The theory of deliberative democracy believes in collective decision-making to achieve an expanded legitimacy and rationality in the political process. It is argued that those good public dialogues best take places in public spheres between citizens, where the common interest is carefully thought about. This thesis was done with the assumption that theatre can strengthen the idea of the public sphere and create a meeting place in the civil society, where a good public dialogue can appear. To create a good public dialogue you need citizens that are corresponding and participatory. Citizens who participate in the political process develop an increased knowledge about the society and the more knowledge about the society the larger reason to participate.

Syftet med studien var att belysa hur motivation på arbetsplatsen kan betraktas från ett inre och yttre perspektiv, med utgångspunkt från ett antal specifika faktorer såsom samhörighet, kompetens, autonomi och kontroll i tillvaron. 126 respondenter, 99 kvinnor och 27 män besvarade en enkät som bestod av demografiska frågor, frågor kring chefens stöttande av autonomi, frågor om samhörighet, kompetens och arbetsmotivation samt ett testbatteri bestående av IMI scale, Work Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation Scale och Locus of Control. Studiens resultat visar att chefens stöttande av autonomi påverkade de anställdas inre arbetsmotivation positivt. Studien visar även på att det finns ett svagt samband mellan inre arbetsmotivation och tillfredsställelsen av de anställdas behov av autonomi och samhörighetAbstractThe purpose of this study was to see how work place motivation can be seen from an intrinsic and extrinsic perspective, with starting point from specific factors such as relatedness, competence, autonomy and control. The 126 respondents of the study, 99 women and 27 men, answered a questionnaire that consisted of a few demographic questions, questions about if the boss is supportive of autonomy, questions about relatedness, competence and work place motivation.

Söktjänsten på Gula Sidorna innefattar sökningar på produkter, varor och tjänster och där görs tusentals sökningar varje dag. Enligt Eniro finns en del problem med söktjänsten och syftet med studien är att fastställa vilka dessa problem är och om systemet med språkteknologiska metoder kan förbättra träffarnas relevans, omfattning och rankning.Studiens huvudsakliga frågeställning är om det är möjligt att med språkteknologiska metoder förbättra sökningen på Gula Sidorna med avseende på träffarnas relevans och täckning samt rankning av dessa träffar, och vilka språkteknologiska metoder som i så fall mest höjer systemets kvalitet utifrån användningssynpunkt, inom ramarna för företagets intressen.Genom lingvistisk analys av en månads sökordssökningar på www.gulasidorna.eniro.se identifierades sju olika problemtyper utifrån hur väl träffarna matchade sökfrasens syntax och semantik. Med bakgrund i systemets existerande struktur och den typ av data som finns lagrad togs ett antal lösningsförslag fram utifrån teorier om språkteknologiska metoder i informationssökningssystem. Sju kortsiktiga och fem långsiktiga lösningar presenterades och dess effekter på prestationen vid en eventuell implementering diskuterades. Med nämnda förbättringsförslag som grund gavs förslag på hur rankningssystemet för Gula Sidorna skulle kunna förbättras.Slutsatser som kan dras utifrån resultaten är att de kortsiktiga lösningarna vid implementering bör kunna lösa drygt hälften av de identifierade problemen.

Jag har studerat en liten torgbildning på Hisingen, Göteborg, i området Jättesten. Platsen är intressant då den har många besökare trots att den ligger vid sidan av de större stråken. Platsen har en del gestaltningsproblem och stora nivåskillnader, som gör den svår och otillgänglig. Intresset för torg och offentliga rum är större än någonsin och välgestaltade gemensamma platser har anlagts i nya bostadsområden såsom Norra Älvstranden i Göteborg, Hammarby sjöstad i Stockholm och Västra hamnen i Malmö. Men vad händer med förortstorgen från efterkrigstiden? Hur används 40-, 50- och 60-talets torg idag? I mitt examensarbete har jag också studerat olika torgstrukturer från olika epoker under 1900-talet då byggnadsidealen skilt sig åt.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the process and result of renovations in socioeconomic vulnerable areas affect the residents' right to housing; with a focus on women's experiences of their homes, their area, the housing company's apartment renovations. The study is conducted through two research questions: How do the women in L?vg?rdet experience their homes and the area? And how do the women in L?vg?rdet experience the process and the result of the renovations of the rental apartments? The methodology used is qualitative research interviews. The empirical material was gathered through qualitative interviews. Eight women living in L?vg?rdet have been interviewed.

This masters thesis aims at a discussion about whether the public library will be an educating and cultivating society institution in the future. The method used is a combination of interviews with library staff in leading position and studies of the public librarys relationship to cultivation and adult education in a changeable society. The work concentrates on two main questions. One is about what, and in which way, changes, that are important for the public library and that take place in society now or within the next ten years, affect the future activities of the library. The other is about the public librarys relationship to cultivation in general and in the future.

