Tredje generationens flugfiskerulle
This Master Thesis describes how a concept for a new fly fishing reel has been developed. Thethesis has been an interwork with Loop Tackle Design, which is a leading company in the flyfishing industry with their high-quality products. Loop designs and develops all types of flyfishing equipment like fly fishing reels, rods, lines and clothes.The purpose of this thesis is to generate a concept for a new type of fly fishing reel. The new flyfishing reel shall be innovative and reduce the number of components in fly fishing equipment.The solution for this is to create a fly fishing reel that is collapsible and can be used for all typesof fly fishing.The thesis started with a history of fly fishing and the equipments that have been used for flyfishing in the past and what is used today, in order to get an idea how fly fishing haveprogressed. A frame of reference was then compiled to get an idea of the forces and surroundingsa fly fishing reel will be exposed to.

This is a bachelor thesis about arable land in Varberg, from sustainability and it?s relation to local government and management. Arable land has become more important as a natural resource from a global point of view and in concerns of higher demands of food supply, as a result of population growth, higher consumption worldwide and climate change. But the arable land in Sweden is being exploited an increasingly rapid pace and the arable land in Varberg is not an exception of this development. The issue is most topical and the discussion holds questions about a declining agricultural sector, the formal and administrative protection of arable land and because other interests of land use often is given higher priority in community development and planning.

Platser med höga globala respektive lokala integrationsvärden har, enligt Space
syntax-teorin, visats bli välbesökta. Handelshamnen i Karlskrona är en plats
som innehar dessa egenskaper. Ett nytt promenadstråk längs med kajen har därför
potential att bli välbesökt samtidigt som det finns potential att skapa ett
attraktivt bostadsområde på platsen. Examensarbetet ger förslag på en
utformning av bostäder längs med Handelshamnen samt även hur de lokala- och
globala korrrelationsvärdena på platsen kan höjas för att bidra till ett
välbesökt promenadstråk. Detta utan att de bostadsmiljöerna drabbas av den
förväntade ökade andelen gångtrafikanten längs med kajkanten..
Kristinehamns provisoriska generalplan : En idéanalys av den lokala fysiska planeringen, åren 1940-43
The purpose of this essay is to study how the local creators of a "master plan" for the swedish city Kristinehamn, the years between 1940 to -43, looked on their planning. It is an analysis of ideas case study. A hypothesis is upheld for the research: that the local physical planning had largely extended ambitions what regards central state control in a way that is similar to planned economy. Questions that are asked include: Was the planning assumed to be a tool for the state to regulate the environment? Can the planning be seen as a mean to control the society in time and space? The essay search for verification of the hypothesis by a theoretical analysis apparatus made upp of ideal types.

The interview studie consist of 10 interviews with construction workers who are specially educated in participating in the planning process at the company ByggDialog AB.ConclusionAll respondents are positive to be involved in the planning process. The main advantages they can see is that they are able to influence technical solutions and methods that will be used later on in the production. Therefore it is important to consider when construction workers should be involved in the planning process so that they get the chance to influence in this decisions.When it comes to the decision making the construction workers should be involved in the decisions that are related to their tasks in the production such as technical solutions, choice of methods and materials. Their main duties and working hours should be in the production.Involvement in planning does not automatically mean that the construction workers are involved in the decision making, it is up to them how much they participate.

