The purpose of this study was to examine effects of hearing aid use and to do a judgment of the provement. The investigation was a pilot study and may be used in the clinic.The international form ?International Outcome Inventory for Hearing Aids? (IOI-HA) was used for data collection. Four questions were chosen from the form. These questions were answered by hearing aid users and their significant others.

This project includes a small study of Västerås city's housing needs, and a proposal on theuse of the property 1:207, Lantmännens silo in the Eastern Harbour, Västerås.The project intends to produce a basic study of the useful systems for this rebuilding projectwith regards to sustainable development and energy saving light buildings.The end result, which consists of a detailed visualization of the proposal, intends to becomean iconic natural focus for the Eastern port of Västerås and an example of the use andadaptation of existing structures.The property must also link the eastern parts of Västerås with the center through anextension of Mälarleden.The work has been performed through literature studies, site visits, contacts with the City ofVästerås and by calculations.The proposal consists of architectural proposals drawings and visualizations.Furthermore, a suggestion is given of how the property can be used and fitted into theoverall plan for urban density development currently underway in the city of Västerås.Computer programs used have been Microsoft Office Excel, AutoCAD and ArchiCAD..

Examensarbetet redogör för byggproduktionsplanering med en fördjupning inom tidsplaneringsmetoder- och verktyg, vilka kan användas som hjälpmedel inom området.  Inom fördjupningen gjordes två praktiska försök och intervjuer genomfördes för att få en verklig bild av hur planeringen fungerar, samt för att få feedback på försöken.  Arbetet resulterade i slutsatsen att olika planeringsmetoder bör användas i olika skeden av byggproduktionsplaneringen, samt att de olika planeringsmetoderna är till olika nytta för de varierande arbetsrollerna i en byggorganisation.  Man kan med fördel använda sig av en kombination av planeringsmetoderna, CPM, LOB och den relativt okända ?Kontinuitetsmetoden? när man planerar och styr sin byggproduktion.

Bakgrund och problem: Att ha ett hållbart synsätt har blivit allt viktigare för såväl människor som företag under de senaste decennierna. Den interna kommunikationen i organisationer är grundläggande när det kommer till styrning av hållbarhet men tidigare studier har visat att kommunikationen internt i företag inte prioriteras när hållbarhetsinitativ ska implementeras. Det finns många olika kanaler som kan användas för kommunikationen men ett problem kan ligga i att de anställda bli överösta med information och därav tappa intresset för hållbarhetsarbetet. Det finns även en problematik kring att företagsledningen förutsätter en kunskapsnivå hos medarbetarna som inte alltid förekommer. Syfte och frågeställning: Denna uppsats ämnar undersöka hur företag kommunicerar hållbarhet internt.

In this essay, I research and discuss new spirituality (or what is commonly known as New Age) within some congregations in the Church of Sweden, Gothenburg. I question how and why this new spirituality has come to be accepted in parts of the Church. My hypothesis is that the church is a part, and a reflection, of a larger change throughout society, and I claim that this change depends much on the individualization and globalization during the last decades.The research is conducted through interviews with representatives from the Church ofSweden who are in charge of new religious activities. During these interviews we discuss their views on the change that has already taken place and is going on today.The interviews are then analyzed by applying rational choice theory on them. I discusswhether the Church can be seen as a producer of goods and services and if the churchgoers canbe seen as consumers of these goods and services.

Genom intervjuer med respondenter som på olika plan är ansvariga för verksamhet ochvärdegrundsarbete i förskolan, har jag undersökt vilka uppfattningar om och tolkningar avbegreppet värdegrunden som råder inom förskolevärlden. Förskolechefer, arbetslag iförskolor, och representanter för olika politiska partier tillfrågades. Undersökningen omfattaräven om och hur värdegrunden i litteraturen (teori) överensstämmer med verklighetenspraktik. Genom svaren och analys av dessa drogs slutsatsen att värdegrunden i vårt alltmerindividcentrerade samhälle är av större betydelse och viktigare än någonsin. Begreppet?Värdegrunden? är till synes väl förankrad i de tillfrågade arbetslagen, men är mindre tydlighos rektorer och hos politiker.Att värdegrunden är en viktig del av Lpfö 98,( reviderad 2010) och att det därför ingår iuppdraget att förmedla dessa värden, uttalades inte direkt av någon respondentkategori.Respondenternas tankar kring begreppet ?Värdegrunden? och hur detta förankras iverksamheten visar dock på en medvetenhet och att det är mycket viktigt att fortsätta meddetta arbete..

