Köpa på efterfrågan : en utvärdering av BIN-projektets försöksverksamhet
In 2003 the libraries of ten municipalities in the northern part of Sweden were each given 10 000 (SEK) by the BIN-project to purchase books on demand instead of making inter-library loans. This attempt was called Köpa på efterfrågan (Purchasing on demand). The purpose of this master thesis is to evalutate Köpa på efterfrågan. The results of the evaluation show that the books purchased on demand were quite popular. Almost all the purchased books were non-fictional with most books being bought within the field of medicin.
Fastighetsmäklarens klädsel : Hur påverkar den kunden?
Real estate managers work in a hard branch with big competition and skeptical customers. For most people, buying a property is the biggest private purchase of their lives. This puts a big pressure on the real estate agent to make the process run smooth. But how does the customer know which real estate manager to choose? We have researched what effect the real estate managers clothing has on the customers? first impression and how clothing affects customers? choice of real estate agents.To answer our questions we´ve done 13 projective interviews with ten customers and three real estate agents, where we showed four pictures with the same person dressed in different styles.
IKT för elever med ADHD : Nytta eller nöje?
The aim with this study was to see how a few teachers with experience of young students with ADHD looks upon the need of special support through ICT and from which perspective of special needs education the support is formed.I related the informants? answers about their views on special needs support based on a relational and categorical perspective and came to the conclusion that all of the informants uses a bit of both depending on each individual students needs. Therefor I could see that the dilemma perspective is current in schools today. The most important need for the students with ADHD in general is, according to the informants, structure and routine.The result from this study also shows that general knowledge about ICT is lacking and needs to increase. This could in most cases be explained by the schools economic resources as that partly prevent purchase of new and more equipment but also forces the school to keep larger groups of students in each class.
En studie av Helleborus :
This work describes the genus Helleborus both from a general point of view, and with individual descriptions of 17 species. The intention is not to make a complete description of the genus, but rather to give an overview and an introduction into the world of Helleborus. A separate chapter lists a few pests and diseases attacking the genus, followed by a brief summary of propagation methods and breeding of the genus. Finally, there is a short discussion of thoughts about the genus and its future use..
Varumärken - Ur barns perspektiv
Dagens teknologiska utveckling har bidragit till vårt mediaintensiva samhälle som iallt större utsträckning har övergått till ett konsumtionssamhälle. Trots Sverigesrestriktioner gällande marknadsföring riktat till barn, står barn för stora delar avlandets konsumtion, vilket inte minst förstärkts genom internets utveckling. Dagensbarn är rikare än någon annan generation genom tiderna, vilket är något företag i daguppmärksammat vid utformandet av marknadsföring och produkter. Varumärken harfått en större betydelse på den konkurrenssatta marknaden, inte minst bland barn.Uppsatsens syfte är att identifiera och fördjupa diskussionen kring barnskonsumtionsmönster i yngre åldrar. Uppsatsen belyser den varumärkesmedvetenhetsom råder i åldrarna 6-10, samt identifierar likheter respektive skillnader gällandebarns relation till klädmärken.Studiens huvudsakliga teorier är varumärkesvärde, visual literacy och grupptryck,vilka sammankopplas med den insamlade empirin för att svara på hur barns relationtill klädmärken ser ut.
Fallstudie på växtodlingsgård :
This report will point out the income for a scania plant production farm, this has been
estimated through a case study. The outcome of this report will later be used to
calculate a reasonable leasehold charge.
This case study is solitary based upon this particular studied farm, at this very point,
and can therefore not be used as a general guide. The reason why this particular scania
plant production farm has been selected, is because the author is born and raised at the
farm and has the intention to run the farm in the future.
The chosen farm for this report is based in the southwest of scania and cover 300
hectare of plant production. The crop rotation consists of autumn wheat, sugar beats,
spring wheat, spring barely, winter rape and fallow. The farm owns all machinery
required.

