Studien är en kvalitativ intervjustudie som genomfördes i samarbete med Scania CV AB. Syftet är att kartlägga hur man resonerar kring begreppet säkerhet i förhållande till Organizational Behavioral Management (OBM). Studien presenterar OBMs beteendeanalys ABC-modellen för att beskriva hur ett beteende kan aktiveras samt vilka konsekvenser det har. Den avser även att introducera DCOM och Beteendebaserad säkerhet (BBS) som kompletterande verktyg att arbeta med. Målgruppen i studien är truckförare på Chassi.

Bakgrund Det finns stora risker att personer med autism och utvecklingsstörning har ett problemskapande beteende. Omgivningen behöver tydliga rutiner och ett genomtänkt bemötande i kritiska och våldsamma situationer. Personalen spelar en avgörande roll för händelseutvecklingen. Ett lågaffektivt bemötande erbjuder metoder att förebygga och hantera problemskapande beteende på ett icke-kränkande och icke-våldsamt sätt genom flexibel kravanpassning.Metod Tre fokusgruppsamtal med sammanlagt 12 pedagoger på tre olika särskolor för elever med autism. Samtliga pedagoger har det senaste året gått en tredagarskurs i lågaffektivt bemötande.

De erbjuder i nuläget webbutbildningar gjorda i Flash men söker andra alternativ där de kan redigera utbildningar samt integrera webbutbildningarna i deras webbtjänst Inspectera Online.Den här rapporten handlar om skapandet av en prototyp för en webbutbildningsmodul som implementerats på Inspectera Online. Fokus ligger främst på presentationsverktyget i modulen och en jämförelse med liknande verktyg som finns tillgängliga på internet. I resultatet presenteras för- och nackdelar för respektive presentationsverktyg med avseende på funktionalitet och vilka möjligheter till integration som finns..

Abstract: According to previous research, it is not unusual for online poker players to create profiles which indicate they are members of the opposite sex. This phenomenon, known as 'Gender Swapping', is partly being utilized in a strategic fashion. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate whether or not the gender of an opponent has an impact on decision-making in an online poker environment. An experiment was constructed where subjects made 15 poker-related decisions against seven randomly generated opponents, consisting of three male, three female and one genderless opponent. The results indicate no significant differences in decisions against male and female opponents.

Det är viktigt för företag att kontinuerligt arbeta med att förbättra arbetsmiljön och minska antalet arbetsolyckor. En ökning av antalet arbetsolyckor under det senaste året har lett till att Holmen önskat undersöka faktorer som påverkar individens beteende i säkerhetsarbetet. Detta fångade vårt intresse varför det blev syftet med vår uppsats. Med hjälp av intervjuer av individer och grupper vid två av Holmens bruk har vi kommit fram till att betoningen på säkerhet inte är tillräcklig. Kommunikationen gällande vikten av säkerhet skulle kunna förbättras och ledningen men i synnerhet arbetsledarna skulle kunna ta en tydligare ledarroll. Vi har noterat att det finns normer och starka band inom gruppen vilka kan påverka individernas beteende på ett sätt det inte borde.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the performance of queries that is expanded before translation in comparison with only translation of the queries using a bilingual dictionary, and also to see if the number of terms that was used to expand the queries was of any importance i. e. if many terms from a thesaurus helped or destroyed a query. To answer these questions i used two online thesauri, Rogets thesaurus and Merriam-Webster Online and one printed bilingual dictionary, Norstedts English-Swedish dictionary. Even though the number of examined queries is too small to draw any definite conclusions, the results suggest that expanding using a general thesaurus may have a negative effect on the queries.

Personer med demens med aggressivt beteende är vanligt förekommande. Personal på särskilda boenden och inom hemtjänsten möter dessa personer i de dagliga omvårdnadssituationerna. Genom att skaffa kunskap om personens bakgrund kan personalen bättre förstå, bemöta, avleda och förhindra uppkomsten av frustration och aggression. Syftet med vår studie var att beskriva personalens föreställningar om och erfarenheter av aggressivt beteende i omvårdnaden av personer med demens. Studien utfördes genom intervjuer med sjuksköterskor aktiva inom kommunal äldreomsorg och personer i ett demensteam som har stor kunskap och erfarenhet av den problematik som ett aggressivt beteende hos personer med demens kan medföra.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine reviewswritten by users in library online catalogs, online bookstoresand on the web community LibraryThing, in order todetermine whether there are any differences in the way usersreview books, and whether these differences might explainwhy libraries experience difficulties in getting their users toreview books. At the core of web 2.0 and library 2.0concepts lies the thought of user participation, and largerlibraries have sought to implement systems for reviewingand tagging items in the catalog in ways similar to onlinebookstores and other websites.By analyzing the contents of user reviews, however, thisthesis shows that users express themselves differentlydepending on what kinds of literature they review, and inwhat context. Most notably, user reviews of ?the Classics? orcanonized literature recognizes the high status of suchliterature, while users reviewing popular fiction expressthemselves in a way that admits that the reviewed titles areconsidered less valuable. There are also signs that booksreviewed at online bookstores are seen as products ormerchandise, while the reviews at the library to a greaterdegree treat the books as works of literature.The conclusion reached in this thesis suggests that there maybe a relation between the image of the library as a defenderof high culture and the perceived status of literary works,causing users to become hesitant to review books, feelingthat they do not have the knowledge to describe or reviewthem ?correctly?..

The aim of the study was to evaluate parents and course directors?experiences of the AKKTIV ComAlong-course (Augmentative and AlternativeCommunication ? Early Intervention). ComAlong targets parents of pre-schoolchildren with extensive communication difficulties and aims to give parentsknowledge about different aspects of communication, communication developmentand AAC. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. Individualinterviews and pair-interviews with totally nine persons were performed and 54course questionnaires filled in by parents were evaluated.

Girls write, publish pictures and build networks with, mostly, other girls.  This new phenonomen has been described in Swedish media partly as a problem, where adults are worried that the information the young girls publish about themselves is too personal, and can be used for the wrong purposes. It has also been suggested that the content of young girls blogs has little value, beeing mostly narcissitic, superficial and obsessed with fashion and shopping. The purpose of this paper has been to investigate how young girls reflect upon their photographic communication on the internet.  The idea has been to ask the girls themselves about their own experiences, to get a more complete picture of them as internet users, to investigate their communication strategies and solutions when it comes to net integrity  and to talk about how they create gender and identity online..

Jag är född och uppvuxen i en liten by som heter Dyvik och som ligger precis innanför Ljusterö i mellersta/norra stockholms skärgård. Jag har alltid vistats mycket i skärgården både kring platsen där jag växte upp men även runtom i hela skärgården då jag hela mitt liv har seglat mycket. Stockholms skärgård är där mina rötter ligger och jag har alltid velat göra ett projekt som utgår ifrån mig själv och platsen där jag kommer ifrån och som har format mig.Stockholms skärgård har dessutom förutom ett fantastiskt och i många fall unikt naturliv dessutom ett rikt kulturarv. Det finns en enorm mängd historia och närheten till Stockholms stad gör platsen mycket speciell. Staden och havet.
