Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskestudenter kan känna sig sårbara i början av sin verksamhetsförlagda utbildning (VFU) och kan påverkas både positivt och negativt av bemötandet från både handledare och övrig personalgrupp.Syfte: Att undersöka sjuksköterskestudenters upplevelser av bemötande från handledare och övrig personalgrupp och hur detta påverkar förmågan att utföra omvårdnad, samt studenternas upplevelse av studentrollen.Metod: Kvalitativ forskningsdesign med fem semistrukturerade intervjuer.Resultat: Resultatet delades in i tre huvudkategorier: Bemötande från handledare; Bemötande från övrig personalgrupp och Studentroll. Ett bra bemötande karaktäriserades av vänlighet, involvering i arbetet och förmedlande av trygghet. Ett dåligt bemötande kunde bestå av försummelse, att känna sig i vägen och dålig struktur. Studenterna hade haft skiftande roller under VFU och samtliga hade positiva aspekter. Studenterna upplevde att de hade utvecklats i sin förmåga att utföra omvårdnad.Slutsats: Studien påvisar att det är viktigt för studenter hur de blir bemötta på sin VFU, och vilken roll de får på arbetsplatsen.

Swedish law (SOL 2001:45, LVU 1990:52) has gone through several changes to promote participation. The law also includes that young people should be able to participate even during a Placement at youth detentions.  The aim of this study is to describe how young people at youth detentions are participated in their treatment plans. The questions of the study were: How and where are the young opinions produced in their treatment plans; how did the opinions change during the time in detention; and how have the opinions been considered at youth detentions? Participation is a wide concept with different meanings. The meaning of participation in this study is that youth have been listened to and that their opinions have been paid attention to.

AbstractDelta Terminal owns an outdated industrial building which they now rent out to businesses. This property currently has a high energy con-sumption and therfore it is desirable to improve the efficiency. In ordet to reduce the energy consumption within the industrial building enve-lope, the heating systems and lighting are being investegated. A good building envelope emits less heat and thus reduces the energy consump-tion. An energy audit is a tool used to determine the energy loss.

Nilsson, Henrik och Waern, Anneli (2006) Kan vi undvika eller minska antalet skoldaghemsplaceringar? (Can we avoid or decrease resourse school Placement?) Skolutveckling och ledarskap, Lärarutbildningen, Malmö högskola. Vi vill med arbetet undersöka om hemskolor kan skapa en bättre skolmiljö för barn som riskerar att placeras på skoldaghem. Vi vill se om skoldaghemsplaceringarna därigenom skulle kunna undvikas eller i vart fall minskas. Syftet med arbetet är att utifrån Antonovskys KASAM-teori undersöka hur personalen på skoldaghemmen upplever att de skapar en fungerande skolgång för eleverna och huruvida de anser att det är möjligt att applicera detta arbetssätt på hemskolorna så att skoldaghemsplaceringar undviks eller minskas. I arbetet redogörs för faktorer som påverka elevers skoldaghemsplacering. Vi vill genom intervjuer undersöka hur personalen på skoldaghem skapar bättre undervisningsmiljö för elever i riskzonen. Resultatet i vår undersökning visar att den intervjuade skoldaghemspersonalen anser att skoldaghemsplaceringar möjligen kan undvikas i vissa fall, men att flertalet elever som vistas på skoldaghemmen ändå är i behov av den miljö som skoldaghemmet kan erbjuda. Av vårt arbete kan vi dra slutsatser att elever som riskerar att bli placerade på skoldaghem ofta behöver; få och nära vuxenkontakter, ha möjlighet att vistas i mindre grupper, strukturerat och avskalat undervisningsstoff och mycket positiv förstärkning.

This study examines retail atmospherics from a reality perspective. The topic "special exposure" has received research interest in the past but it has not been recognized as a critical consideration in the daily retail business. Too many retailers leave assortment decisions to thumb rules or trial and error. The highest aim of this study is in addressing that gap between theory and practice. To catch the attention of the customer is important in supermarkets because most grocery purchase decisions are made at the point of purchase.

Tomo Hugglink (TOMO Skog) is an innovation for harvest and transport of biofuels. The system consists of a truck, a chipping unit and crane mounted on a link and a wood chip trailer. The system works in such a way that the chipping unit is disconnected and placed on the site and wood chips are loaded directly into the wood chip trailer.The aim of this study was:- To examine the performance of the TOMO Hugglink system under different conditions such as the size, Placement and quality of the pile.- To calculate the cost per raw ton for two vehicle combinations at different transport distances and to examine the effect of a reduction in set-up time and an increase in load weight.- To identify possible improvements with the TOMO Hugglink system.A time study was conducted within the thesis work to make it possible to determine production and time consumption. In the subsequent economic analysis the cost per tone at different transport distances was calculated for two different lorry concepts. Furthermore the effect of a reduction in set-up time and an increase in load weight was calculated.Under current conditions the utilization of the chipper is low and only 29 % of the total system time is occupied by chipping.

