The study is aimed at investigating the Slovenian philosopher Slavoj ?i?eks theories ofthe ontology of the subject, the crisis of our modern society and his views on how theology,especially Christian theology, can provide the answer for the threats to our society.My main object is the article Descartes and the post-traumatic subject (2008)where ?i?ek elaborates thoughts about the subject and our capitalistic society. To be ableto grasp these thoughts in full I have undergone an investigation not only on the writingsof Slavoj ?i?ek, but also on the philosophers to whom he owe much of his theories,such as G.W.F. Hegel, Friedriech Schelling, Karl Marx and Jaques Lacan.In the study I have shown how the subject is, according to ?i?eks psychoanalytictheories, decentered.

Prosody is the melody and rhythm of speech and language. Prosodic ability is of great importance for communication, and has been shown to be affected in adults with acquired brain injury. Studies have shown that Swedish children with specific language impairment have prosodic  difficulties to a greater extent than e.g. English speaking peers. It is thereby possible that prosodic ability is more vulnerable also in Swedish speaking adults with acquired brain injury.The aim of the present study was to assess prosodic ability in adults with acquired brain injury, and to evaluate the prosodic assessment procedure that was used.

During 40 years of industrial production, from the end of the 1890?s until the end of 1930?s, coal and wood distillation products were manufactured in AB Carbo?s tar factory along the River Gimån in Grötingen, in the county of Jämtland, Sweden. In accordance with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency?s Methods for Inventories of contaminated sites, MIFO, the site in Grötingen has been identified as a potentially contaminated site. In order to determine whether toxic substances pose a threat to human health and ecological systems in the area, there was a need to investigate the presence of contaminants, their levels and potential for migration.

I dagens segregationsdiskurs läggs fokus ofta på de storskaliga miljonprogrammen. De människor som bor där beskylls ofta för att själva vara orsaken till segregationsproblemen. En vanlig uppfattning är att dessa människor genom egna val bidragit till de segregationsmönster vi har idag. Sällan belyses andra gruppers val som orsak till fenomenet. Miljonprogrammet uppfördes mellan 1965 och 1975 av den socialdemokratiska regeringen som en symbol för det moderna välfärdssamhället. Alla skulle formas till moderna människor.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine library users experience encountering exposed literature. Shops and stores expose the products they most of all want to sell, a kind of marketing strategy that influences our inclination to buy. By conducting a quantitative study, at two minor public libraries, and using theories from the marketing area this thesis intended to investigate the subject further. Eighty library visitors, between age 10 and XX filled out a questionnaire asking how the users experience or register exposed literature and what makes users borrow or not borrow exposed literature. The respondents find exposed literature helpful in directing them to new interesting suggestions of books they otherwise wouldn?t have borrowed.

Användandet av e-posthantering i arbetet har ökat kraftigt under de senaste årtiondena. Studier har visat att alltför hög grad av informationsflöde kan leda till minskad jobbtillfredsställelse och känslor av stress. Individer i chefsposition har rapporterats vara särskilt drabbade av detta informationsöverflöd och syftet med denna studie var att undersöka avdelningschefers upplevelser av e-posthanteringen i arbetet.En kvalitativ ansats har antagits i studien då verkligheten tolkas på olika sätt och en kvalitativ studies syfte är att förstå ämnet från intervjupersonernas subjektiva perspektiv. Urvalet till denna studie har gjorts strategiskt och valts till att bestå av fem personer; tre män och två kvinnor. Storleksmässigt var antalet intervjuade för få för att göra några könsjämförelser, vilket heller inte ingick i studiens syfte.

Syfte: Syftet med denna systematiska litteratur?versikt var att belysa kvinnors sexuella h?lsa efter bristning som uppst?tt i samband med vaginal f?rlossning. Metod: En systematisk litteratur?versikt med integrativ design har utf?rts.

The purpose of this study is to examine discourses about norms and norm criticism regarding sex/gender and sexuality in preschool teachers? and nursery nurses? speech using a post-structuralist perspective. My two research questions are:How do the educators describe norms in general and norms about sex/gender and sexuality in relation to their work?How do the educators describe their work with norm criticism in relation to norms about sex/gender and sexuality?The theoretical base of this thesis is feminist post-structuralism and queer theory. Qualitative interviews were used as method to gather material and then a form of discourse analysis was made based on the transcribed interviews.

The interest in providing a post 9/11 image of Islam to contrast the media?s frequent focus on its practitioners? alleged tendencies toward hostility and violence has in Sweden manifested itself (among other things) in an increased range of courses on Islam given by denominational Muslim organizations. In this paper I examine the construction of Islam by two Muslim organizations that offer education in Islam to non-Muslims in the context of the management?s stated goals of the education. My aim is to illustrate how discourses within these organizations are a result of the combination of local and global conditions..

I den här C-uppsatsen har vi på uppdrag av Eskilstuna Energi och Miljö undersöktderas informationsflöde till privatkunder. Syftet med undersökningen var att ta redapå hur bra deras olika informationskanaler fungerar. Vidare skulle vi ta reda på omnågra kanaler kunde tas bort eller om nya kanaler borde användas. Vi ville också fåen fingervisning på om Eskilstuna Energi och Miljös kärnvärden kommit fram ochmottagits av kunderna. En ytterligare fråga var vad respondenterna anser är viktigt iett informationsmaterial för att de ska uppmärksamma det.Vi valde att använda oss av fokusgrupper som en inledande metod för arbetet, föratt sedan, med dessa som grund, formulera frågor i en enkät som skickades ut tillnärmare 1 000 kunder.

Syfte: Hur uppfattar elever att lärare använder datorn i undervisningen?Teori: Med en-till-en, den personliga datorn utmanas det traditionella lärandet. Ett digitaliserat lärande innebär att lärarna ska planera för lärande och inte för undervisning (Kroksmark, 2012).Metod: En kvalitativ intervjumetod, ostrukturerad intervju, användes för att samla in resultatet, som analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Fyra kategorier framkom: datorn i undervisningssammanhanget, instruktioner från lärare, elevernas interaktion med en-till-en och slutligen lärares bedömning av elevarbeten. Resultat: Studien visar att eleverna uppfattar att lärarna använder datorn till att visa film, visa Key-Notespresentationer vid genomgångar.

The task for this thesis is to design a tool that is used to cut-out preforms of thermoplastic adhesive and also to make an estimate of costs for the stamping tool. The tool is used in the repair process at the MCM production line. The result of gathered information has affected how the design of the stamping tool has developed. The handling of thermoplastic adhesive in the repair process is one of the factors that influenced the design. The adhesive is sensitive for exposure to moisture. Therefore an automated feeding system of the adhesive is not recommended. The users wished for an automated stamping tool.
