The subject of this thesis is the position of the story or activity rooms at the main libraries in SkÄne, a province in the south of Sweden. The questions that are asked and answered are: Which of the main libraries has a story room? What do the rooms look like? How are the rooms used? Which is the relation between the form and the function of the rooms? and, finally, How do the libraries themselves present and describe their story rooms?.

Med utgÄngspunkt i FN:s MillenniemÄl om att stÀrka kvinnors position och öka jÀmstÀlldheten har jag undersökt hur detta kan appliceras pÄ det svenska samhÀllet. Denna uppsatsen handlar om fyra kvinnor pÄ universitetet. Fokus ligger pÄ dessa kvinnors syn pÄ utbildning, stereotyper, val av partner och yrkeslivet, detta diskuteras sedan utifrÄn olika genus- och jÀmstÀlldhetsteorier.  .

This study considers HĂ€rskarringen (1959?61), a Swedish translation of J. R. R. Tolkien?s The Lord of the Rings (1954?55), within the framework of translation studies and the description of norms within different fields of translation.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka maktrelationen mellan elever i idrottsundervisningen. Detta görs för att fÄ en bild av hur elevers interagerande skapar olika maktpositioner samt för att fÄ en bild av hur maktutövandet tar sig uttryck. Den första av de tvÄ frÄgestÀllningar som vi utgÄtt frÄn lyder: Vilka tekniker och strategier för maktutövande kommer till uttryck i elevernas interagerande med varandra under idrottslektionerna? Den andra frÄgestÀllningen Àr: Vilka olika roller, sÄ kallade subjektspositioner, skapas av eleverna i maktrelationen dem emellan?Som teoretisk bakgrund ligger bland annat Foucaults teori om makt. Med grund i denna har vi utgÄtt frÄn att idrottsanlÀggningen och idrottsundervisningen Àr en sÀrskild kontext som ger utrymme för vissa handlingar.

The aim of this study is to investigate methods of collection development, the users? influence on selection and quality aspects, focusing on non-fiction literature in Swedish public libraries. To find out opinions of collection development, I use the method comparative literature study. Antonio Gramsci?s concept hegemony forms the theoretical background, and hegemony as concept is related to a library context by using Maj Klasson?s text on the librarians? different positions of authorities.

This thesis includes a mechanical engineering design work performed incollaboration between ÅF and Halmstad University. The work is done by FredyOlsson?s methods of Principle- and Primary Construction and David Ullman?stheories of Design for Assembly.The group was commissioned by ÅF to produce a concept to narrow down theassembly time of today?s luggage doors by reducing the numbers of adjustmentoptions. They also wanted it to be easier to mount the assembly by making itpossible to adjust the door in a closed position. Today luggage door takes, with its10 adjustment possibilities, around 4 hours each to assemble and ÅF wanted anassembly time around 10 minutes per door.Initially a preliminary study was made where the group began reviewing today'sconstruction and mounting of rails and doors on buses.

Uppsatsen har som syfte att beskriva och analysera hur arbetsledarens krav, kontroll och uppfattning om arbetstagarens kunskap, sett frÄn arbetsgivarens samt arbetstagarens perspektiv. Att analysera och förstÄ skillnader i tÀnkande inom Ätta utvalda branscher. Det valda syftet kommer att studeras genom kvalitativ metod, intervjuer med de Ätta informanterna. Problemet som har gett upphov till det valda Àmnet Àr sÄ i vilken grund finns dÀr kunskap och förstÄelse för vilken eller vilka betydelser, krav, kontroll och kommunikation har för en arbetsledare? FörstÄelsen för det valda problemet har uppkommit vid vÄra, författarnas, egna ledarskapsstudier. Denna position har frÄn oss skapats en bild av att vara en vÀldigt utsatt position bÄde frÄn underperspektivet men tillika frÄn överperspektivet.

Bakgrund och syfte: Det Àr viktigt för ett företag idag att hitta en position pÄ marknaden som fungerar i ett lÄngsiktigt perspektiv. Dessutom gÀller det för företaget att pÄ ett tydligt sÀtt positionera sin produkt eller sitt varumÀrke i kundernas medvetande. Ett företag som inte Àr nöjd med positioneringen kan vÀlja, eller Àr tvunget, att ompositionera.Vi har studerat fastighetsföretaget Norrviddens arbete med ompositioneringar av tvÄ varumÀrken, galleriorna Flanör i GÀvle och In: i Sundsvall. Syftet Àr att undersöka nÀr och varför ett företag Àr i behov av att ompositionera sitt varumÀrke eller sin produkt samt att beskriva hur processen kan gÄ till. HuvudfrÄgorna uppsatsen behandlar Àr:- Varför genomför ett företag en ompositionering av ett varumÀrke?- Vilka strategier kan ett företag anvÀnda sig av vid en ompositionering?- Hur kan en ompositioneringsprocess gÄ till?Metod: Vi har gjort en fallstudie dÀr vi har arbetat med ett induktivt angreppssÀtt med utgÄngspunkt i empirin.

