Matbudgetapplikation

Flera nya tjänster som Mina utgifter och Smartbudget vittnar om ett tilltagande intresse bland konsumenter att planera sin ekonomi. Matvaror utgör en stor del av det genomsnittliga hushållets budget och är därmed en kostnadspost som kan göra stor skillnad i hushållets ekonomi.Detta examensarbete ska undersöka möjligheten att jämföra matvarors pris på olika affärer med hjälp av en Android-applikation och genom att fotografera texten på kvitton. Texten kommer sen processas och sorteras för att få ut nödvändig data som sen kan sparas undan i en databas. Färdiga Algoritmer och OCR-motorer har utvärderats och implementerats i applikationen direkt genom så kallade C-Bibliotek. Dessa gör det möjligt att utan större problem vidareutveckla applikationen för iOS eller Windows Phone.Projektet och Android-applikationen visar på möjligheterna att använda färdiga C-bibliotek samt telefoners kamera för att enkelt sålla ut och spara undan den informationen som är relevant för konsumentens del..

Vidareutveckling av AppCMS

I denna uppsats kommer vi dokumentera vidareutvecklingen av Softwerk AB?s Content Management System kallat AppCMS. I dagsläget innefattar AppCMS plattformarna iOS, Android och Windows Phone. Kunderna till Softwerk AB har dock uttryckt ett behov av att även kunna nå ut till sina användare med en webbaserad samt en utskrivningsbar lösning. AppCMS?s exportformat har därför analyserats för att undersöka möjligheten till att återanvända det existerande exportformatet från AppCMS  även för dessa plattformarna.

Overall aim of this master?s thesis is to describe and identify perceived barriers in Swedish businesses within solar energy field and analyze, based on four theoretical viewpoints, how these barriers can be handled. In other words how can the barriers be overcome or eliminated to better succeed in the commercialization process? The method applied is qualitative in which data has been collected through Phone interviews originated from seven Cleantech businesses which operate within solar energy. Furthermore this thesis has a descriptive- and an explorative purpose.

Säker integration av mobila enheter i SharePoint-miljö

Med anledning av den snabbt växande populariteten för mobila enheter såsom iPad/iPhone, Android och Windows Phone 7 öppnas nya möjligheter för affärsverksamheten. Ett exempel är mobil åtkomst till Microsoft SharePoint, en webbplattform som erbjuder en bred uppsättning verktyg för bland annat dokumenthantering och projektsamarbete. Den här studien har utvärderat ett antal lösningar för att tillgängliggöra SharePoint på mobila enheter. Utvärderingen har fokuserat på de två huvudaspekterna användarvänlighet och säkerhet, eftersom studien utfördes på ett företag med omfattande hantering av sekretessbelagda filer. Lösningarna i studien har delvis testats via mobila enheter och delvis endast undersökts genom dokumentation på grund av brist på möjlighet till driftsättning av de mer avancerade lösningarna.

This Masters thesis work describes a comparison between two different methods for estimation of the down channel (base station to mobile subscriber) in Wide-band Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA). The first estimation method, Optimal Feed-forward Channel Estimation (OFCE), is a conventional method that bases the estimates on data that is known to both sender and receiver, so called pilots. The second method, Decision Directed Channel Estimation (DDCE), is an elaboration of OFCE. It also uses user data for estimation. Simulations show that DDCE, in comparison to OFCE, does not attain an improvement in signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) for high bit error rates (BER).

This essay elucidates upper secondary students? literacy practices, (literacy events, literacy competencies and literacy culture) during a typical day, with focus on the daily literacy practices. A literacy ethnographic study conducted in the environment which participants naturally are, at home, at school and in leisure. The study is inspired of a project, Skriftbruk i arbetslivet, ´Literacy Practices in Working Life´, that conducted by Anna-Malin Karlsson, Per Ledin and Olle Josephson, in collaboration with Vetenskapsrådet ´Science Council´(2002-2004).The result of this study shows that students from professional preparing programs not use such literacy competencies that been tested in traditionally reading comprehension test, particularly much. However, do they read a lot during the literacy practices day by television, computer and mobile Phone.

