The purpose of Älvdalens besparingsskog is to develop the district and most of all the forestry in Älvdalen. It's owned by about 2 300 private forest owners who's landed properties are located in Älvdalen. Every year the besparingsskogen gives out a lot of its profit in form different types of subsidies for agriculture and forestry. The owners can apply for subsidies for several of the costs that occur in forestry. During the period 2000-2003 the owners are offered forest management plans and pcSKOG-gård at no cost for their private forest properties. The purpose of this master's thesis was to find out if the activity in the forestry changed when the forest owners got new forest management plans and the computer program pcSKOG-gård.

This report presents suggestions and recommendations on how to convert an old industrial building, built in 1958, to an office hotel. One of the main criteria was that the floor plan should be flexible. The building is situated at Jonsereds Fabriker and the study was conducted for Hantverkslokaler i Göteborg AB, the estate owner.The survey is initiated with study visits at various office hotels, together with studies of literature regarding office planning. One conclusion from the study visits is that meeting-places, where the different companies can meet and exchange ideas and services, are important. Another one, and probably the most important parameter when planning offices is that they should have windows.

The Act Prohibiting Discrimination and Other Degrading Treatment of Children and School Students (2006:67) entered into force on 1 of April 2006. The purpose of this Act is to promote equal rights for children and school students and to combat discrimination on the five discrimination grounds of sex, ethnic origin, religion or other belief, sexual orientation or disability. This Act also has the purpose of combating other degrading treatment. According to the Act the organiser of the activity shall insure that there is an equal treatment plan that aims to promote the equal rights for children and school students irrespective of the five discrimination grounds. Discrimination is a result of the social norms which tends to exclude people who does not fit in and therefore considerers as being abnormal.

Syftet med den föreliggande studien var att undersöka om kvinnor och män efter en hotad könsidentitet framställde sig själva som mer könsstereotypt kvinnligt respektive manligt. Dessutom undersöktes skillnader av könsidentitetshot utifrån en tvärkulturell jämförelse mellan män och kvinnor i Argentina och Sverige. De hypoteser som låg till grund för undersökningen var följande: (1) Både män och kvinnor framställer sig mer könsstereotypt manligt respektive kvinnligt efter att deras könsidentitet blivit hotad (2) Det finns tvärkulturella skillnader beträffande självstereotypering efter hotad könsidentitet mellan Argentina och Sverige. Data från 242 studenter (121 kvinnor och 121 män) samlades in med hjälp av dels ett paradigm för könsidentitetshot och dels av en skala som syftade till att mäta graden av självstereotypering. Deltagarna i Argentina och Sverige tillhörde samhällsinriktade utbildningar.

This plan of multiple-use is made on the private owned forestproperty Äspinge 2:2 in the middle of Skåne. The term ?multiple-use? came to Sweden in the beginning of the twentieth century and has slowly grown until about 30 years ago when the laws of nature conservation and sustainability was written into the forest law. The so called ecoturism got more and more popular and people began to seek space and silence in difference to the life in the highly populated areas. This also encouraged foreign tourists to come to Sweden. Mostly danish, german, and dutch people.

The purpose of this study is to examine the medial depiction of Muslims in the case of Pastor Terry Jones' intention to burn the Quran. Our study is based on theoretical framework regarding an alleged clash of civilizations, how that leads to global conflicts and controls the world politics. It?s also based on the western way of characterize Muslims as violent, irrational human beings, and how mass media have a tendency to depict Muslims as ?the others?. The questions we aim to seek answers to are: How were Muslims portrayed in CNN's and Al-Jazeera's reporting regarding Terry Jones plan to burn the Quran? Which discourses exist about Muslims in each news channel and what are the main differences between them? The qualitative method used is a critical discourse analysis on empirical data consistently of twelve articles.

