I detta arbete undersöks en animerad karaktärs rörelser för att se vad som upplevs som stereotypiska manliga och kvinnliga rörelser. En könsneutral karaktär skapas och det animeras två gånganimationer och två springanimationer med antingen stereotypa manligaeller kvinnliga rörelser. Animationerna visas sedan för fem grafiker och fem icke-grafiker för att se hur de tolkar och upplever animationerna, och om de genom animationernas rörelserkan avgöra om det är en man eller en kvinna. Respondenternas svar analyseras och sammanfattas sedan i ett resultat. Det undersöks hur rörelserna påverkar vår uppfattning när vi ska avgöra om det är en man eller kvinna vi ser.

A self-esteem that is contingent on affirmation from others leaves the individual psychologically vulnerable. Ccontingent self-esteem has been shown to be either relationship or competence based. The aim of the current study was to examine the relationship between relationship based self-esteem, competence based self-esteem, the under dimensions of those, and self-efficacy. Questionnaires were handed out to 69 university students. The results indicated that competence based self-esteem predicted a significantly low self-efficacy.

Rapporten tar upp mina reflektioner dels angående projektarbetet både på ett personligt plan samt samarbetet mellan oss två som gjorde projektet. Vad har fungerat och vad har fungerat mindre bra under projekttiden? Från 2D till 3D är en röd tråd genom hela rapporten då vi gått från 2D-referernsbilder i barnboken Gabriel Glömmer till utrenderade 3D-sekvenser. Jag går igenom vad jag gjort och vad andra gjort under projekttiden då vi haft hjälp av lite olika människor. Dessa människor presenteras snabbt, något annat som presenteras är boken och min relation till densamma.

I detta examensprojekt står de allmänna valen till riksdag, landstingoch kommun i centrum, och problematiken med detminskade intresset för dessa.I syfte att öka kännedom och engagemang om valet hos förstagånsväljarna,som är den grupp med lägst valdeltagande i senareval, har målet varit att färdigställa två informativa och underhållandefilmsekvenser.Längderna på filmerna har begränsats till en minut respektivetio?femton sekunder, då det tänkta forumet för filmerna ärtiden som finns mellan programblocken i TV, vanligtvis fylld medreklam eller trailers.Efterforskningar om valet och berörda myndigheters roll ochpolicy, samt analys av formgivning relaterad till, eller liknande mittprojekt har lagt en grund för konceptframtagandet.Den praktiska fasen har bestått av arbete med manus, storyboard,animatic, animation, testvisning, ljudinspelning, och efterproduktion,och resulterat i två filmsekvenser..

This study focuses on work related factors which have an effect on the balance between peoples work and private/social life. Commonly discussed in the daily debate is the so called ?livspusslet?, the time puzzle. The question is: How do you balance the demands from work, family and society? A lot of peoples health and family relations suffers from a stressful situation at work.It?s not hard to figure out that the possible factors which could have an effect on the balance between peoples work and private/social life are many.

Vart står vi och vårat förhållande till trovärdighet i en medial värld i ständig utveckling? Hur är det med det digitala inflytandet i en analog värld? Vad händer med upplevelsen och trovärdigheten i dokumentära filmsammanhang när bilden är animerad?Med hjälp utav två informationsmässigt likvärdiga filmer undersöks hur graden av trovärdighet upplevs i en animerad dokumentär kortfilm, i förhållande till en version med fotografisk bild. Ett antal respondenter får se filmerna och svara på tillhörande frågor i en enkätundersökning vars resultat redovisas och diskuteras i en större analys. Med hjälp av undersökningens resultat avgörs huruvida frågeställningen går att besvara samt vad dess slutsats föreslås ha för betydelse i framtida forskning inom ämnet..

AimsThe aim of this study was to conclude whether women living and staff working in a women´s shelter feel experience a need of physical activity in the shelter and also what thoughts women living and staff working in the shelter have regarding possible access to physical activity. Following questions were adressed: Does women living and staff working in the shelter experience that there is a need of physical activity in the shelter? What does women living, and staff working, in the shelter think about the physical activity conducted in the shelter? Why does the women living in the shelter choose to participate in the physical activity? Are there any connections between symptoms which battered women can suffer from and symptoms which scientific studies say can be reduced by physical activity?MethodsThe study is based on five interviews in order to understand and illustrate how women living in a shelter relate to physical activity. The answers from the interviews has been correlated to scientific results and other literature in the area. Literature studies have also derived background information as well as a deeper knowledge regarding in what way violence against women affect the abused woman.ResultsThe results show a need for physical activity at the women?s shelter where this study was conducted.