Inomhuspositioneringssystem : Personlig navigation inomhus via mobiltelefon

GPS används idag för personlig navigering men dessvärre är GPS beroende av fri sikt och presterar sämre i en inomhusmiljö. Ett IPS, inomhuspositioneringssystem, skulle komplet-tera GPS:ens funktion samt öppna dörrar för nya användningsområden inom positionering. I detta examensarbete studerades metoder och tekniker för att möjliggöra ett IPS för en mo-bil enhet. Där teknikerna och metoderna verifieras för att kunna implementeras i en mobil-telefon.En prototyp för ett IPS framställdes för att utreda möjligheterna att navigera i en inomhus-miljö. En radiofingeravtrycksmetod baserat på RSSI-mätningar från Bluetooth-enheter im-plementerades och integrerades med en dödräkningsmetod som använder en IMU för att positionera användaren.

A co-operation is established when a group of people, sharing the same preferences and values, come together in order to satisfy a common need. The co-operative association should be democratic, governed and supervised by its members and open to everyone. The purpose of this article is to, from our ideal type, study similarities and differences regarding the corporate governance of the consumers? and the producers? co-operative movement. The motive behind our choice of alignment is that the mechanisms of corporate governance often are described from the perspective of the joint-stock company, making it valuable and interesting to study these mechanisms from the co-operative point of view.

Kommunikation mellan en reklambyrå och dess kunder

The purpose of this thesis is to find out how clients at Effect Reklambyrå (an advertising agency) view the communication and relationship with Effect. Conclusions are then drawn based on what the clients say. The conclusions show how Effect can improve in these areas.The study uses a qualitative research method since the phenomenon studied is complex and requires deep understanding. A total of 16 interviews took place. Seven clients were interviewed by Phone and nine clients participated in a personal interview face-to-face.

Kvantitativ studie om knappsatsdesign och knappstorlekars påverkan på träffsäkerhet

A mobile testing application using Unity was developed to analyse what impact button sizes and button layouts has on the accuracy of touch as well as the time to finish a labyrinth. This was tested on a Nexus 4 Phone. 28 users navigated a small object through a labyrinth in which they collect keys to open the door to the exit. Each participant did the test 6 times with different combinations of button size and button layout each time, done in a random order. Hits, misses, completion time, order of button size and order of button layout was collected and then visualized using R.

True Passion : En studie om varumärket Kosta Bodas profil och image

The purpose of this essay is to increase the understanding of how the management´s core values reflect the brand´s profile and image. To be able to fulfill that purpose, we used three problem statements that questioned how consumers, retailers and the employees of the company Kosta Boda perceived the brand. To accomplish this, we used a qualitative method. We started collecting theories about the topics: brand, image and profile that gave us a good foundation to build our qualitative interviews on and to increase the understanding for the topics. To collect imperical data, we interviewed consumers, retailers and employees at Kosta Boda both by email, Phone and face-to-face interviews.

Reklam i din bästa vän? : en jämförelse av uppfattningar av reklam genom E-mail respektive SMS

The work with this paper began with a belief that the permission aspect plays acrucial part when it comes to consumers perceptions of marketing through E-mailand SMS - especially when it comes to advertising that is received through a devicethat the consumer has a strong personal relationship with. The questions to beinvestigated was: "How do users of computers and mobile Phones feel aboutadvertisement received through E-mail and SMS?" and "In what way does the usersrelationship to the computer or mobile Phone affect how they feel about theadvertisement?". The study was based on a questionnaire as well as an analysis of theresponses in combination with previous research on the subject.The results showed that the majority of the respondents from this papers surveywere found to have a negative attitude toward advertisement through both E-mail andSMS. However, the respondents turned out to have a slightly higher tolerance foradvertisement through E-mail than towards advertisement through SMS.