This is a study of proficiency development of major/lt colonel officers (level 2-3) within the Swedish armed forces. The study includes officers above the age of 45. The background of this study is a study from January 2000 (written by Björn Osswald). Osswald discovered that proficiency development decreased at the age of 45. Since the profession as an officer today is a lifetime profession, this is a result that the Swedish Armed Forces not can afford.
Infotainmentsystem i bilar : Hur nuvarande riktlinjer förhåller sig till konsumenters krav på funktionalitet
Teknikutvecklingen inom bilbranschen ökar i takt med konsumenters krav på multifunktionella system. Mobiltelefoner är ett vanligt inslag i konsumenternas vardag och används dessvärre även under bilkörning. Det finns ett tydligt samband mellan mobilanvändning bakom ratten och antalet trafikolyckor. Detta antal skulle kunna minska om infotainmentsystem kan erbjuda samma funktionalitet fast på ett mer trafiksäkert sätt. Det finns idag riktlinjer gällande användarupplevelse och trafiksäkerhet från Android och NHTSA.
IT-undervisning och dess problemsituationer i gymnasieskolan
Skolverket har instiftat ett antal IT-inriktade kurser för gymnasieskolan, men olika teorier beskriver att denna traditionella undervisning är långt ifrån pedagogiskt fulländad. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur IT-undervisningen i dagens gymnasieskola är upplagd och om lärarna upplever några problemsituationer i undervisningen. Genom att intervjua sex gymnasielärare i en medelstor svensk stad har undervisningsmetoder och problemsituationer kartlagts. Två lärare använder sig av genomgångsfas och därefter uppgiftsfas, en lärare använder PBL som undervisningsmetod, en lärare väljer att slå ihop genomgångsfas och uppgiftsfas och slutligen väljer två lärare att undervisa med hjälp av ett interaktivt inlärningsprogram (I-point). När det gäller hjälpmedel i undervisningen använder samtliga lärare sig av projektor kopplad till dator för att visa genomgångar på projektorduk.

In this thesis the author has through a discourse analysis examined how the concept of culture has been used in the discourse of integration during the late twentieth century in Sweden. The author argues that the integration of immigrating people has been the fundamental method in creating Swedish citizens within the immigrant communities. In this discourse the concept ?culture? has been a constant recurring way of explaining differences among the immigrants towards ?ethnic swedes? and Swedish way of life and establishing difficulties in performing integration outside of governmental policies. Hydrotherapy is a relatively new area when it comes to treatment and prevention of different problems in dogs, but an area that is growing in popularity. In Sweden, the person who performs hydrotherapy on dogs doesn?t need veterinary education, which is the case in some other countries. What makes hydrotherapy advantageous is that water has an ability to provide an environment where injured body parts can be supported, which means that rehabilitation can start early without the risk of affecting the injury and in the same time relieve the pain for the patient. There are only a few studies of hydrotherapy on dogs and these studies focus on the physical health of the dog.

Unit testing is a type of testing technique which is becoming quite fashionable to the developers and companies that are in the business of creating and managing software. Alas there are seldom any concrete data to support the positive claims of the authors in unit testing methodology books. These claims are instead based on empirical studies and the experience of the authors. The problem that arises from this situation is that it becomes problematic for managers and also the developers themselves to convince both customers and their own management to use this type of testing as there is no exact return of investment model. This essay examines this problem from two points, the first point is from the literature itself and interviews conducted with a number of developers at a software company located in Umea, Sweden.

Theory has concluded that consumers evaluate advertising not only based on what the advertiser's message aims to communicate, but also how the message is communicated. As the most popular activity on the world's largest social media channels is to upload and share photos, it has become crucial for advertisers to define strategies that maximize the reach of photo posts. Two observed variations of images used in posts are graphical images and digital photographs. The aim of this study is to investigate which of these two strategies that generate most positive impact on the sender and its brand. 230 users of the Chinese Facebook and Twitter counterpart, Sina Weibo, were exposed to manipulated Sina Weibo posts after which they answered a survey.

Title: Yes logo! What defines a good logo?

Course: Bachelor?s thesis in Business Administration, 10 credits.
Purpose: To find out which are the defining characteristics of a good logo,
from a scientific point of view.
Method: We have used a qualitative method consisting of interviews with experts
within the marketing area with the goal to test the Swedish point of view
against the one in the litterature.
We also used a quantitative method to investigate the publics attitude towards
the testlogos we created. The purpouse of this poll is to test different
colourcombinations and how the marketsegments feel about them. In this poll we
used statistical methods to make sure that the agelimits and the number of male
and female respondents are correct.
We executed another quantitative study towards Swedish marketing companies to
create an idea of the businesses thoughts about a good logo are.
Results: A good logo is a simple symbol or geometrical form consisting of a
combination of colours that reflect the company?s core values, visions and
goals.
