This study aims to deepen the understanding of how belonging and community is created in one of the aesir faith communities in Sweden. The study examines the aesir faith communities ability to develop the community members religious identity as well as their understanding of the importance of cultural heritage and how it affects the members in their practices of their aesir faith. The main argument in this study is that cultural heritage creates a sense of community that makes the members want to stay and develop their religious identity together with the other members of the aesir faith community. I have used cultural heritage, symbols and rituals, belonging, community and religious identity as concepts in order to answer my research questions. The methods used in this study are participant observation during the group's public activities, as well as interviews with the members of the aesir faith community in order to confirm the analysis I made during the participant observation.

Arbetets syfte har varit att undersöka etableringen av konstnärsduon Elmgreen & Dragset och hur de med konstverket The Award (2014) utmanat den sociala hierarkin i det konstnärliga fältet. Genom Erwin Panofskys analysmodell i ikonologi har arbetet undersökt hur konstverket innefattar en kritisk handling. Metoden har varit att med ett konstsociologiskt perspektiv undersöka vilken typ av position konstnärsduon etablerat sig i det konstnärliga fältet samt hur de utmanat en överordnad position i samma fält. Metoden har även varit att undersöka hur den kritiska handlingen kan förstås som ett sätt att upprätthålla en avantgarde-position. Arbetet visade hur Elmgreen & Dragset etablerat en paradoxal avantgarde-position.

The purpose of this thesis was to illuminate and create a deeper understanding of how small niche retail businesses within the apparel industry position themselves. We aimed to investi-gate how these small niche retail businesses create their position and how they communicate these positions to their target market. To be able to investigate the positioning-process within these small niche retail businesses a case study was conducted based on interviews with two respondents from two different companies and observations of these businesses physical envi-ronments. The study indicated that the small niche retail businesses mainly make use of emo-tional aspects and their assortment range to create their position. The intention of this essay is to inquire into the (re-)constitution of gendered/sexed identities in a gothicistic discourse. The used material is the work Atlantica, chapter 5, vol. 2, written by the Swedish historian/Medical professor Olof Rudbeck. I have chosen this chapter for its description of mythological characters relationship with the earth, the sun and the moon. A description based on a concept of strength and reproduction as gendered characteristics.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om korttidsminnet (arbetsminnet) och dess kapacitet att lagra och processa information. Ett perceptionsexperiment som utfördes ger en inblick i hur korttidsminnet fungerar i praktiken och innefattar randmönster och ovaler som stimuli. Responstid och precision mäts och jämförs med avseende på betingelser som position och orientering. Uppsatsens hypotes är att samma respektive olika position på stimuli har betydelse för både snabbhet och precision. Resultatet bekräftade denna hypotes.

The environmental requirements and laws on combustion engine emissions are very tough today andthey will become even more stringent in the future. To achieve these requirements there are highdemands on the control systems for these engines. An improved precision in the measurement of anengine's speed and position gives the electronic control system an even better timing when it comes tofuel injection and ignition. This makes the engine more fuel efficient, reducing the emissions. This thesisis part of a collaborative project between Hoerbiger Control Systems and subsidiaries.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen har varit att undersöka sambandet mellan socioekonomisk position i vuxen ålder och ohälsa när man blir äldre och om detta eventuella samband beror på att personerna hade sämre hälsa tidigare i livet, samt att undersöka hur hälsa och socioekonomisk position är relaterat till förändring i hälsa över tid. Mått på socioekonomisk position i den här undersökningen har varit socialklass, utbildningsnivå och kontantmarginal. Ohälsa har mätts genom fyra index; mobilitetsproblem, cirkulationsbesvär, värk i rörelseorganen samt psykisk ohälsa. För att genomföra studien har ett nationellt representativt datamaterial från Levnadsnivåundersökningen (LNU) år 1968 och 1981 och undersökningen om äldres levnadsvillkor, SWEOLD, år 1992, 2002 och 2004 använts. Datamaterialet har möjliggjort för en kvantitativ longitudinell studie där respondenterna har kunnat följas från vuxen ålder till efter pensionsåldern, en period på över 20 år.

This report describes the design and construction of a prototype that automatically aims a microwave link towards a target. The link, that is located on a mobile aerial mast, is used by Saab Training Systems as a part of an infrastructure network. The report also discusses the development of a GUI that communicates with the control unit by Bluetooth.The control unit, called Pan/Tilt-controller, controls the position of the link by stepping motors. One motor controls the azimuth angle and the other one controls the elevation angle.By a GUI the operator enters the coordinates on its own position and the targets position. Hereafter a bearing is calculated and it will be sent up to the control unit.The control unit will sense its own direction by a magnetic sensor that works as an electronic compass.

Under de senaste decennierna har föräldrar blivit allt mer delaktiga i sina barns skolgång (Erikson 2004), vi har intresserat oss för om detta fenomen gör sig gällande även då åtgärdsprogram upprättas. Syftet med denna studie är därmed att studera föräldrars delaktighet i utformande och genomförande av åtgärdsprogram. Utifrån detta syfte har följande forskningsfrågor formulerats: a) I vilken utsträckning är föräldrar närvarande då åtgärdsprogram utformas? b) Vilken position tilldelas föräldrar i åtgärdsprogram? c) Vad säger denna position om föräldrars delaktighet i utformande och genomförande av åtgärdsprogram? Studien har utförts som en fallstudie vid en grundskola. Huvudmetoden har varit dokumentanalys och analysmaterialet bestod av åtgärdsprogram för elever i år 8 och 9, vilka avslutats mellan år 2000 och 2006.
