AbstractThis study aims to describe and analyze how the 15 municipalities of Västerbotten County consider regional targets of development in their comprehensive plans. The study also investigate if there´s any need of improvements for the consideration of regional targets in comprehensive planning.This paper is based on studies of comprehensive plans in Västerbotten County and on three interviews with employers of different municipalities in the county. An thematic analysis were used to analyze documents and interviews.The result shows that a new comprehensive plan generally takes more consideration to regional targets of development than older plans. The consideration varies a lot between the municipalities of Västerbotten County and it can be explained by many reasons. The informant?s points out that lack of resources- and competence plus a deficient dialog between municipalities and regional organizations are the mainly causes.Keywords; regional development, comprehensive planning, strategy for regional development, regional development program, land-use planning.

Collaborative planning ? a comparative study of theory and practice Why There is today, according to my experience, a growing interest and demand for a more inclusive and transparent planning process. Also, if we are going to be able to reach a truly sustainable society it is my belief that there is a need for a more integrated collaboration between different actors. Where the social, economic and ecological values can influence and benefit from each other. The question then is, how can the planning system accommodate that kind of collaboration? Purpose My aim for this thesis has been to study a selection of the theoretical work that exist about collaborative planning.

Syftet med arbetet har varit att analysera hur olika stadsplaneideal direkt eller underförstått framhävs i svensk stadsplaneringsdebatt och stadsbyggande samt att undersöka vilka planideal som förespråkas. Den svenska stadsplaneringsdebatten har analyserats utifrån ett urval av artiklar ifrån de tio senaste årens nummer av tidsskrifterna Arkitekten, Arkitektur, Plan och Nordisk arkitekturforskning, vilka kan sägas utgöra den huvudsakliga arenan för den fackmässiga stadsbyggnads- och planeringsdebatten i Sverige. Resultatet av analysen har jämförts med tre aktuella och omdebatterade stadsbyggnadsprojekt i syfte att undersöka vilka kopplingar som finns mellan dagens debatt och aktuellt stadsbyggande. Resultatet har även jämförts och diskuterats utifrån den historiska stadsplaneutvecklingen av den svenska staden för att undersöka hur olika stadsplaneideal påverkat stadsbyggandet i Sverige under olika tidsperioder samt i vilken utsträckning de stadsplaneideal som förekommer i dagens debatt hämtar sin inspiration ifrån historiska förebilder. Utifrån stadsplaneringsdebatten går det att utläsa två inriktningar i dagens stadsplaneideal. Dels den täta staden som hämtar inspiration ifrån den traditionella svenska kvartersstaden och motiveras med att den täta staden är den mest hållbara stadsformen, dels ett sökande efter nya alternativa stadsformer som inte kännetecknas av ett specifikt planeideal men som ser en risk i att föreslå en specifik planstruktur framför andra och att ett planideal per automatik skulle vara mer hållbart än ett annat.

This essay focuses on tourists' information seeking. The main focus was to examine whether there is a connection between how the informants in different tourist styles the different tourist styles are presented by Eva Wolf as the tourist of recreation, action, culture, compromise, and individualism seek information to their forthcoming vacation. The result was reached through a qualitative method, where ten informants with various tourist roles were interviewed separately. The informants were chosen by personal contacts. In addition to these interviews, three representatives from the tourist industry were contacted and interviewed by e-mail.

This project is a contribution in the debate of sustainable city planning. The conceptual ideas in this project can be used on many places and are here applyed on the center of Nacka, outside of Stockholm. The essay is based on an entry in the competition Europan 9, advertised by Europan in collaboration with the municipality of Nacka. The theme of the competition is ?sustainable city and public space?. The discussion of the sustainable city is a very wide subject which needs to be narrowed to suite the context of Nacka.

Förtätningar kan både gynna staden, dess invånare och hållbarheten men även hota dessa värden. Enligt plan- och bygglagen (PBL 2010:900) ska hänsyn tas till både allmänna och enskilda intressen men enligt 2 kap. 2 § PBL ska företräde ges åt sådan användning som från allmän synpunkt medför en god hushållning. Trots detta händer det att enskilda intressen gynnas framför allmänna intressen, exempelvis när förtätningar sker i offentliga parker utan att allmänheten kompenseras. Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka hur städer kan förtätas utan att allmänintresset missgynnas.

