The trend towards increasingly large farming units raises questions regarding how to better monitor production. Larger units make the impact from possible errors more severe, which increases the pressure on management supervision. To cope with management issues, prevent errors and handle increased demands on traceability and documentation, the Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) concept is making its way into various parts of agriculture. In sectors outside agriculture, RTLS are already being used successfully to track and locate items through nodes at different levels of accuracy, such as room level or the relative or absolute position. Empirical data can be received in real time from the nodes.

Marklyft är en tävlingsgren inom styrkelyft men används även ofta inom andra idrotter för såväl prestationsökande och skadeförebyggande syfte. Marklyft utförs ofta med stora belastningar som är påfrestande för greppet och för att klara av de stora belastningarna använder sig många av ett mixat grepp. Det är idag okänt hur ett mixat grepp påverkar symmetrin vid utförandet av ett marklyft.Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka om det uppstod skillnader vad gäller asymmetriska rörelser i form av förskjutning av center of pressure (CoP) vid ett mixat grepp jämfört med pronerat under ett marklyft.Metod: Åtta erfarna manliga styrkelyftare deltog i denna studie.

Today, the environmental threat is a global problem and knowledge about that effluent of carbon dioxide have a negative impact on the climate is generally known. A transport system that works well is important for Sweden, but the sector has a negative impact on the environment. Regulation and legislation for increased environmental requirements often meets resistance and fear that the work will be hampered by increased costs for environmental work that can lead to an international decrease in competitiveness. The transport companies have outside pressure from the society to do something about the environmental issue, however the companies? customers are not ready to pay a higher price for environmental work.

Today most ice rinks in Sweden use secondary refrigeration systems with a solution of calcium chloride and water as secondary refrigerant. Due to the large amount of energy such a system uses more efficient systems would be desired.An earlier study concluded in the possibilities of using carbon dioxide as secondary refrigerant with copper tubes as the loops in the ice rink. Since then 3 ice rink refrigeration systems has been built with carbon dioxide in copper tubes. Excluding the ones being direct involved in those projects there is still very little knowledge about how these system works. We have in this essay studied the Swedish Hedge Fund Market available for the average Swedish private investor. We have closely looked at the risk measurements that are applicable on the evaluation of Hedge Funds today, and furthermore studied how they are communicated and what they actually contribute with in terms of risk and yield. Our survey attempts to clarify the shortcomings in the communication between the Hedge Fund Managers and their smaller investors. Do they really know where they put their money? The market is rapidly expanding and our goal was to find improved ways to inform about the Hedge Funds risks and opportunities.

Genom åren har det tagits fram möjliga förklarande teoretiska hypoteser till listeffekter, vilka är Efficient Market Hypothesis, Information Signaling Hypothesis, Price Pressure Hypothesis, Imperfect Substitution Hypothesis, Investor Awareness Hypothesis och Liquidity Hypothesis. Olika börser har olika regler för listindelning av företag och indelningen kan ha betydelse för aktiens förutsättningar. För att studera listeffekter genom listförändringar är det en fördel om listeffekten kan studeras i en miljö där det går att kontrollera för ny information.

ÅF Test Center in Borlänge had a need to expand their capacity for compressive and tensile strength tests. They wanted to do this by using a hydraulic cylinder, which they already possessed, to apply the force with. This required a load receiving structure. The aim of this work was to design and dimensioning a test bench for a cylinder marked NIKE 300 tons. The work would result in a completed design proposal on a test bench which could manage to run the compressive and tensile strength tests of up to 3000 kN.

Both authors of this study have been involved in the School of Business at Umeå University Student Association (HHUS) and is due this discovery deficiencies and problems within the association. The pressure to engage in HHUS is compared with other financial organizations around the country very low. This led us to consider why this is the case. From experience we know that communication between the association and its members are not functioning optimally. Communication itself is essential for motivating students and for that motivation should be high for the students to experience good quality on the engagement. The purpose of this study is to identify lines of communication and motivational factors that affect students who are members of HHUS to get involved or not.
