Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda den föreslagna kriminaliseringens effekt på Sveriges nuvarande eftergiftsprogram samt undersöka dess effektivitet trots avsaknad av ett kronvittnesförfarande. Vidare avser uppsatsen att undersöka om kriminaliseringens effekter kan påverkas. För att utröna kriminaliseringens effekter har VD: n få en central roll i uppsatsens modell, då det endast är han som berörs av ett individuellt straffansvar och ej företaget i sig. För att utreda syftet har författarna nyttjat spelteori samt studerat det inträdesbeslut VD:n står inför. Resultatet påvisade att det är ej möjligt att införa ett kriminaliseringsförfarande, som förvisso ökar den avskräckande effekten, utan att samtidigt delvis äventyra eftergiftsprogrammets angivareffekt.

Sedan friskolornas start har skolmarknaden utvecklats och numera existerar det ett flertal variationer av organisationsformer samt driftsformer på den Svenska marknaden. Teorin redogör för ett antal styrande incitament som är av betydelse för icke-vinstdrivande skolors existens, vilka främst har observeras i skolor utanför Sverige. Baserat på olikheter mellan länder såsom Sverige och USA aktualiseras frågan om incitamenten kan appliceras på den svenska friskolemarknaden. En kvalitativ studie har genomförts med två friskolor i Stockholmsområdet där jag har sökt svar på uppsatsens centrala fråga; om incitamenten bakom icke- vinstdrivande skolor i teorin stämmer överens med realiteten? Resultatet antyder att skillnaden mellan vinstdrivande och icke-vinstdrivande friskolor ej är av den karaktären som teorin påvisar.

An analysis of the consequences of Stopplagen for the Swedish health care market Author: Cecilia Halldelius Tutor: Carl Hampus Lyttkens Date: 2005-09-05 Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to examine how the new legislation for the health care market, primarily the anti-profit-legislation, will affect the competition in the Swedish health care market. Method: The thesis is based on literary studies. By combining theories and empirics regarding the health care market, competition and profit, a deeper understanding of the aspects important for the chosen subject, is created. Combined with official reports and the new legislation, an analysis is formed.

This case study examines how a group of upper secondary school students in a multiethnical suburb of Stockholm reason about the theory of evolution. The theoretical background of the thesis is postcolonial and the questions raised were how spread the creationist thoughts are in the group; in what way the backgrounds of the students are relevant to their thoughts; how the students construct the notion of the theory of evolution; how they position themselves and others in relation to the discourse of the theory of evolution; if there are any differences between students at the collage program of natural science and the collage program of social science, and in that case, what differences; and who or what inspires the young in their thoughts about the theory of evolution. To answer these questions both a survey poll and interviews were used. The result of the case study showed that a majority of the students at the investigated school has creationist ideas and that the students profiled on social science have creationist ideas in a wider extent. Another result is that the religious background seems to be relevant to develop creationist thoughts, while the variables gender, home district and educational level did not differ the creationist group from the whole group.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka olika modellers förmåga att prognostisera den systematiska samvariationen mellan Affärsvärldens branschindex. Med regressionsanalys undersöks systematisk kovarians på den svenska aktiemarknaden under perioden 1997 ? 2006. Först skattas branschindexens känslighet för olika riskfaktorer, skattningarna används för att skapa en varians-kovariansmatris. Utvärdering sker genom att vikterna för en global minsta variansportfölj beräknas med hjälp av den skattade varians-kovariansmatrisen.

This study aims to find coping resources in two different paradigms of pastoral care using coping theory from the psychology of religion. The intention is to find coping resources that are functional coping strategies to help priests and chaplains in their work with pastoral care. The research questions are: What coping resources can be found in the pastoral clinical paradigm and the contextual paradigm? What are the differences and similarities? The method used is template analysis style where the theories form a framework for the material used to analyse in this study. The theories used for this study are religious coping theory and pastoral care theory.

Motives and reasons behind a decision to change the asylum process in Sweden are the central concern for this thesis. A symbolic political perspective will be applied in order to elucidate the symbolic factors that have influenced the decision process.The Aliens Appeal Board in Sweden will close down at the end of March 2006 and all pending and future cases will henceforth be decided by three administrative courts. This will be done in order to enhance the principles of legal certainty by making the process more transparent and oral. It is an extensive reform, but since very few amendments are made to the applicable substantive law it raises questions about the actual motives behind the change.One reason that seems to have had a major impact on the decision to close down the Aliens Appeal Board is the fact that the board is perceived as a symbol for an inhuman asylum policy. Transferring the process to the courts might ease the attempt to increase the legitimacy of the asylum process.

