The aim of the literature review was to illuminate the importance of nutritional management to patients who have sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and describe nurses responsibility and meaningful function in the nutritional support. TBI patients tend to be associated with hypermetabolism and hypercatabolism, resulting in negative nitrogen balances. The results reveal increased energy expenditure and assessments of needs energy requirements at the TBI patients. This study determining the route of feeding: enteral versus parenteral nutrition. Furthermore describes complications associated with enteral feeding.

This thesis seeks to point out the relevance of gender in the construction of leadership in order to get a deeper understanding of the Japanese women?s situation today.

Studiens syfte är att beskriva arbetsledares/samtalsledares upplevelser av vilka faktorer som kan underlätta eller försvåra för att samförstånd kan uppnås i ett utvecklingssamtal. Studien har genomförts utifrån en kvalitativ metod där sex semi-strukturerade intervjuer med arbetsledare inom en offentlig verksamhet ligger till grund för empirin. Resultatet visar på fyra huvudfaktorer som anses påverka samförståndet i utvecklingssamtalet. Beroende på om man som samtalsledare upplever dessa faktorer som underlättande eller försvårande för samförståndet, påverkas detta av om man som arbetsledare är individ- eller verksamhetsinriktad. Tre av huvudfaktorerna anses underlätta att samförstånd uppnås i utvecklingssamtalet.

The purpose with this study was to find out about the preschool toddler?s peer-cultures. I also wanted to understand how these peer-cultures were shown.My questions are as following:What is it that the children interpretive and reproduce in their play?How do children gain access to play?How do children exclude each other?What position of status can be seen in children´s play?I used observations as the method to find the answer to these questions. These observations where implemented during five occasions at two different preschools.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur chefens identitet diskursivt konstrueras i tidningen Chef under perioden 2011-2013 genom att urskilja de diskurser och subjektspositioner som finns i tidningen. Utifrån diskursteori analyseras hur tidningen genom språket konstruerar chefensidentiteten och vilka retoriska tekniker som används för att nå fram till läsaren. Jag kunde urskilja två diskurser som i sin tur erbjöd fyra subjektspositioner. De övergripande diskurserna var den humanistiska diskursen och den affärsmässiga diskursen och de fyra subjektspositionerna benämns medmänniskan, inspiratören, den starke och den affärsmässige. Med detta som utgångspunkt diskuteras hur chefens identitet konstrueras i tidningen Chef samt hur de båda diskurserna påverkar chefen och dess position gentemot organisationen och medarbetarna..

Jag har valt att göra en undersökning om mans- och kvinnoroller i amerikanska actionfilmer från femtiotalet fram till tvåtusentalet. Främst har jag fokuserat mig på kvinnans position i dessa filmer och gjort en återkommande jämnförelse med den amerikanska hemmafrun som ett begrepp på femtiotalet. Jag har gjort en innehållsanalys på tretton stycken filmer mellan perioden 1952-2005. Dessa filmer har jag valt ut då det finns ett tydligt samspel mellan män och kvinnor i dem och att framför allt att kvinnan har en aktiv del och är betydande för historien.Jag har i dessa analyser kommit till slutsatsen att kvinnliga karaktärer i actionfilmer fått större utrymme att spela på allt eftersom tiden går och att bilden för vad som är manligt och kvinnligt ändrats genom perioden. Men att den kvinnliga actionhjälten alltid kan spåras tillbaka till den amerikanska hemmafrun på femtiotalet..

This study examines four short stories- ?Gudarnes like?, ?Vänner?, ?Lolo? and ?Kvinnor? - in a novel called Upptäckter written by Ulla Bjerne in 1918. My aim has been to study whether Bjerne in these stories writes from a New Woman- position. The New Woman novel as a genre flourished around the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. I have also studied whether Bjerne in these short stories uses a melodramatic style.

The competition policy in the EU should guarantee that the competition is not distorted in a way that would prevent or create difficulties for the free mobility of goods and services between the member countries. The policy of competition should also guarantee that no new protectionistic obstacles will be formed, regardless of if it is being done by actions taken by member countries or as a result of actions taken by companies in order to set limits to the competition. Companies putting to an abuse their dominant position on the common market, or on a substantial part of it, is irreconcilable with the idea of the common market in case it could interfere with the trading between member countries, and is thus prohibited.
