Report writers (sv rapporteringsverktyg) används för att skapa och hantera databasbaserade rapporter. Detta examensarbete handlar om Reporting Services, ett helt nytt rapporteringsverktyg från Microsoft. Syftet med examensarbetet var att utvärdera Reporting Services för att se vad verktyget har att erbjuda i förhållande till rapporteringsverktyg från andra tillverkare. En jämförelse mellan Reporting Services och rapporteringsverktyg från tre andra betydande tillverkare har gjorts. En djupare utvärdering av Reporting Services, där arkitektur, funktionalitet och andra egenskaper gåtts igenom grundligt, har också genomförts.

The purpose of this master thesis is to find out if library activities in civil society may be seen as a complement to public activities. The incitement lies in a discussion in the research activities of social sciences and among politicians, where the opinion is that civil society may function as a complement to governmental policy. The NGO-library Föreningen Miljöbiblioteket i Lund and the municipality of Malmö stad where chosen as units for examination. The common feature of the two units is the global task introduced by the UN, to create a sustainable development. The material used is exclusively concerning domestic information activities.

The purpose of this master`s thesis is to examine how the contemporary changes in society display itself in the network Ecumenical Forum of European Christian Women EFECW and to increase the understanding of networks. My main questions are: What does the networks structure look like? What does the networks relationships look like? How is identity created in the network and what types of identities is created? The objectives are reached by using two methods, qualitative inquiries and document analysis. The inquiries were carried out to nine members in the network of different countries. The theoretical framework of the thesis is Manuel Castells theories of the network society, and the study is also placed in context by a presentation of previous research on the field.

Går det att nå en association som skapar en känsla av betraktarens egen kropp? Jag har frågat mig om ett objekt kan upplevas kroppsligt och på vilket sätt jag kan hitta det i mitt material. Jag har varit upptagen av att hitta den punkt där materialets kvaliteter indirekt refererar till betraktarens kropp. Att i betraktandet framkalla erfarenheten i din kropp.Intuitivt har jag prövat mig fram, steg för steg - ett samarbete mellan min kropp och materialet tills materialet har blivit sin egen kropp - ett objekt. Jag arbetar i dialog med materialets natur; hur det följer tyngdlagen och påverkas av rummet och ljusets verkningar.

The society strives for sustainable development, in the construction industry it is expressed through sustainable building. Energy and LCC analyzes increases the ability to make conscious decisions in the process. A problem in the construction industry is that energy and LCC analysis is not used to the desired extent, as they are perceived as complicated and time consuming. The report aims to achieve a more sustainable building through increased use of energy and LCC analyzes.The goal is to show how BIM can be used to improve the efficiency of the energy and LCC analyzes.The study was conducted with a literature review and a case study to answer which information that is required in a BIM model to perform energy and LCC analyzes. The study also shows which software can be used in BIM based energy and LCC analyzes and how the analyzes can be carried out efficiently.The result shows that effective analyzes may be performed if the BIM-model contains the relevant information for making analyzes.

Examensarbetet har gjorts utifrån Arkitektkopia AB:s vägnar för att undersöka gränsvärden för bildupplösning inom digi-taltryck med bibehållen bildkvalitet. Detta för att om möjligt höja produktionshastigheten då en lägre bildupplösning ger en mindre filstorlek som går fortare att cmykseparera i RIP:en. Dessutom behövde Arkitektkopia AB en korrigering och uppdatering av sin dåvarande tabell för kundrekommendationer beträffande bildupplösning för olika format och betrakt-ningsavstånd. En visuell undersökning med Arkitektkopias kunder och privatpersoner har gjorts för att kunna fastställa riktvärden för bildupplösning och utröna toleransen för en godtagbar bildkvalitet. Resultaten utifrån kundundersökningen har legat till grund för den nya tabellen med kundrekommendationer som examensarbetet resulterat i.

The aim of this study is to analyze how problems are represented within SOU 2008:27. Further more, the aim is to analyze how the new subject plan for history can bee seen as a product of this document. The method used, and the theoretical frame of the study, is based on Carol Lee Bacchi?s ?what´s the problem represented to be?? approach, which basic principle is that policies are filled with representations of problems and that these representations need to be examined. These problem representations are then themselves subject for scrutiny, the second step being an analysis of the texts presumptions and assumptions concerning view of man and perception of knowledge. The results show, among other things, that a problem representations can be found in the SOU; the school system is too vague and unclear.

This paper is a discourse analytic policy study with the intention to investigate the swedish government's policy action plan against prostitution and trafficking for sexual purposes. The document is called Handlingsplan mot prostitution och människohandel för sexuella ändamål. The purpose of the study is to investigate whether there is a feminist gender understanding taking place in the action plan. This is made by both see how the problem of prostitution is produced partly by examining whether there is a gender-based power analysis in action. The research questions of this study are:What is considered being the problem with prostitution and trafficking fosexual purposes?Is there a feminist gender understandning in the government's prostitution politics?To answer these questions I use Carol Bacchis method Whats the problem represented to be? And the material being used is the government's actionplan.

