This thesis work aims to describe the prerequisites for a distributed treatment Platform for real-time sharing of rounds performed by paediatric oncologists. The work started during the autumn 2004 and is directly aimed at improving the situation for the thirty or so specialist treating children with cancer. The work is not limited to the description of such a Platform but also to select suitable software and hardware for the implementation of the Platform and further more to coordinate the implementation. The production of several documents describing the Platform is also part of this work. The work successfully led to the implementation of such a Platform as described in the published article Barnradioterapi på distans Kristenssen et.

The purpose of this thesis was to analyse, model and finally generate dynamic vehicular motions in a train. The objective with the analysis was to find important motions for a realistic train experience. The motions from the analysis were then weighted against possibilities for generation in a motion Platform.A dynamic motion model was created to model the selected motions. The model was implemented in a simulation environment, more specifically MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation environment was used to simulate the model and to generate outputs to control a motion Platform.

Mobile Arts have a technical Platform for handling maps and community-featured Points of Interest in cellular phones, where the users themselves can share locations with other users either in groups or public. Development of the Platform regarding network communication has been included in this paper. The work evaluates different feasible business models regarding packaging the Platform as a commercial application and also faces issues users have when using the product. Even if users found maps and POI interesting and cool in cellulars, the technical difficulties and lack of product focus during beta testing, were present. Therefore, the writers recommendation is more development of the Platform and using a business model where Mobile Arts deliver to existing communities.

The company Bergteamet, Boliden, Sweden, is installing ventilation shafts of the Garpenberg mine. For such work a Platform is needed which you can stand on and work from. The Shaft Reinforcement Team at Bergteamet performs the installation work and is the sponsor of the Platform. The project described in this report is performed at the department MEC, Mining Equipment Construction, which has been given the task to design and construct the Platform, customized for the current shaft. After this the Platform is manufactured and inspected at the workshop at Bergteamet.The design work was carried out as follows:- After an initial meeting a requirement specification was worked out, describing the problem and previous experiences of Platforms and requirements for the design and equipment.- A concept sketch was developed with consideration of surrounding factors.- A constructed 3D model was presented along with the choice of materials.

Train travel has increased in Sweden, and future increase of train transports putdemands on the already vastly exploited railroad net. The increased need of capacitycan be seen in the ongoing and planned expansions of the railway track. One part ofthe railroad infrastructure which is affected by an increase of travellers is the design ofthe station Platform. Since the Platform is the place where the traveller meets thetrain, dangerous situations can occur in this environment. A number of studies focuson single safety risks, albeit there is no research to show the full picture of safety inthe Platform environment.This study aims to treat and put together a compilation of risks for the traveller in thePlatform environment in the form of a checklist, which can be used as support inplanning and design of a safer Platform environment for existing or planned Platforms.The thesis has, through case studies of five ongoing projects within the NationalRailroad Administration (Banverket), interviews with train company personnel andinternational railroad administrators, identified and treated safety (and security) risksin the Platform environment.The conclusion of the study is that the relations between the traveller, the physicalPlatform environment and the project organisation are important to explore andexploit when designing effective safety measures.

Detta arbete har utförts tillsammans med Ipendo Systems AB i Linköping. Företaget utvecklar ett system för att administrera immateriella rättigheter som heter Ipendo Platform. Kunder som använder Ipendo Platform saknar idag ett sätt att visualisera och analysera den data som de har inlagda i systemet. Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att från grunden ta fram och realisera en modul till Ipendo Platform som visualiserar och analyserar kunders immaterialrättighetsdata. Vidare har syftet också varit att integrera modulen mot Europeiska patentverkets publika databas så att konkurrensanalyser kan göras mellan olika företag.

This thesis deals with the problems you face as a new game developer for the mobile Platform Android when developing a 3D game and presents solutions to these problems. It also explores which optimizations should be made to increase performance and how well suited for game development the Android Platform is. A simple 3D game for version 2.2 of Android was developed to examine this. The conclusion was that a good game structure for Android separates logic and rendering by running these separately in different threads. Solutions to rendering and updating of game logic were presented and optimizations were implemented for performance, although fewer optimizations were needed than was anticipated.

Analys och utveckling av inbyggda GPS-applikationer f¨or anv¨andning inom fordonsindustrin

This thesis is a part of the DySCAS (Dynamically Self-Configuring Automotive System)project which has the overall purpose of creating a middleware for the electronics in an automotive environment. The thesis has been made with collaboration with ENEA AB who is a member of the DySCAS project. ENEA AB has developed a demonstration Platform to test the fundamental ideas which the DySCAS project is built on.The purpose of this thesis was to design and implement a GPS application to be added to the demonstration Platform. This was done by adding a GPS receiver to the original DySCAS demonstration Platform and designing and implementing an application to be able to extract the information from it. The resulting application is able to present cur- rent position and absolute time to the DySCAS networks as services to be used by other applications or by the network it self.

This thesis have been performed at Sweco Position in Jönköping. The work was split into two, where one part included an investigation regarding the possibility of developing a cross-Platform GIS (geographic information system) with HTML5 and CSS3. A prototype would also be developed within this part.The second part included development of a cross-Platform GIS for a client to Sweco Position. The client operates in the forest sector and had already an existing solution, with many problems. The client required an application with delimited functionality and which was not bound to a specific hardware.As the client users often were located in areas with limited Internet access, one additional requirement was that there would be some offline support.The students handle subjects within development of GIS, for example map projections, map services and mapping libraries.The application came to be developed in HTML5 and ASP.net.

The objective of this study was to examine three common mobile phonePlatforms in relation to their network traffic features. The Platforms to beexamined are Android, iOS 5 and Windows Phone. After the investigation wascompleted a prototype application was implemented in order to demonstratethese features in the most suitable Platform. The application will function as atelephone call exchanger. In addition, the application must also send the userstatistic to a Web server, accept contacts from a Web server, as well as having aspecial administration part in which the userstatistc can be presented.