Emulering och simulering omfattar ett brett spektrum av varierande tekniker på olika nivåer, som involverar både mjuk-, och hårdvaruparadigm. Denna rapport är utformad utifrån ett arkitekturellt perspektiv och ämnar att återge en kortfattad studie av ämnen relaterade till design av en generell referensarkitektur för emulatorer.Särskilt fokus har lagts på sammansättningen av de olika komponenter som vanligtvis utgör en emulator, och dessa ställs sedan i jämförelse med den arkitektur, skapad av Von-Neumann, som idag används i den moderna datorn.Målet är att identifiera de mest lämpade arkitekturella strategierna för att kunna uppnå kvalitetskrav som flexibilitet, generalitet och funktionell lämplighet. Vid skapandet av en prototyp görs en avvägning mellan olika tekniker, vilket resulterar i en hybrid mellan tidskritiska och händelsedrivna paradigm. Vidare jämförs befintliga arkitekturer där modularitet mellan komponenter visar sig vara en återkommande egenskap inom samtliga designer.Det viktigaste resultatet vi kom fram till är att en tillståndsmaskin ofta har en betydande roll inom händelsedrivna system. För den prototyp som designats resulterade detta i en tillståndsmaskin med svagt kopplade deltillstånd som tillsammans leder till aktivering av olika huvudtillstånd, något som går i linje med icke-Von Neumann-alternativ..

To be able to plan for the expansion of a town, one needs a vision of the future appear-ance of the town. It is the current issues (social situation, supply and demand, political control etc.) which decide what the ideal for town planning is. This is turn is the steering factor of the physical structure of the town. Therefore, the town's structure is decided by these ideals.In this report, I will present planning ideals that have historically been, and which criticisms that have been directed towards them. With reference to these issues, I will present those guidelines and ideals we have today for planning of our towns.

The purpose has been to study what teachers mean whit special aid, and if the support is individually adapted for each students needs. I have trougt interviews, observations and examinations of diverse documents found paradoxes where teachers and the scool leaders claim that they work whit the integration of all the students at school, while the teality shows a different picture. I have found a clear segregation of students, where they have on repeated occasions had to leave the classroom to receive tuition. The school stuff has a wide iiew of wich students are included in the term "students in need of special tuition".

The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers in primary schools experience the situation of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in their regular classes and also how they plan their teaching for these pupils. The empirical study did intend to answer the following two questions; how do teachers experience the situation of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in their regular classes? How is teaching of newly arrived immigrant pupils in regular classes being formed? A qualitative method was used in the form of interviews with five primary school teachers from two different schools. The overall perspective I have assumed in this study is the sociocultural perspective, but I have also taken up a second language perspective and an intercultural perspective. All the teachers in the study have described their experiences of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in terms of difficult, tough and demanding at the beginning, but nowadays somewhat easier.

The purpose of this essay is to identify the criticism that has been directed towards the traditional description of Judas Iscariot as a traitor. After a survey and analysis of the critical revisionists' arguments, a discussion follows regarding the possible effects this may have on future ways of describing Judas Iscariot.Based on the results that have been elucidated, this essay concludes that the traditional description of Judas in recent times has been forced to endure fairly strong criticism. To summarize this criticism, the main argument raised by today?s revisionists consists of linguistic and historical phenomena. According to these Judas Iscariot has been subject to a, according to some, deliberate demonization; where he over time has become portrayed as more blameworthy.

Slakteriverksamhet blir allt mer intressant med tanke på de ständiga variationerna i slaktsvinspriset, en av flera stora osäkerhetsfaktorer inom lantbruksbranschen. Genom att komplettera olika verksamheter inom animalieproduktion med ett slakteri har man möjlighet till att investera sig till en större säkerhet genom att man har hela produktionsledet fram till konsumenten. Syftet med projektet är att undersöka om det går att få lönsamhet i ett mindre slakteri samt vilka formella krav som ställs. Därför togs kontakt med en mindre slakteriägare som bedriver slakteriverksamhet lokalt i Blekinge. Denna slakteriägare utgör huvudkällan till arbetet. Det första man ska söka vid ett ägarbyte är tillstånd. Beroende på hur mycket köttprodukter du producerar ansöker du antingen till kommunen eller till Livsmedelsverket.

Several authors, who have argued that women should not have the same rights as men, are mentioned in the book. One of them is Rousseau. His thoughts about different education for girls and boys are shown in Émile.

This study shows how to plan a pond with an ecosystem which although it will have turtles living in it will not need to be cared. I will also demonstrate how this pond would be designed to work in the natural landscape on Mallorca. The background to the study is that I am interested to investigate how plants that we in Sweden are using as indoor plants are growing in their natural landscape and how to build a land-scape with them. The study highlights different cleaning-systems that can be used to clean a pond in a natural way. A comparison will be made between the conditions of an exterminated turtle-species which will live in this environment and a species that is easier to care for.
