv på egenvård relaterat till diabetes typ 2. En litteraturstudie. Examensarbete i omvårdnad 15 poäng. Malmö högskola: Hälsa och samhälle, Utbildningsområde omvårdnad 2010. Diabetes typ 2 är en sjukdom som helt eller delvis regleras genom egenvårdsåtgärder.

Anorexia nervosa är ett allvarligt tillstånd med hög dödlighet i långtidsuppföljningar. Trots detta finns i dagsläget ingen tydlig evidens vad gäller val av metod eller effektivitet när det gäller behandling för denna problematik. Föreliggande uppsats rapporterar preliminära resultat från en randomiserad kontrollerad studie av självhjälp med e-poststöd för individer med full och partiell anorexia nervosa. Syftet var att undersöka huruvida en behandling i självhjälpsformat som bygger på rekommenderade riktlinjer för vård av anorexia nervosa samt acceptance and commitment therapy är effektiv med avseende på beteende-, attityd- ochpersonlighetsvariabler relaterade till ätstörningsproblematik samt generella variabler som depression, självkänsla, tillfredställelse med livet och social anpassning. Under tidsperioden inkluderades 15 deltagare i studien och randomiserades till behandling(N=7) eller väntelista (N=8).

Syftet med vår uppsats är att utifrån svenska mindre aktiebolags, revisorers och expertorgans perspektiv redogöra för om förslagen i propositionen ?Förenklade redovisningsregler m.m.? och BFNs ?Allmänna råd för K2 - mindre aktiebolag? överensstämmer med vad de anser behöver förenklas. Syftet är också att redogöra för vilken funktion redovisningen har för de mindre aktiebolagen och vilka konsekvenser de föreslagna förenklingarna och förändringarna kan medföra. I uppsatsen tillämpar vi en abduktiv forskningsansats och har en intensiv utformning. Vi använder kvalitativ metod och har genomfört semi-strukturerade individuella intervjuer.

During the last century, it has expanded tothe Scandinavian Peninsula which is separated from continental Europe by the Baltic Sea.My aim was to test the hypothesis that individuals in isolated populations in Scandinaviaincluding Denmark and the Baltic Sea islands are smaller than individuals in thecontinuous part of its distribution due to low genetic diversity and lacking incoming geneflow.

Edward Said's book Orientalism (1978) is the most important reference point in the post-colonial theory and describes how the West is dominant over the Orient. There is a clear distinction between "us" and "the other" and the purpose of this study is that, from a postcolonial perspective, focusing on Said's theoretical concepts "the other" and "discourse", examining how two foreign-born people with ethnic backgrounds living in the same place, are looking at themselves, at other foreign-born and native Swedes. My questions to answer this are; ?what are the concepts of "the other" and "discourse" and is it possible to use these concepts to examine how foreign-born people are looking at themselves, at other foreign-born and native Swedes in a specific location??, ?who is "the other" in a place where there are almost as many native Swedes as foreign-born??, and ?how do these two foreign-born people with ethnic backgrounds perceive Norrliden as a place and what effect has that place had on their identity?? I have used a post-colonial philosophical ground and a qualitative approach, focusing on two different interviews with two men, living in Norrliden. In Norrliden almost 50% of the inhabitants are foreign-born were both of the interview-persons are feeling safe and secure.

Till min uppsats valde jag att koncentrera mig på två verk, Post Office och Factotum, av författaren Charles Bukowski (1920-1994). Huvudpersonen i båda romanerna kallas Henry Chinaski och är en mycket komplicerad karaktär.