Saab Aerosystems has a long tradition and a lot of competence in the field of flight simulation. Their ambition to broaden the market horizon has led to a discussion about also selling vehicle simulation solutions, both for military and civilian use.The aim of this thesis is to investigate the driver?s experiences of the accelerations he or she is exposed to whilst driving in rough terrain. The results may be used as a basis for future decisions and can act as a platform for the construction of an effective simulation model.To investigate the driver?s exposure of acceleration, some kind of dynamic simulation is needed.

IntroductionSuccessful training is a key for athletes to make progress in their development. Training must not just involve overload, but also must prevent the combination of excessive overload plus inadequate recovery. Athletes can experience short-term performance decrement without severe psychological or lasting other negative symptoms. Too much hard exercise or too little sleep can cause overtraining, a condition in which the subject can prevent to be away from the sport for several weeks or months. Previous studies have detected that it is important to avoid overtraining.

Det problem som denna uppsats behandlar Àr vilka faktorer som Àr avgörande för att medelstora möbelföretag kan bibehÄlla sin position pÄ dagens förÀnderliga marknad.Svenska möbelkedjor befinner sig idag i en situation dÄ de Àr chanslösa gentemot den marknadsledande aktören. Samtidigt har fler nya mindre företag, som tydligt nischat sig pÄ design dykt upp pÄ marknaden. De medelstora möbelkedjorna vÀnder sig till ett stort kundsegment och erbjuder ett brett sortiment. Det betyder att de medelstora möbelföretagen har kommit i klÀm, dÄ de inte kan konkurrera med marknadsledaren om priset och inte heller med designen, som de nischade möbelbutikerna erbjuder.Undersökningen handlar om hur dagens medelstora möbelkedjeföretag ska kunna stÄ sig i den ovan beskrivna konkurrenssituation dÄ de medelstora möbelföretagen mÄste finna nya sÀtt för att överleva pÄ den svenska möbelmarknaden.Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att analysera och utvÀrdera vad tvÄ medelstora och tvÄ mindre möbelföretag stÄr för, samt vad konsumenter idag efterfrÄgar vid möbelköp för att pÄ sÄ vis tydliggöra de faktorer som Àr betydande för en bibehÄllen position pÄ marknaden.Undersökningen har genomförts med hjÀlp av personliga intervjuer med representanter frÄn de utvalda företagen samt genom en enkÀtundersökning bland konsumenter. Teorierna som ligger till grund för genomförandet av denna uppsats behandlar frÀmst relationsinriktade och vÀrdeskapande strategier.

The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze laws that completely prohibit abortion through a legal philosophical perspective. To demonstrate that abortion blanket bans cannot be seen as legally legitimate, the author has completed a literature study where she uses Robert Alexy?s ?Concept of Law? to analyze abortion laws both in general, and in Nicaragua in particular.Based upon Alexy?s ?Concept of Law? the author has identified three relevant key elements ? social efficacy, the argument from injustice and correctness of content - which she uses in her analysis. In order to apply these three elements on the total abortion ban, she then uses four different analysis tools - feminist theory, Human Rights, deontology analysis and right analysis. This has enabled a thorough analysis of the total ban on abortion that has demonstrates that such laws cannot be considered legitimate.By highlighting the human rights violations the law entails, one can conclude that the law has a social impact.

Uppsatsen Àr en jÀmförande studie av kvinnors livsvillkor och förmÄga att undkomma fattigdom i de tvÄ indiska delstaterna Kerala och Punjab. BÄda delstaterna har höjt den allmÀnna levnadsstandarden i befolkningen men haft olika framgÄng i att fÄ dessa att tillkomma kvinnor. Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att undersöka dels kvinnors livsvillkor och dels vilka faktorer som pÄverkar dessa i delstaterna. Metoden har bestÄtt av kvalitativ textanalys. Vidare har statistik frÄn UNDP anvÀnts.

The following text constitutes an attempt to present the French philosopher Gilbert Simondon's genetic ontology through an account of his reconfiguration of the problem of individuation in his doctoral thesis from 1958, L'individuation à la lumiÚre des notions de forme, information, potentiel, métastabilité. The intention is to show how Simondon through this reconfiguration of a classical philosophical problem ? in which concepts and schemas from contemporary physics and technology is utilised in a critique of the bi-polar hylomorphic schema as its traditional, substantialistic solution ? becomes able to articulate an anti-substantialistic and anti-reductionistic ontogenesis as first philosophy. A systematic philosophical conception that according to Simondon precedes every critical investigation of the subject as well as every scientific ontology ? not by establishing a pre-critical position, but by exceeding Kant's critical position: that is, through a displacement toward a conception of the transcendental conditions for the genesis of being and thought as real conditions, rather than conditions of mere possibility.

It has been argued that the ?War on Drugs? has done more harm than good and in some American states and a number of European countries the drug have been legalized or decriminalized. Everybody does not agree however, that legalization is the best course of action and in Sweden the emotions have sometimes run high in the discussions taking place in television shows and newspapers.The purpose of this study is to examine the image media portrays of cannabis; based on the theory that mass media is an important influence on the individual and the way in which he or she views the world. To put the result into a context the Swedish media image will be compared with the one in Denmark and Norway.
