The aim of this study has been to investigate the views concerning the sharing of music files over the Internet as expressed by some of the parties engaged in the current debate in Sweden concerning these issues. The purpose of this study has also been to scrutinize the views about music filesharing as expressed by the parties in question, as well as the conclusions possible to extrapolate from these opinions. The method used to gather information from the parties subjected to this study has been by conducting and recording interviews with representatives from the organizations and companies entities in question. Those entities are: the Record Company Sony/BMG, The Swedish branch of the organization IFPI International Federation of the Phonographic Industry and the Swedish organization the Pirate Bureau. The method used to analyze the empirically gathered material has been inspired by a method common in the discipline of philosophy of education known as Phenomenography.

Resource-based learning or problem-oriented learning are teaching methods that are becoming more and more common in schools today. In order to make these teaching methods work there is a demand to make students information literate. The aim of this thesis is to find out how six teachers at six senior high schools apprehend their professional role of seeking, preparing and developing the course in history of literature. I have used Phenomenography which is both a set of theoretical assumptions and a methodology. This means that by doing a limited number of qualitative interviews one is able to describe the variations of the conceptions that have emerged.

Den här studien utforskar genom fenomenografins arbetssätt, vad det innebär för rektorer att undervisningen vilar på vetenskaplig grund och beprövad erfarenhet samt hur rektorerna arbetar för detta på sin skola. Skollagen från 2010 har i första paragrafen inskrivet att utbildningen ska vila på vetenskaplig grund och beprövad erfarenhet.  Genom intervjuer har rektorer i gymnasieskolan svarat på vad skollagens nya skrivning innebär för dem. Rektorerna har svarat på vad det innebär för dem att undervisningen på deras skola ska vila på vetenskaplig grund och beprövad erfarenhet och hur de arbetar för att detta ska komma till stånd. En differentierad bild ges av gymnasieskolornas olika förutsättningar att anta denna utmaning. Rektorerna visar på svårigheter med att ge alla elever samma förutsättningar, då bland annat ämne och programtillhörighet ger olika möjligheter.

The aim of this master thesis is to study how teachers in adult education view the phenomenon of information seeking in education. We have interviewed adult education teachers, and the method used when working with the data was Phenomenography. We found three categories in our material: 1. Information seeking is the student?s responsibility; 2.

The aim of this study is to describe what teachers and principals experience in schools regarding threats, violence and harassment towards teachers. A phenomenographical inspired approach has been used to describe and analyse the conceptions of five teachers and five principals. The findings of the study indicate that there is no impending risk for teachers to suffer from violence, threats or harassment. However, it does occasionally happen, and the findings of the study indicate that there are some factors that increase the risk. The major three factors are: fear, personality and inexperience.

Denna studies syfte är att få ökad förståelse och kunskap om elevers varierade uppfattningar av fenomenet kränkning i skolan. Studien är kvalitativ, vi vill veta hur elever utifrån sina erfarenheter uppfattar fenomenet kränkning och lyfta fram variationer i uppfattningarna. Studien bygger på semi-strukturerade intervjuer med elever i år sju, åtta och nio. Vi har gjort en fenomenografisk analys av intervjumaterialet, vilket har resulterat i beskrivningskategorier. Vi har funnit tre kategorier i elevers uppfattningar av kränkning, dessa är kränkning som intrång, kränkning som nedvärdering och kränkning som uteslutning.

This thesis examines how library employees experience the library as a meeting place. Our questions are: What effect has the concept of a "library as a meeting-place" for library staff?How do they see the library as a meeting place? How do they see their workplace as a venue for meetings? The respondents interviewed work in public libraries. We were inspired by a cultural geographic theory that we re-designed. The following divisions were made in order to give the work a definitive structure:The "mental space"The library as a meeting place on a global and universal level;The "conceived space"Librarians and planners' thinking on the specific library as a meeting place;The "living space"How library staff perceive that the library is used as a meeting place in reality.In our analysis, we use a phenomenographic qualitative interpretive methodology.