Background: In Sweden about 19000 people fall victims of sudden death every year. This covers around 20% of all deaths. Relatives are those who are closest to the patient, regardless of the type of relationship. When a patient suddenly dies this affects the relatives and they can suffer from high risk of complicated grief reactions or crises. Being the nearest professional contact in these situations, the nurse has an important role in supporting and guiding the relatives.Aim: The aim of this literature review was to nominate the relatives' needs of support from the nurse when a loved person suddenly dies.Method: The literature review was based on seven articles with a quality approach.Results:The analysis resulted in four themes; "to be seen and confirmed", "information", "take farewell" and "follow-up ".To be able to give support both mentally and physically, it is important for the nurse to give proper attention to the relatives.

I denna studie undersöks det ifall karaktärer med psykopatiskt beteende uppfattas mindre skrämmande och mer lättsamt i animerad form än i icke-animerad form. En litteraturstudie har genomförts som till stor del fokuserar på psykopater i film och de extrema personligheter och beteende som är frekventa i animerade verk. Två klipp har skapats utifrån två icke-animerade referensklipp innehållandes psykopatiska karaktärer spelade av skådespelare med identisk handling, karaktärsbeteende och miljö fast i animerad form. Dessa animerade klipp utvärderas genom strukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer med en fokusgrupp inriktad på föräldrar med barn som är 7-9 år gamla. Undersökningen visar att de animerade karaktärerna upplevs som mindre skrämmande och mer lättsamma än sina icke-animerade motsvarigheter..

Traditionally risk-based measures have been used to assess animal welfare in legislation and certification schemes. With increased knowledge and research, debate today tends to focus on and advocate the use of animal-based measures. However this is not a panacea for welfare and the most sound conclusion should be that assessment of animal welfare needs both. The aim of this thesis is to identify the points that need to be taken into consideration to find the optimal balance in the use of input and outcome measures according to the aim of the assessment and how these should be applied when designing a certification scheme? To answer this, a comparison of the use of resource-based, management-based and animal-based measures in two certification schemes for dairy cow welfare, Freedom Food (UK) and Svenskt Sigill (SWE), was made.

I have for my one year master's thesis worked on arranging and cataloging the archives from the missions stations of Musana, Congo-Brazzaville and Sundi-Lutete, Congo-Kinshasa, belonging to the Swedish Missions Church (Svenska Missionskyrkan). The archives contained records written in Swedish, French and Kikongo, from primarily the years 1910 until 1961. Records have though been found that adhere from both prior to and after these years. These archives are deposited at the Swedish National Archive and it was therefore important to take the opinions and regulations of both parties into consideration, as well as relying onto archival theory.The archives were initially scattered and had in some parts been organized by an archivist without formal schooling. The major difficulties in this work has therefore been to establish the provenance ? to which creator the documents belonged to, and also to decide to which degree the principle of the original order should play a part.

3D-modellerad grafik har blivit ett viktigt verktyg för att visualisera projekt inom arkitektur, för att skapa fotorealistiska visualiseringar är åtgången av en dators processorkraft stor där beräkningen av dessa 3D-modeller till färdig bild eller animation blir en flaskhals för arkitektföretagets visualiseringsavdelning. Stora animationsföretag har länge använt sig av datorkluster för att kunna hantera processorbehovet hos programvara för grafisk formgivning och detta är en lösning som i mindre skala även passar sig för 3D-grafiker arbetandes inom arkitektur. Mitt examensarbete har varit införandet av ett sådant datorkluster på arkitektfirman White Arkitekters huvudkontor i Göteborg. Lösningen har till stor del eliminerat den flaskhals som tidigare existerade och har gett 3D-grafikerna möjligheten att göra mer avancerade projekt samt att kräva bättre bildkvalité av de olika programvaror som används..

The purpose of this thesis has been about processing an already existing folder for a tax funded organization which is also the employer for this mission ? Expectrum. The reason is that both Expectrum themselves and the recievers of the folder are unhappy with the existing material. The critic that has been directed to Expectrum is that the recievers have trouble understanding what Expectrum is and what they do. Based on qualitative methods such as interviews and text analysis I?ve been able to answer my questions for this thesis.