15 p vårterminen 2010 på programmet för fysisk planering vid Blekinge Tekniska
Högskola. Arbetet är det avslutande examensarbetet efter 3 års studier i fysisk
planering på grundläggande nivå.
Arbetet handlar om funktionsomvandlingar i staden. Hur ett flexibelt byggande
kan underlätta i städer, där behovet av byggnader förändras snabbare än en
byggnads livstid. Kandidatarbetet har dels inneburit studier av en
funktionsomvandling som gjorts på Stumholmen i Karlskrona och dels inneburit
ett försök till en liknande omvandling på ön Kungsholmen i Karlskronas skärgård
där en funktionsomvandling är aktuell idag år 2010.
Konsten att (inte) sticka ut - En granskning av omvärldsanalyser och strategiskt arbete inom kommunal översiktlig planering
Det här är en masteruppsats i fysisk planering med inriktning omvärldsanalys
och strategiskt arbete i kommunal översiktlig planering. Uppsatsen undersöker
hur kommuners omvärldsanalyser ser ut samt hur de utifrån dessa formulerar
strategier. Vidare undersöker uppsatsen vilka huvuddragen i strategierna är
samt vilka planeringsprojekt som kommunen menar ska bidra till att strategin
uppnås. Med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys och semistrukturerade
personliga intervjuer har två översiktsplaner och en fördjupad översiktsplan
för Helsingborg, Malmö respektive Ystad undersökts. Uppsatsen åskådliggör ett
tydligt generellt mönster för samtliga undersökta strategier; förtätning genom
blandad bebyggelse, marknadsföring och regionförstoring genom

Viktstudie av Analysinstrument : Konceptförslag för minskning av vikt
This thesis report describes the development of concepts regarding how weight can be reduced to the analytical instrument Biacore 4000. This thesis has resulted in five different concept proposals, all of which is solutions to reduce the instrument's weight.The thesis started with a pre-study where the instrument's structure and function were studied using both Solid Works, the opportunity to study the instrument in real life were also possible done. During this phase, a weight study was conducted as well, in which the instrument's weight distribution was studied and mapped.Following the initial phase, the work proceeded by developing concrete concepts to reduce the weight of the instrument where focus mainly was on the two cabinets. In addition, another two concepts were revealed, both with a more general approach.At the final phase of the thesis, the concepts were compiled and evaluated among themselves and the initial instrument.The thesis resulted in a study of the instrument's structure and weight distribution, with suggestions on how weight may be reduced for the instrument.The result factors such as materials, and manufacturing were aspects that were taken into consideration.At the final section of the report, suggestions for further work in which different aspects are discussed can be found..

Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats är att studera hur den Olympiska parken i
Peking respektive London planeras för att hantera de Olympiska spelen samt hur
de planerats för att användas efteråt. Vidare är syftet att se vilka
förutsättningar och vilken problematik som därefter uppstår. Undersökningen har
skett genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av den Olympiska parken i Peking
respektive London. Resultatet från studien har därefter analyserats och
diskuterats utifrån ett par teoretiska huvudpunkter som är viktiga vid
planeringen av mega-event.

The aim of my study is to investigate how last year students in upper secondary schoolunderstand certain mathematical concepts, in particular the unit circle and its trigonometry.I have used intentional analysis to interpret student?s actions when they solve certain tasks onthe basis of a cognitive, situated and cultural context.Interviews with four university teachers in mathematics about the unit circle, trigonometry,and mathematical understanding, serve both as background for the study and as basis for adiscussion, where I relate students understanding to what the teachers want new students toknow about these concepts when they begin university studies in mathematics.The students were arranged in three groups with three students in each group. Each group waspresented with two tasks, one in which they were asked to calculate the cosine values for onepointed, one blunt and one straight angle, each located in a separate triangle. They were alsoasked to decide whether the points (0,71; 0,71) and d (1 2 , 3 2 ) are located on the unit circleor not.My conclusion is that students mainly have an operational conception of the unit circle andtrigonometry. The lack of structural conceptions result in difficulties in seeing connectionsbetween the concepts in unfamiliar situations.

For that reason it is very important that the planning- and productionprocesses aren?t to complex and with a simple structure.The purpose of this report is to study and map out a marked out part of a planning- andproduction process, from adjust works to final delivery, at a company in the sawmill industry.Different methods have been used for the report, among others interviews and subordinatedmaterial.We have mapped out a marked out part of the planning- and production process at theCompany. This part we have studied, and we have analysed the process it self and otherthings connected to the process.We see the planning- and production process in the Company as complex.

In this study we have interviewed eight teachers about when and how particle concepts should be taught. All of the surveyed teachers argue for an early introduction. This view is also consistent with the scientists on when the particle concepts should be introduced. By an early introduction teachers and scientists consider the age between 6-12 years old. A majority of the scientists and the surveyed teachers use concept of change as a entery point to talk about particle ideas.
