In today?s society a large focus is put on energy systems and how our energy systems are built up. In order to make sure that we in the future still can enjoy the living standards that we are used to today, Sweden and EU have made a number of decisions on making our energy system more energy efficient and consequently reduce the usage of energy resources. By 2020 the European Union should have reduced its energy consumption by 20 % compared to 1990?s level, and by 2050, 50%.

Utifrån tidigare forskning om och utvärderingar av musikämnets ställning i lärarutbildningen är syftet med förestående uppsats att ytterligare belysa musikämnets situation i den svenska lärarutbildningen såsom den manifesterar sig i kursplanerna på högskolor och universitet. Föremål för analys är samtliga lärarutbildningars kursplaner i det allmänna utbildningsområdet (AUO), som tillsammans med den nationella kursplanen i musik (Kp2000) utgör underlag för besvarandet av forskningsfrågan ?På vilket sätt förbereds lärarstudenter för musikundervisning enligt Kp2000??. Ur ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv genomförs analysen baserad på fyra sökord; ?Musik?, ?Estetik?, ?Musisk? samt ?Konstnärlig?, ord hämtade ur den presenterade kontexten kring analysobjekten.

Syftet med min undersökning var att få svar på hur Armémuseum i Stockholm representerar temat krig i basutställningen och hur museipersonalen förhåller sig till denna representation. Jag önskade även veta vad för sorts kulturarv Armémuseums anställda ansåg vara problematiskt att presentera.Jag intervjuade fyra personer från Armémuseum och via metoden ?thick description? och Aronssons flanörperspektiv som grundar sig i promenadetnografin, gjort utförliga anteckningar av mina observationer från deras basutställning. Studien grundar sig i ett musei- och kulturarvsvetenskapligt perspektiv, där studier om hur kulturarv presenteras på museer är ett vanligt ämne. Mina teoretiska grundpelare har bland annat varit Gregory Ashworth, Sharon MacDonald, Laurajane Smith, Rihannon Mason och Peter Aronsson som alla menar att synen och bearbetningen av mörkt kulturarv påverkas av politiska värderingar, tiden och hur det framställs på museer.Resultatet av studien kommer fram till att Armémuseums anställda vill förmedla att krig är hemskt och som ofta går hand i hand med lidande, död och orättvisor.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine the relationship between feelings and visualizations of climate change. A case study was done on visualizations of climate change from a web page concerning climate change published by the Swedish newspaper Expressen and from the American photographer Gary Braasch?s web page ?World view of global warming?. The thesis is based on the article ?Emotional anchoring and objectification in the media reporting on climate change? by Birgitta Höijer.

The purpose of the Sharing Economy is to exploit unused resources between people, as an alternative to buying new and owning themselves (Gansky, 2010). Gansky (2010) argues that a major reason why the Sharing Economy has grown in recent times is, besides from the recession and people?s increased environmental awareness, the urbanization which has made people move closer to each other and in to the big cities. This in addition to an increased use of GPS technology in smartphones enables people to be constantly connected to an ever-changing network. People now share and exchange services and products from each other.

Att utföra kostnadskalkyler och mängdavtagningar utifrån objektbaserade 3D-modeller har visat sig vara problematiskt då modellerna inte uppfyller de förväntade kraven på informationsnivå. De bristande modellerna leder till en större osäkerhet då kalkylatorn skall upprätta kostnadskalkyler, vilket utgör bakgrunden till de frågeställningar som rapporten utgörs av.Projektet Biomedicum, som skall bli det toppmoderna laboratoriet åt Karolinska Institutet bedrivs som ett fullskaligt BIM-projekt, där de objektbaserade 3D-modellerna utgör underlaget för bland annat kostnadskalkyler i systemhandlingsskedet. Kalkylatorn i projektet, har uttryckt ett missnöje gällande kvaliteten i modellerna, och menar på att det finns stora brister som leder till att risken för att osäkra kalkyler upprättas ökar. Denna rapport kommer således att se över hur det är möjligt att kvalitetssäkra en objektbaserad 3D-modell i IFC-format i programvaran Solibri Model Checker, utifrån de projektspecifika kraven som råder i projektet.Rapporten utgörs av en fallstudie och en litteraturstudie, och till viss del även av intervjuer. I fallstudien undersöks det om Solibri Model Checker är kapabel till att kontrollera modellerna utifrån de projektspecifika krav som råder i projektet, samt att analysera resultatet av kontrollerna som har utförts.

The increased interest in relationship marketing and the potential of the Internet as a platform for relationship building activities have given rise to new ways for companies to interact with their customers, such as services based on a freemium pricing model. Based on the premise that relationships are processes consisting of interactive moments of value-creating activities, value is considered subjective, relative and dependent on the context in which the activity takes place. Value is therefore variable given its context and cannot be pre-defined without nuances being lost. Despite the Internet's given role in societal development, our understanding of what contributes to customers' intentions to build relationships with online services is yet to mature.As the music industry is well established on the Internet, alongside the change in how music is consumed, it is thus appropriate to examine activities in accordance with a freemium based service that distributes music online, since it still lacks in academic understanding.This study aims to provide insights about virtual relations and how online services that provide cultural content should relate to there users as well as contributing to the ongoing academic discussion regarding value and how it is manifested by highlighting contextual impact on relational activities. For a rapprochement of relations to online services in cultural industries, this study assumed a practice perspective.

A reward cycle for investigating the emotional status in animals has been developed and it requires that animals go through three main phases, i.e. anticipation, consumption and relaxation. The reward cycle has not been tested previously for access to play in pigs. Therefore, the aim of this Master thesis was to investigate if growing pigs showed more behaviours indicative of excitement than pigs that were not allowed to play, performed play in a play arena and showed more behaviours indicative of relaxation after play when they were back to their home pen than pigs that were in their home pen the whole time. Forty undocked piglets (10 litters of Specific Pathogen Free half pure-bred Yorkshire and half hybrids of Yorkshire x Landrace balanced for breed between two treatments were used.

Husqvarna AB operates two warehouses located in the area of Jönköping. The most important task is to manage the large volume fluctuations during the peak season. DHL Exel Supply Chain (DESC) run the warehouses and the domestic transportations is outsourced to DHL Express. A number of forwarder agents are responsible for distributing the export gods. In the present situation a bottleneck occurs at the warehouse loading section, and the consequence is fulfill the time of delivery for all customer orders.

Equality between men and women has as an ideal won an increasing impact on the contemporary Swedish society and has established as a factor influencing all areas of society from politics to business and private life. The focus of this essay is to explore the impact of equality on hegemonic masculinity and relations of masculinities. The aim of the essay has moreover been to investigate the consequences of an increased focus on men and critique of masculinity due to a growing influence of feminism and women?s movement in Sweden. The study is based on interviews with four members of staff working in a men?s clinic for sexual and reproductive health in Stockholm, Järva Mansmottagning.

Whiplash is a bodily injury, where the person that is injured is subjected to force towards the neck, mainly in traffic accidents. Even low speed accidents can cause severe damage due to the complicated muscle and nerve structure of the neck. Symptoms range from neck aches and headaches to numb fingers and this makes the Whiplash injury difficult to diagnose. Whiplash is also a treacherous injury due to the fact that the symptoms can not be objectively verified. The principal symptom of the injury is pain, which is to its nature highly subjective.