Det övergripande syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar utformningen av Frälsningsarméns tidning Stridsropet över viss tid, samt hur tidningens policy styrt det redaktionella arbetet Dessutom har jag försökt visa vilket utrymme chefredaktören har att påverka innehållet och vilken ledarskapsstil denne tillämpat. Med hjälp av både kvantitativ innehållsanalys och kvalitativa intervjuer undersöks Stridsropet under fyra olika chefredaktörer, vilken typ av artiklar som publiceras samt hur de fyra chefredaktörerna förhåller sig till den av ägaren fastställda policyn. Resultatet analyseras sedan främst med hjälp av Andersson Odéns (2001) teorier om redaktionell policy. Resultatet från intervjuerna visar att chefredaktörerna följer den övergripande redaktionella policyn som är norm för alla Frälsningsarméns tidningar med namnet Stridsropet (engelska War Cry) över hela världen. I intervjuerna framkommer även att varje chefredaktör har relativt stor frihet att utforma innehållet i tidningen efter egna intentioner och intressen.

Hur åldersstrukturen i ett land påverkar den ekonomiska tillväxten i Sverige är en aktuell fråga, då den svenska befolkningen håller på att bli allt äldre. Det kommer att påverka ekonomin på flera sätt. Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur förändringar i den svenska åldersstrukturen har påverkat den ekonomiska tillväxten i Sverige, samt försöka ge en fingervisning om hur de framtida förändringarna kommer att påverka den ekonomiska tillväxten. En regressionsanalys med förklarande demografiska variabler genomförs för att utreda hur den svenska åldersstrukturen har påverkat den svenska ekonomiska tillväxten. Regressionsanalysen är gjord efter inspiration av en Solow-modell som har utvecklats med demografiska variabler.Resultatet visar att olika åldersgrupper påverkar den ekonomiska tillväxten på skilda vis.

The changes in the Swedish meat- and meat processing industry have been substantial in recent years. These changes will alter the business environment for many companies. In order to be prepared to face new threats and new opportunities, companies should be actively working on these issues. Risk awareness and by developing of risk management strategies companies can act quickly and effectively when the conditions changes. The objective of this study is to analyse whether and why companies in the Swedish meat- and meat processing industry use various forms of risk management strategies.

The role of religion, of religious individuals and organizations, is currently discussed within both a private and public sector of development. I have viewed documents from the World Bank and DFID where the religious presence is a growing fact and previous theories that religion would disappear with economic development have been abandoned. As a result DFID conducted a large study on the importance of religion for development work, RaD 2005-2011, under the directions of Professor Carole Rakodi. Rakodi (2011) concluded that religion was highly related to the success or failure of developmental projects, and to understand the values people had religion needed to be understood within its specific cultural context. She developed an analysis model to conduct this work.

Business incubation is an important force of economic development but relatively unheard of in organization theory. This is partly due to the fact that in organization theory, meta-organization or the organization of organizations has been neglected or left lagging as much theorization has been focused on organizing individuals. With the growing number of business incubators, and meta-organizations in general, the need for understanding a relatively new type of organization is prevalent.This case study of the business incubator Global Business Labs Botswana (GBL) aims to clarify the organizational differences among meta-organizations and traditional organizations on a case level, as well as explain the underlying factors for these dissimilarities. With respect to the nature of this case study no general conclusions are drawn from the results. The inference, however, is that the organization of GBL and its incubated companies differs from the traditional organization in five elementary aspects: the weak hierarchical structure, the operational autonomy of its members, the strong focus on recruitment processes, the member identity and the lack of formal sanctions.

Arbetet med mångfald utgår från diskrimineringslagstiftningen för att säkerställa attorganisationer bedriver ett aktivt mångfaldsarbete. Ett verktyg för organisationer attaktivt jobba med frågan är genom att utfärda en mångfaldsplan. Planen syftar till attmotverka diskriminering samt uppnå lagens intentioner.