The aim of this study has been to investigate students? understanding of fractions when they occur in the practical subject home economics. In order to investigate this, the learning study method was used. Learning study can be understood as a method to gain deeper understanding of what is learnt by students during a lesson to increase learning outcome.The variation theory framework has been utilized to analyze the results of this study. The object of learning was chosen to be addition of fractions bigger than one half when they appear in home economics.

Studiens övergripande syfte är att generera insikt i förskollärares uppfattningar av omsorgens roll i det dagliga arbetet med de yngsta barnen i förskolan.Utifrån en fenomenografisk metodansats har sju semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts med förskollärare verksamma på en småbarnsavdelning.I studien beskrivs tidigare forskning kring fenomenet omsorg och dess roll i förskolan och olika forskares uppfattningar av dess betydelse för de yngsta barnen.Informanternas utsagor är sammanställda utifrån en fenomenografisk analysmetod där sex beskrivningskategorier utkristalliserats, i kategorierna inryms en bred variation av uppfattningar av omsorgens betydelse. Dessa sex beskrivningskategorier leder fram till studien utfallsrum, dvs. studiens resultat. I resultatet framträder förskollärarnas uppfattningar av omsorgen som både en viktig faktor för de yngsta barnens välbefinnande, men även som en grund för deras lärande inom förskolekontexten..

The aim of this study is to examine the perception of work of young men and women. A central problem that the study focus on is how young men and women value work, what do they expect to get out of work, and what are their experiences of work. The study also examines what work value and work mean for them. Eight young men and women between the ages of 22-25, currently working in different field, were interviewed. The individuals interviewed had different educational backgrounds.

The purpose of this Master thesis is to examine how college library managers perceive shelves of book reservation system in an integrity perspective. Privacy is an important part of everyday life in the society of today and according to some people, for example a former library lawyer in the Swedish Royal Library, these shelves conflicts with the Swedish law of Secrecy (Sekretesslagen 9 kap. 22 §). I am therefore interested in how they perceive this system: what weaknesses and strengths it has, why they implemented it, how they have interpreted this law. To answer this I have used a qualitative method called Phenomenography and done interviews with five college library managers.

The proportion of elderly people in Sweden is increasing. Many of these live at home and as their age increases so does the likelihood of health problems and the need for support, medical attention and care. Personnel working with home help provide a large part of this care, including areas of home-based care that are the responsibility of the district nurse. The purpose of this paper is to describe how home-help personnel perceive their work in the area of home-based care, as their views are an important factor in the ability to provide a care system that funktions successfully. The method employed here is phenomenografic and nine subjects from a home-help group have been interviewed.

This study started with my interest in drama pedagogy practices. The aim is to investigate the teacher's conceptions of children's play and learning activities in drama pedagogy practices. Basically drama pedagogy means children and teachers creating play worlds together, usually based on various literary works, where they portray and play. Previous research shows that drama pedagogy as a method can enrich and develop children's play. Also, drama can be important for children's linguistic, social and aesthetic development.In this study, overall three interviews and two observations at different occasions was carried out.

Bakgrund: Inom hälso- och sjukvården kan personal råka ut för olika arbetsrelaterade besvär. Sjuksköterskan kommer i kontakt med många olika typer av läkemedel. Alla läkemedel är inte harmlösa för dem som iordningställer och administrerar dem. Då företagssköterskan ska arbeta hälsofrämjande och preventivt är det intressant att belysa sjuksköterskors arbete med intravenös antibiotika. KASAM kan vara till hjälp, på en arbetsplats, för att ta reda på vad som krävs för att kunna bevara men också förbättra hälsan hos medarbetarna. Syfte: Att beskriva sjuksköterskors uppfattningar om risker vid arbete med intravenös antibiotika.

In the library community there is a continuous discussion about enhancing user interactivity on library websites, according to the principles of Web 2.0, called Library 2.0. The purpose of this thesis is to study how librarians conceive Library 2.0. The focus is on the study of the librarians? conceptions of user interactivity on the website, and if the librarians conceive that their professional role is affected by Library 2.0. The study is implemented methodologically by interviewing six librarians and using Phenomenography as an approach.