Outdoor education is a teaching method which has several advantages to traditional classroom tuition. Its ideas have a long tradition and find support in the current Swedish curriculum. The place for the tuition is a central aspect within outdoor education. This essay aims to investigate what good places for outdoor education look like as well as discussing how the characteristics of such places can be used when designing schoolyards. Previous research shows that nature has characteristics that suit outdoor education well.

Detta examensarbete är gjord i Södertälje Centrum. Arbetet är indelat i tre delar. Första delen tar upp allmän information och fakta om Södertälje. Andra delen hittar man den analys som jag arbetat med, det vill säga Ortsanalys. Denna del avslutas med en slutsats som står som bakgrund för den tredje delen av arbetet, förslagsdelen.

EXAMENSARBETET HAR LETT FRAM till ett planförslag som visar på hur en kommande förtätning av planområdet kan utformas. Förslaget grundas i inventerings- och analys-resultat samt på tidigare ställningstaganden från bland annat Stockholms stadsbyggnadskontor. PLANFÖRSLAGET INNEBÄR I STORA DRAG att områdets be-varandevärda bebyggelse utgör stommen och ny samtida bebyggelse införs i medveten kontrast.

This paper examines the opportunities and challenges of integrating conservation practice and the circular economy into practical planning processes. In recent years, the discussion of circular economy and its relevance in the sustainability debate has intensified. According to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the transition to a circular economy is crucial to achieving the national and international environmental and climate goals as well as the global goals in Agenda 2030. Parallel to this, there is a long established heritage discourse that emphasizes the importance of preserving buildings and cultural environments as part of our cultural heritage. These two discourses have common goals, but they differ in how they present their respective arguments.

The study was conducted at a business in the social service. The purpose was to examine how the business works with human resource planning. In order to answer the purpose two questions was formulated, which human resource planning strategy does the business use? And, how do businesses need to act according to the theory of strategic manpower to achieve human resource planning? Survey data collection was done through a qualitative research design, where interviews with five employees in the business took place.The study shows that the business is using a own made strategy in order to achieve human resource planning. The strategy consists of two steps, in step one they do an background analysis and step two a needs analysis where a goal- and responsibility description are designed and then a set of requirements.

Sammanfattning Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur medborgardeltagandet kan se ut i planeringsprocessen. Vi undrade hur den här metoden kan påverka utformningen av ett planförslag. Kandidatarbetet belyser teorier om hur man tar tillvara på brukarnas upplevelser. Samt hur man kan omvandla resultatet av upplevelser till ett planförslag vid omgestaltningen av ett område. Arbetet har resulterat i ett planförslag över Rönninge torg i Salems kommun.

Logistics planning for a construction site is usually limited by traffic flow to and from the workplace. The geographical location of the construction site is determined by roads around the workplace and opportunities for well-functioning logistics. Inventory of material is often impossible because of the frequently small workspaces. As a result, a concern relating material handling remains . Even before the establishment of a construction site, it is required in the construction industry to eliminate errors that might arise in the planning stage.

This thesis presents the theory behind prototyping and user interviews as parts of requirements analysis. It further discusses how these were used in the development of a budget planning application. The implemented Web-based solution uses a new component-based design rooted in a Model-View-Controller architecture. I denna studie studeras rekordårens betydelse som historiebärare och kulturmiljö i förhållande till nutida stadsbyggnadsförändringar för att tillmötesgå 2010-talets ideal om en tät och stadsmässig boendemiljö. Krav på ökad bostadsproduktion i landets större städer och upprustning av rekordårens bebyggelsebestånd är andra anledningar till fysiska förändringar och nybyggnation. Det har vid tillbyggnad i befintliga bostadsområden visat sig svårt att kommunicera den ursprungliga stadsplanen och de kvaliteter som den är sammankopplad med, det är denna konflikt som utgör studiens kärnproblematik. För att studera sambandet mellan platshistorisk hänsyn och nybyggnation genom förtätning utförs en fallbaserad analys av rekordårsområdet Hageby i Norrköping där tre alternativa förtätningsförslag presenteras utifrån generell teori och forskningsöversikt om kulturmiljövård och rekordårens flerbostadshusområden där de övertygelser som formade dem samt den roll de har att spela som kulturmiljö redovisas..