To be able to handle tomorrows need for limited energy consumption we need to reduce our use of energy. The building sector stands for around 40 % of all energy consumption in the society. The government has put up a goal to reduce the energy consumption in our buildings with 20 % by year 2020 and 50 % by year 2050 compared with year 1995. To be able to do reach that goal we need a more energy efficient building stock.The main part of the energy used in our buildings is used for space heating. By installing ventilation systems with heat recovery on the exhaust air it is possible to use the heat-energy in the exhaust air to warm up the incoming air.

The intention of this study was to examine the interaction between authorities. More specifically it had a purpose to look at the ongoing cooperation between social workers and staff of special homes of closed institutional youth care. The sanction system for young offenders? reform of 1999 where young people between the ages of 15-17 who have committed serious crimes, can be sentenced to secure institutional treatment instead of prison, aims to counteract the harm which can result from a stay in prison. The social welfare board in the young person´s local authority and the national board of institutional care shall cooperate during the youth?s Placement at the special home of closed institutional youth care.

This bachelor thesis is about illustrating the fundamental principles for planning, locatingand designing bicycle parking spaces. The study aims to give an understanding of theneed and demand for bicycle parking spaces today, as well as to determine how these canbe met according to different theories. The study also aims to investigate the issue withincorrectly parked bicycles, which occurs frequently in the cityscape and therefore createsan obstacle in street spaces.An observational study on the new bicycle lots along Götgatan was conducted in orderto analyze how the theories of bicycle parking spaces are applied in practice. Cyclistswere then interviewed in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the cyclists? revealedpreferences.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how Digital Signage systems such as public info kiosks can be designed to better fulfill its main use; to enlighten, encourage and influence the public with information. The challenges presented from earlier studies shows that the public interests and goals, together with proper and relevant content displayed in info kiosks have impact on the attention the public have towards public displays. Qualitative methods such as interviews, usability testing and observations were conducted to further examine how a public info kiosk can be designed to draw attention and grow interest amongst students at K3, Malmo University. Usability testing were used on the digital prototypes that were developed to ensure that the gestural user interface meet the requirements of a proper interaction from the users. Important insights were made concerning; the attention and interest to relevant content, the aspects of the gestural user interface along with the Placement of the info kiosk in terms of context.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the public libraries work towards SFI (Swedish For Immigrants) based on the views of the overseeing librarians. To study this we have asked the following research questions:What distinguishes the public libraries? work towards SFI according to the responsible librarians? What distinguishes the communication between SFI teachers and the librarians according to the responsible librarians? What opinions are held by the librarians in regards to their work with SFI?We have used a semi structured interview method with seven librarians in charge of the activities with SFI at small and medium sized public libraries in a rural area of Sweden. The theoretical framework is composed of Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model for analysis of the local public library profile and the authors? definition of collaboration.

Syftet med vår studie var att få en inblick i hur familjehemsföräldrar ser på sitt uppdrag utifrån följande frågeställningar:Vilka motiv och förväntningar finns till att vilja bli familjehem?Hur har uppdraget som familjehem påverkat relationerna i familjen?Har familjehemmen avlastning eller behov av det?Vilken syn har familjehemmen på handledning?Hur resonerar familjehemmen kring den ekonomiska ersättningen?Studien genomfördes med utgångspunkt i kvalitativa intervjuer, där vi tillsammans intervjuade 9 olika familjehem knutna till Kristianstads kommun. I 7 av intervjuerna medverkade båda familjehemsföräldrarna, i 2 intervjuer medverkade den ena familjehemsföräldern; sammanlagt 16 respondenter.Intervjuerna transkriberades, analyserades och presenterades sedan på två olika sätt. Utifrån meningskategorisering presenterades resultatet dels i idealtyper samt tematiskt utifrån citat.Familjehemsföräldrarna i vår studie har en samsyn som par i hur de ser på sitt uppdrag, och att de arbetar väl tillsammans. I vår studie fann vi 5 olika idealtyper, som illustrerar hur de ser på olika frågor.

This thesis is a study of humidity at Knauf Danogips external plasterboard. The study is performed at the building project Kv. Maskinen in Jönköping in cooperation with NCC Construction AB and Knauf Danogips. The measuring was performed during five winter/spring months to see how the weather influenced the plasterboard.The measuring was performed at a small two-storied building and a larger fourstoried building. From the buildings` Placement were a couple of measuring dots selected and to get a good result was the dots located in the four cardinal points.

During the last Century a tremendously technical advancement has taken place and brought a change in society, which has affected workplaces in a monumental way. Many heavily and moveable physical working tasks at the work Placement have been replaced with much easier and sedentary tasks.Two of the major reasons for sick absence in Sweden are illness in the locomotive organs and pain, which can be treated and prevented with physical activity on a large scale. This thesis examines representations of animals in three editions of L?sebok f?r folkskolan, the state-distributed Swedish elementary school reader first published in 1868. The aim is to deepen the understanding of the educative and formative function of animal representations in normative teaching materials during the early development of the Swedish elementary school in the late 19th century. The study analyses the 1868, 1878 and 1899 editions, asking how animals are portrayed, to which recurring themes they are linked, and which constants and changes can be discerned across the editions.The study is conducted as a qualitative comparative text analysis, framed by John Berger?s notion of the animal as both kin and other to the human.
