This project concerns a new lower and mid level compulsory school in the currently developing area of Annedal, northwest of central Stockholm. According to the given program, the school should hold 500 pupils and 100 pre-school children. As an addition to the given program, my suggustion holds a sports hall and a public library.In my project, my ambition has been to investigate how to create an inspiring and exiting place for kids to inhabit and, at the same time, create an activated, central place in a developing suburb. The latter has resulted in the two program-related additions, which purposes is to extend the hours during which the area is activated and to create additional incitements for visiting the building. Both additions are chosen based on lack of service in the area. Architectually, I've been inspired by the medieval castle which has been used as an inspirational resource for the parts of the school holding classrooms.

SammanfattningBakgrund och Problem: Varumärkesarbete i företag har under senare år blivit av allt större vikt där insikter kring företags aktiviteter och omdöme har fått större utrymme och inflytande ut mot marknadens aktörer och deras val och interaktioner. Det händer ibland att ett företag helt byter varumärke, detta som fenomen kallas rebranding. Genom denna rebrandingprocess finns det flera kritiska moment vid implementeringen av det nya varumärket. Denna problematik har vi valt att studera med färgfackhandeln Happy Homes som studieobjekt och hur detta varumärkesarbete ut mot Växjö Färg & Tapet som franchisetagare fungerat.Syfte: Avsikten med uppsatsen är att redogöra för de steg och moment inom implementeringsarbetet vid rebranding som vidtas samt vilka olika påverkande aspekter som kan härledas till de aktiviteter som kan uppstå i processen. Vi har för uppsatsen ett syfte vilket ämnar att: ?Beskriva hur implementeringsarbetet vid en intern rebranding mellan ett företag och en ny franchisetagare kan ske på ett effektivare sätt.?Metod:Vi har arbetat genom en kvalitativ metod med en deduktiv ansats där vi gått från teori till empiri vilket vi sedan analyserat och dragit slutsatser ifrån.

De senaste 20 åren har många nya marknads- och managementdicipliner dykt upp och alla har förebådat en ny era av effektivare ledning. Employer branding är en av dem och det finns goda skäl som talar för att den har kommit för att stanna. Fler och fler företag börjar inse att anställda, precis som kunder, gör medvetna val av arbetsgivare. Det går inte längre ta de anställdas engagemang och lojalitet för givet utan det krävs ett mer fokuserat och sammanhängande förhållningssätt för att attrahera rätt sorts människor.Svensk skogsindustri står inför en rad problem och utmaningar som, beroende på hur de tacklas, kommer att bli avgörande för industrins fortsatta utveckling. Till skillnad från vad många tror har svensk skogsindustri ingen uttalad kompetensfördel trots en del branschspecifika utbildningar.Syftet med examensarbetet är att definiera skogsindustrins framtida konkurrensfördelar ur ett medarbetarperspektiv genom att beskriva skogsindustrins employer value proposition (EVP).

Under stor del av 1900-talet var det enligt nordiska byggnormer förbjudet att använda trästommar i byggnader med fler än två våningar. 1994 upphörde förbudet och istället infördes brandtekniska funktionskrav, vilket innebär att konstruktionen enbart måste uppfylla vissa krav och att material därefter kan väljas fritt. I detta examensarbete har jag undersökt hur flerfamiljshus skall utformas med hänseende till brand och yttre påverkan, samt hur trä som byggnadsmaterial kan begränsa den arkitektoniska utformningen. I Gävle finns för tillfället inga större flervåningshus utformade helt och hållet i trä, därför har studierna utförts i samarbete med Gävle kommun. Examensarbetet består av en teoretisk del och en tillämpningsfas i vilken förslag på byggnadsutformning arbetats fram, tänkt lokalisering för byggnaderna är Gävle Strand.Dokumentationer från liknande projekt visar att det varit relativt enkelt att få byggnader i trä att uppfylla de brandtekniska krav som ställs.

Sports facilities are a highly unexplored field, and as of the autumn 2008 no research is being conducted about sports fields at Swedish architecture universities. Very few people recognize the sports field as an area for the architecture profession, and to gain more information about sports fields I have discussed the subject with people with connections to architecture and/or sport. The sports field represents a type of sports facility, a permanent football and/or bandy field surrounded by running tracks with appropriate measurements. Like the city?s physical environment, the sports field is a public place, where outdoor activities take place.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate peoples experience when listening at audio books. During recent years the use of audio books has increased significantly. With that knowledge and the fact that this is an almost unexplored area within Library- and Information science our interest grew even stronger. The thesis is based on two different theories. To be able to place audio books in a context we have applied a media- consumption perspective by asking questions like when, where and how the media-consumption takes place.

Ända sen lagstiftarna i 1944, 1962 och 1974 års brandlagsstiftning samt 1986 års räddningstjänstlag har det funnits en strävan att öka kommunernas ansvar för brandsläckning, räddningstjänst och förebyggande brandskydd. I Lagen om skydd mot olyckor (2003:778) ska de olika aktörernas ansvar gällande brandsäkerhet tydliggöras, vilket kan ses som en naturlig utveckling av samhällets strävan mot en bättre brandsäkerhet. För att tillgodose kraven som Lagen om skydd mot olyckor ställer på ägare och nyttjanderättshavare så bör ett s.k. Systematiskt Brandskyddsarbete (SBA) bedrivas under hela byggnadens/anläggningens tid för användning och skall omfatta såväl verksamhet som organisation.Landstinget är en aktör som berörs av Lagen om skydd mot olyckor eftersom en brand i ett sjukhus eller vårdinrättning kan, av lätt förståeliga skäl, få katastrofala följder. Landstinget i Värmland har de senaste åren genomfört en koncernövergripande översyn av sitt totala säkerhetsarbete.