Monstera Deliciosa är en serveringsbricka för servitriser och servitörer vid servering av drycker och tillbehör. Projektet växte fram då jag blickade bakåt i min tidigare yrkesroll som servitris på restaurang. Kroppen är hela tiden arbetsverktyget i många olika tunga arbetssituationer. Serveringsbrickan fungerar med olika variationsmöjligheter i användandet för att skapa mindre monoton belastning, det går att servera med både höger och vänster kroppshalva vilket annars har varit ett problem för serveringspersonal. Brickan kan alltså bäras vilande på arm/plan hand med val att kunna greppa fast brickan med fingrar i de urfrästa hålen, sedan på axel och sist vilande på höften.

Career counselors in schools have for a long time reported a feeling that their work is not as important as teachers work. According to the Swedish Curriculum for the compulsory schools, all staff is responsible for viable counseling for pupils. Therefore, this study focuses on teachers, headmasters and a school executive director view of school career counseling, how they experience the fulfillment of curriculum goals and how it interferes/interacts with their work. To analyze the empirical material we collected from interviews, we used theoretical terms of organizational theory with focus on social structures, differentiation and integration. Syftet med denna empiriska enkätstudie var att ta reda på sjuksköterskors inställning till användandet av standardvårdplaner (SVP), avseende användarvänlighet, kvalitetssäkerhet, dokumentation, SVP som ett arbetsredskap och införandet av SVP. 35 sjuksköterskor på två avdelningar på ett sjukhus i södra Sverige blev tillfrågade att delta i studien och 17 bestämde sig för att deltaga.Till slut delades det analyserade materialet in i fyra kategorier, med samma namn som nämns i syftet, användarvänlighet, kvalitetssäkerhet, dokumentation, SVP som ett arbetsredskap/införandet av SVP. Majoriteten av sjuksköterskorna som deltog i studien hade en positiv helhetsbild av SVP:n, men de flesta tyckte att den behövde vidareutvecklas för att få bättre struktur, då den ibland skapar mer arbete istället för att vara ett hjälpredskap. This has been a practical innovation graduation project withthe focus of studying the impacts of downsizing on a learningorganization. The study took place at Karlsson Spools in Sala.This has been a part of an ongoing EU project funded by theEuropean Social Fund, ESF. We have, with the help ofinterviews and surveys, gathered information on the presentsituation and with the help of theoretical studies built aframework on how a learning organization is viewed intheory.During our study we found that there are many componentsto a learning organization. The company in question hasdisplayed some qualities that characterize a learningorganization such as a plan to train and further develop theiremployees. The problem we found was lack of communicationand how this has resulted in a less successful outcome of theongoing courses.

Bakgrund: Världen har genomgått ett paradigmskifte och lämnat den industriella norm som en gång rådde där ett stort värde sågs i maskiner och landarealer. Det paradigm som råder idag är mer fokuserat på kunskap, patent, nätverk och idéer. Idéer har en central roll i samhället och har stor betydelse för dess utveckling då dessa idéer, med hjälp av driftiga entreprenörer, omsatts till uppfinningar och företag.Vår uppfattning är att en idé inte alltid omsätts till att bli ett framgångsrikt företag. Det kan därför diskuteras huruvida en ursprungsidé är tillräckligt bärkraftig för att nå marknaden. Vi ställer oss frågande till om det är meningsfullt att utvärdera en idé i ett tidigt skede.

The aim of the study is to find out what pre-school teachers perceived of the curriculum, regarding esthetic subjects. The study is built on the teachers thoughts and ideas about the esthetic work, and how it is supposed to help all children develop. How the teachers has interpreted the curriculum points on how they have chosen to work with the esthetic subjects. The study is based on interviews with six teachers, from two pre-schools. The material from the interviews has then been analyzed with theories and earlier research.The result shows that the teachers think that the esthetic expressions are a language, and that the pre-school is supposed to give the children the opportunity to experience different types, for example dance, music, drama and art.

Purpose/aim: The purpose of this thesis is to examine if, and in that case how, the municipality of Umeå worked strategically with its communication during 2014 when Umeå was chosen as ?European Capital of Culture?. The research is mainly focused on the outlines of their communication plan, main goals, what  communication strategies the municipality has chosen to and their choice of media channels.Material/method: Two methods are used for this research; qualitative interviews with four employees within the communication team during Umeå2014 and a text analysis of three formal documents which provide the framework of communication policies and media strategies during Umeå2014.Results: The results clearly indicate a well structured, strategic planning outlined in the formal documents. The four people intreviewed all had a good knowledge of the policies and strategies in the documents, they also described their work in accordance with these..

The overall purpose with this study was to examine the influence elderly people have over their granted home help. Specifically, the aim was to examine in what extent the image of the elderly as a unique individual emerges in the plans where the home help is described [?genomförandeplaner?]. A plan which is personally designed is used as an indicator of personal influence. A text analysis inspired by Michel Foucault?s discourse concept, was carried out and the study adopts the concepts standardization and categorization as well as the theory of ?Sense of coherence?.