This paper is about transferring a feeling from a physical place to the Internet. The paper explores methods on how this transfer is done. Websites have a tendency to not portray the company behind it in a correct way. For companies with a distinct esthetic and work hard on their image and brand it is important that this hard work is portrayed correctly in every aspect. The problems this paper explores are: the importance of personas in a design process, methods of transferring a feeling from a physical place with design and how this can be tested, and using open-source content management systems in creating usable websites.

This essay presents a comparative analysis of five Swedish translations of three Russian poems: The twelve (??????????) written by Alexander Blok, Requiem (???????) written by Anna Akhmatova and End song (????? ?????) written by Marina Tsvetayeva. The introductory readings of the Swedish translations texts are combined with a parallel reading of the Russian original. In addition to the primary literature I execute readings of secondary literature concerning the Russian, modernistic context, the poets? biographies and the translator?s commentaries concerning the working process of translation.

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to investigate teachers´attitudes to and work with outdoor education in preschool. The aim is also to identify the opportunities and barriers that exist to conduct outdoor education. In my research I have interviewed six preschool teachers in a medium sized municipality, where five of the teachers worked in the suburbs to the Big City and one teacher worked in the downtown Big City. All respondents in the study were in favor of conducting outdoor education. The respondents claimed that it promoted children´s health and motor skills. The result also shows that the teachers saw a great opportunity for learning related to outdoor education, by using the resources of nature.

The aim of this study is to describe how the cooperation between franchisee and franchisor evolves over time. The parties? work responsibilities are explored as an ingredient of the cooperation. Creation of relational aspects is also studied, as well as how adaptation of the concept is handled throughout the partnership. This study takes on an abductive approach and is based on interviews with franchisees of one franchise system, performed at different stages of the respective cooperations.

Internet is used today as a traditional medium for information exchange and social interaction. One of these is virtual meeting places where people meet and exchange information, socialize and exchange knowledge with each other. The group has chosen to examine the factors affecting the use of web forums, one of the virtual meeting places that exist on the Internet today. And look at how people use the web forum today in the current situation and how to design a web forum.A survey was conducted to find out how people look at web forums today, 80 people participated, and they got to talk about what they think about different web forums regarding how and why the use these them. Guidelines on how a web forum should be designed were also developed.

Den här uppsatsen analyserar språkkomplexitet i inrikesartiklar i Svenska Dagbladet och Expressen från åren 1952, 1982 och 2012. Syftet med undersökningen är att studera eventuella mönster och tendenser i vad som kännetecknar språkkomplexitet i artiklarna för respektive tidning och år och hur språkkomplexiteten förändrats över tid. Analysen genomförs med stöd i etablerade teorier om stilistik och lingvistisk komplexitet. Vidare analyseras artiklarnas språkkomplexitet både kvantitativt och kvalitativt med ett särskilt analysverktyg som utvecklats i den här studien för att just undersöka lingvistisk komplexitet. Exempel på variabler som undersöks med koppling till språklig komplexitet är menings- och ordlängd samt variabler nära kopplat till tidningsformatet som fått lite skrivit om sig inom stilistiken, exempelvis antal repliker och längd på stycken.Undersökningens resultat visar att artiklarna i både Svenska dagbladet och Expressen inte, som resultat i tidigare forskning påpekat, gått en rak väg mot mindre komplext språk: artiklarna från 1982 har genomgående ett språk som är mindre komplext än artiklarna från 2012.

AbstractThe purpose of my essay is to describe how some educators perceive the cooperation that takes place every day in the team to wich they belong. To do this, I have implemented six qualitative interviews with educators at two diffrent workteams. I based my questions on three scientific questions:- How does the cooperation in the team work?- How has the cooperation between the various kind of educators developedsince the pre-school class and the leisure-time centres was integrated with the school?- Which conditions exist for a good cooperation?The result showed that there were both similarities and differences between the teams, but common to both teams was that the educators felt that there have been some major positive changes to the cooperation in the teams in the last few years and that they were fairly satisfied with how the cooperation of their teams function now. Mostly they cooperates during school hours with various school projects, but questions concerning the pupils wellbeing is also an important area of cooperation.Since the integration was implemented, the cooperation has become more equal and the various educators have found their respective roles.

Animals in zoos live in small enclosed areas. If a pathogen is introduced to the zoo, the animals are extremely vulnerable. The highest risk of introducing new pathogens occurs when new animals are introduced to the collection. Therefore it is essential that zoos have a protocol in place for disease prevention. This review has studied literature on the subject of disease prevention protocols when translocating animals between zoos.