The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of how an individual's identity is constructed and reinforced through clothing brands. This we intend to achieve by studying and analyzing the significance of clothing brands on consumers. In close proximity to this purpose, we have chosen to work with three research questions:? How do consumers see clothing as a means to express themselves? ? What perception does consumers have on clothing brands as identity creators? ? How do consumers value wearing clothes from a particular clothing brand?.

This work is about the rights of children, how students use social media and how effective teachers are using social media in their work against abusive treatment. The purpose of this work is to examine what students have rights in school, what and how students use social media and how schools and teachers are working to prevent the abuse that takes place over the internet and via mobile phones. The method used to investigate this is partly a survey of students in grades five and six at four different schools and interviews with four practicing teachers, working as a teacher in each class who made survey. My conclusion is that children have a variety of rights in school, and all schools and teachers are working on this through rules, values ??clarification and collaborative exercises. More and more younger children use out of social media, the survey shows that many of the students in grades five and six uses much social media.

The focus of this two year master?s thesis in Library- and Information science is the study of two Swedish Public Library buildings with the examples Lomma and Halmstad. The main goal and purpose of the thesis is to try to uncover which views and values of the public library are expressed in the examined libraries; and to what extent these views manifests are shown in its architecture.The theoretical framework is based on Raymond Williams?s cultural concepts of effective, dominant culture and the two extremities of this culture, called residual and emergent cultures. A second aspect is Yi-Fu Tuans concepts of Space and Place.

 Målet med examensarbetet har varit att formge en produkt för en tågstation. Tre viktiga ledord har följt mig genom projektets gång; hållbarhet, användning och vardagens estetik. Jag har med hjälp av observationer, intervjuer med tågresenärer och användarstudier kommit fram till ett produktkoncept för kontexten tågstation; möbeln Find Your Place, som består av komfortabla kuddar uppsatta på en vägg som är till för att stå och luta sig mot medan man väntar på tåget.  Samtidigt med researchen skissade jag både i 2- och i 3D under arbetsprocessens gång. Som ett stöd i min designprocess gjorde jag i ett tidigt skede en ITK (Identity Tool Kit). Arbetet har gått ut på att utnyttja de lediga väggarna på en tågstation. Genom att montera upp kuddar på som en vägg blir den mer tillgänglig på ett dynamiskt sätt. Kuddarna är asymmetriska och påminner om soffdynor i gatstensliknande former.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate contents in the news in order to search for similarities between the two television news reports, Rapport and Nyheterna. The news features that I examined in my investigation were broadcast in April and May 2006.SVT and TV4 are two Television channels both belonging to the analogue television network in Sweden, which means that they reach out to almost the whole country. Hence I thought it was interesting to investigate their reports on similar news.The question:- Which are the similarities and differences between how the two programmes describe their reporting on similar news?When I put together the information from the two programmes in the schedule I based my analysis on the following questions: topic, place, length, type of reporting and per-sons/sources.The method for this investigation is a quantitative content analysis. However, some part of the collection of information and description/interpretation of the material is qualita-tive.Rapport and Nyheterna had an average of 15 similar news features per week, of which foreign news dominated.

This work has been made in cooperation with the municipality of Eslöv and the inventory area is a part of the deepening of the municipality plan of east Eslöv. The aim of the work is to test the principle of balance in the overall planning. Later in the detailed planning process a more detailed calculation is made and a suggestion of suitable measures for compensation is made. Then the method with green area factors can be used. The goal is to balance the negative influence on the environment from the planned impacts to gain a sustainable development of the city. The principle of balance means that the one responsible for the development also has to compensate for the negative impacts on nature and landscape that comes with the development.

The aim of this study is to examine how librarians experience implementations of changes in the physical space of the public library. The study seeks to answer the following questions from the librarians? perspective: What are the underlying reasons for changes in the physical space of the library? What are the important functions of the public library to the community residents? What reactions do librarians get from community residents after changes in the physical space of the public library? The study is based on semi-structured interviews with librarians working at seven small public libraries in Sweden. A model of four library spaces, which was developed by Andersson and Skot-Hansen in 1994 and refined in 2012, is used as a theoretical framework to help analyzing the results. The majority of the libraries are structured according to the older version of the model.

Denna rapport berör ämnet stegutrymning från flerbostadshus med eller utan hjälp av räddningstjänsten. En förstudie har gjorts av Brandforsk där bland annat räddningstjänsten som den alternativa utrymningsvägen har undersökts. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka räddningstjänstens olika möjligheter och begränsningar samt att undersöka hur det mänskliga beteendet vid brand är, särskilt med avseende på de regler som styr hur byggnader ska utformas. Olika personer har uttalat sig om räddningstjänsten som den alternativa utrymningsvägen. Bland annat genom att påpeka att det inte alltid fungerar i praktiken och att bemanningen inte alltid är tillräcklig hos räddningstjänsterna.