Att göra böcker i digitala format är inte längre någon nyhet då det har förekommit länge. Den svenska marknaden har dock inte förflyttat fokus från den traditionella fysiska boken till de digitala formaten ännu. Den nya tekniken har potential att förändra marknaden och göra den mer kommersiell med fler alternativ till den traditionella boken och flera amerikanska storföretag har utvecklat affärsmodeller som utnyttjar detta. Den amerikanska försäljningen av e-böcker har under år 2012 gått om försäljningen för inbundna böcker. I Sverige var marknaden för e-böcker i början av 2012 inte större än 1,5 procent av bokmarknaden.För de svenska författare och bokförlag som vill utforska kommersiella strategier för utgivning av e-böcker står främst nordamerikanska och några få svenska företag till buds med olika alternativ för utgivningen.

Instagram lanserades i oktober 2010 och är en applikation där du med hjälp avkamerafunktionen på din mobiltelefon eller din surfplatta kan dela med dig av bilder.Instagram tillåter sina användare att ta en bild, redigera den, för att sedan dela med sigav bilden till sina följare. Syftet med denna studie är att ur ett socialpsykologisktperspektiv få förståelse för och kunskap om hur Instagram med dess format kan varaen del av identitetsskapande processer samt fungera som ett verktyg försjälvpresentation. Det empiriska materialet består av tio kvalitativa intervjuer medkvinnor i åldrarna 20-25 som är aktiva Instagram-användare. Det teoretiska ramverketbygger på Meads teorier om jaget, Asplunds teori om social responsivitet, Giddensteori om självet som ett reflexivt projekt samt begrepp från Goffmans dramaturgiskaperspektiv. Resultat från studien visar att Instagram kan tolkas som en plattform därjaget och identiteten kan konstrueras.

Following study is about the anorexic behavior and the pro-ana movement, which is a web-based subculture where the followers of this, stands for anorexia as an identity position and lifestyle, rather than a disease. The purpose of this study was that, from a sociological perspective give possible interpretations of the anorexic behavior, and interpret why some anorexics choose to be a part of and identify oneself with the pro-ana movement. The reason has been to conduce more knowledge and understanding of the topics, but also to contribute with a deeper perspective and sociological approach to the former research that is already available.To conduct the study, qualitative research has been used, and the chosen methodology was document analysis/text analysis. The collected empirical data consisted material from two pro-ana forums, four blogs and six twitter accounts, where all the users of those claimed to be supporters of the pro-ana. Background: The project controller is a function witch evolved due to the strong gaining ground of project operation. Why the area of the project controller is interesting to study is explained by the fact that increasing knowledge of this function is important in order to make project operation work well. This report presents a method for modelling a computer system from a security perspective. The questions that are going to be treated are:? What defines a secure system and how does the company relate to these factors?? What are the threats today based on hardware/software, human factors and company routines/policies?? What measures should be taken for the organisation to reach a higher level of security for their systems?? How do we develop a method for classification of security and what components should it contain?? What changes are reasonable and necessary with the respect to the company?s resources?The report has been done through interviews and analysis of existing systems on Fla?kt Woods AB. From analysis of material, the aspects judged relevant to the subject and to the company?s needs, have been compiled to a document.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to examine what effect two different models of acquisition have on user satisfaction with information resources at academic libraries. The two models examined are the traditional model where a subject specialist librarian makes the selection, and the user-governed model where the larger part of the selection is based on user requests. The scope is the libraries of Roskilde University, which employs the traditional acquisition model and Malmö University, which employs the user-governed. Both libraries have a user-oriented approach to acquisition. The study encompasses a close examination of the acquisition policy through document analysis and interviews with the librarians in charge of acquisitions at each university, as well as a user-satisfaction survey among the professors and senior teachers on two faculties at each university respectively.

Denna uppsats har baserats på en undersökning av vad en specificerad målgrupp föredrar och vilka faktorer de tycker är viktigast kring onlinefilm. Med onlinefilm menas film som i ett digitalt format distribueras och konsumeras via Internet, antingen genom att ladda ned eller streama filmen. Målgruppen för undersökningen bestod av civilingenjörsstudenter inom informationsteknologiska programmet vid Uppsala Universitet. För att kunna ta fram faktorer att behandla i enkätundersökningen användes ett sätt att se på produkten som innehåller tre olika nivåer. För att anpassa synsättet till produkten onlinefilm och denna uppsats har modellen som från början innehöll nivåerna kärnprodukt, den faktiska produkten och den utvidgade produkten breddats till att också innefatta pris och konsumentbeteende.
