AimThe aim of this study has been survey the possibilities for short-term stays in the Stockholm Archipelago for people without their own means of transport, own equipment and/or experience of outdoor life.To fulfil this aim, the following questions were formulated:? What communications are available to chalet parks in the Stockholm Archipelago?? What overnight accommodation is available in the chalet parks in the Stockholm Archipelago?? What activities can be pursued in the Stockholm Archipelago?? What is the financial cost of travelling to and staying in the Stockholm Archipelago for a week?MethodWe chose to use six interviews and three observations in order to gain as much insight as possible. Interviews were conducted with Claes Petterson at Waxholmsbolaget, a company that provides transport services in the Archipelago, and with managers for five chalet parks: Rolf Andersson for Finnhamn, Per Englund for Grinda, Arne Johansson for Rånö, Pär Hjärtström and Peter Hösöyen for Gålö and Anders Bedinger for Gålö and Nåttarö. The interviews were recorded in writing and on tape. Observations were carried out at three chalet parks, i.e.

Svaret som uppsatsen kommer fram till är att det visserligen har gått framåt i utvecklingen att se kvinnor och män som jämställda men att det ännu inte är helt jämställt i de amerikanska hollywoodfilmerna..

Många individer är inte accepterade i samhället på grund av att de avviker. Detta är ett stort problem då de riskerar utanförskap och sämre livskvalitet. Vad jag därmed kommer att studera i denna uppsats är hur avvikande individer bemöts i samhället och hur de svarar på detta bemötande. De filmer som jag kommer att utgå ifrån i analysen är The Elephant Man (1980) av David Lynch och Mask (1985) av Peter Bogdanovich. Jag kommer sedan att använda mig av socialpsykologin som teori för att kunna analysera hur och varför detta sker.

The purpose of this thesis was to trace and discuss tendencies in the debate of the computerization of the libraries, in Swedish library press during the period of 1970-1999. The set-out was the issue of how the library journals, as representatives and mouthpieces of a by tradition humanistic profession, coped with a revolutionary innovation related to a field (data technology) which they hadn't any knowledge or even interest in. The examination included three Swedish library journals: Biblioteksbladet with connection to Sweden?s most established library organization (SAB); Bis which is founded upon a socialistic base and; DIK-forum rooted in the union. The analysis of the debate was partly based on three different sets of values related to data and systems development.

This master thesis summarizes contemporary theories on secularization processes in the Western world, and compares these with the example of Sweden, which by many scholars is considered to be the most secularized country in the Western world.I do this by dividing the most influential theorists in five different groups. In each group I explain how the theorists formulate and motivate their positions. These groups are:1) The secularization paradigm, where secularization always accompanies modernization. (Therorists: Steve Bruce and Peter Berger (in the 1960s)2) The paradigm basically accepted, but revised to depend on existential security, rather than modernisation as such. (Pippa Norris and Ronald Inglehart)3) Religion returned in the public sphere.

?Mechanical debridment ? A studie in irrigation optimization? is a final thesis which was executed by Fredrick Ekman, in close collaboration with the other group member Mikael Johansson, during the spring 2012. The thesis was carried out through Karlstad University Faculty of Technology and Science in the study program of Innovation and Design Engineering (180 ECTS credits). The client of the project was Medilink AB located in Lindesberg, and the contact person was Nils-Erik Söderström, Chief Executive Officer. The project was supervised by lecturer, Lennart Wihk, and examined by lecturer and professor Fredrik Thuvander at Karlstad University.

The purpose is to analyse and compare the conclusions and distinguish the main arguments that led to those conclusions and decipher similarities and differences through the lens of Tom Christensen?s instrumental perspective as well as Peter May?s social policy learning theory.

Gothenburg Culturefestival has a large number of visitors and since last year they have noticed that there are not as many visitors from some multicultual areas in Gothenburg. This makes it interesting to see what kind of problems that exists in the current communication. Problem statement: What noise is there in communicating to a multicultural target group and how does they affect the goals and the result with the communication?Purpose: The purpose of this paper is based on the communicationmodel and from there describe the communication between companies and multicultural areas, and from this identify problems with such communication.Method: 118 respondents were selected through a convenience sample and then  asked questions through structured interviews based on a questionnaire.

Jag vill genom denna uppsats ta reda på vilka likheter och olikheter som finns mellan Lars Levi Læstadius och Peter Wieselgren. Dessa två präster levde på 1800-talet, de var oerhört hängivna av att vilja bekämpa brännvinet som förstörde och skapade ett sånt elände för människorna.Både Læstadius och Wieselgren ansåg att alkoholmissbruket måste angripas från roten för det var den som framförallt orsakade allt lidande hos människorna.Læstadius ansåg att det moraliska fördärvet var orsaken till alla laster och för att komma åt det hela, så måste det lyftas upp på en högre front nämligen den kristna tron som ger människan större livskvalitet.Wieselgren ansåg att spritmissbruket och okunnigheten hos människorna var orsaken till allt lidande, och att ett moralisk socialt saneringsarbete behövdes, för att komma åt det onda. Han tog kyrkorådet till hjälp och det infördes bland annat sträng kyrkotukt. Hjälpte inte förmaningarna, så blev den försumlige inkallad till kyrkorådet.Læstadius och Wieselgrens livsuppgift blev att föra en kamp mot detta missbruk. De blev båda hatade, mordhotade och det väcktes åtal mot dem, men de lät sig inte skrämmas till tystnad, vare sig av överhet eller andra.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att belysa Majgull Axelssons roman ?Slumpvandring? från olika håll för att komma fram till ett förslag till en tolkning av romanen och dess budskap. Uppsatsens resonemang kring romanen är begränsat till tre huvudområden, samt koncentreras kring de tre karaktärer som uppsatsförfattaren uppfattar som huvudkaraktärer; Augusta, Alice och Angelica.Först diskuteras romanens mest betydelsefulla miljö, huset som kallas Augustas hus, utifrån huset som symbol och vad det representerar. Huset är enligt traditionen ofta en symbol för den mänskliga kroppen och framförallt kvinnokroppen och moderskroppen, och denna symbolik diskuteras i förhållande till romanens skildring av Augustas hus samt skildringen av havandeskap, barnafödande och relationer mellan barn och förälder i romanen. I detta avsnitt diskuteras också minnet och det förflutna och vilken roll dessa spelar i romanen.Vidare diskuteras romanens primära intertext, ?Geniet? av Ivar Lo-Johansson, och vilken roll denna intertext spelar i Axelssons roman.

Course: Bachelor thesis in Business Administration, 10 credits Purpose: Our purpose with the bachelor thesis was to investigate if there is a connection between communication of and around internal performance reports and profitability in companies. Method: Our investigation has been made at seven companies in the county of Blekinge by making personal interviews with people in both production and business departments at each of the companies.
