Hotet från de kriminella MC-gängen - en normativ studie av värdekonflikten mellan den personliga integriteten och statens säkerhet

The aim of this essay is to illustrate a fundamental question; what is a democracy allowed to do to protect itself from enemies? I´ve chosen to analyze the conflict between the two values; individual integrity and state´s security. The individual integrity refers to every person's right to have a protected sphere, and the stat´s security refers to its right to protect itself, and these two positions are often time incompatible. This conflict of value is shown in a normative analysis, where depending on which perspective or normative logic is seen as primate, it gives different conclusions to what a democracy should do to defend itself.To demonstrate how severe the threats are against the society, I choose to examine a specific part of the organized crime, the outlaw motorcycle gangs. They have a special position in affecting the legal system because they have an explicit aim to influence the judicial system with scaremongering and threats.

Vinkunskap i matsalen ? nödvändighet eller "nörderi?? : Svenska restauratörers syn på utbildning och sommelierens roll som kunskapskälla

Inledning: Allt fler utbildar sig inom restaurangbranschen samtidigt som branschen präglas av dålig lönsamhet. Flera tidigare studier visar dock att utbildad personal kan leda till ökad lönsamhet. Genom att anställa en utbildad sommelier och genom att utbilda personalen i matsalen i produktkunskap, serveringsteknik och försäljningsteknik bör vinförsäljningen öka på restaurangen.Syfte: Att kartlägga svenska restaurangers användande av sommelierer och utbildning av matsalspersonalen. Studien syftar också till att identifiera restauratörers attityd mot utbildning samt presentera praktiska riktlinjer för utbildning av personal.Metod: Strukturerade telefonintervjuer genomfördes med restauratörer som tilldelats God klass i White Guide. Trettiotvå restauranger valdes utifrån ett stratifierat slumpmässigt urval.Resultat: Svenska restauranger har i genomsnitt 50 procent utbildad personal i matsalen.

Problem: The great interest towards the company?s values has contributed to it becoming more common for individuals to seek out organizations that have a strong corporate culture. Where you work and whom you work for has thus become the dominant factors instead of what you are working with.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how the corporate culture, the rational and emotional benefits are experienced by the employees of the company. The aim is also to examine whether the corporate culture can become a management control measure by good communication between employees within the organization.Methodology: The essay is based on a qualitative research method and empirical data were collected through interviews from the company MTR Stockholm.Theoretical Frame of reference, Edgar Schein, Three Levels of Culture, Seven dimensions.Results: The study has shown that there are different cultures within the company. But also that there is a strong corporate culture within the business, the respondents feel an affinity with working within the underground rather than working for the company MTR Stockholm..

Aim Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire 2007 (DCDQ'07) is an international survey tool based on parents' estimation of their child's motor coordination skills. The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity of a Swedish version of DCDQ'07 by finding out how the classification of Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) via DCDQ'07 is consistent with the classification of DCD via the motor impairment test, Movement ABC.MethodIn the context of a larger study, a Swedish translated version of the parent survey DCDQ'07 were sent to 4000 randomly selected families with children aged 8 - 10 years in Stockholm County. The classifications "DCD" or "NOT DCD" with cut-off values ??of 56 (9 years) and 57 (10 years) were applied. Forty families were selected from 410 registered responses.

The purpose of this study is to illustrate if structural factors to welfare indicators and the internal organisation of handle social assistance in combination with dominating ways of living with their values and norms can be used to explain why the costs of social assistance are low in Säffle township. The character of this study is exploratory, though important aspects in this case was unknown. The empiricism come from descriptive secondary statistics and from qualitative interwievs with three inhabitants in Säffle, whom are experts which means they know the township of Säffle and it´s inhabitants well. Säffle has been studied from four perspectives, of which the first two have a top- or macroperspective. In the study appears two divergent pictures.

The purpose of our study is to examine whether social welfare secretaries experience obstacles in work to do their tasks in a way that they, from their own values, thinks is right. And if so, what are the reactions and what strategies do they use to manage this. The study is based on a qualitative method. The data consist of interviews, with five social welfare secretaries, which all work in southern Sweden. The social welfare secretaries both work at a children- and youth department and at a social allowance department.

Comparison of stable environment in prior approved and non-prior approved horse stables

To establish good horse welfare there are several factors that need to be considered. One important factor is the environment in which the horses are kept. In Sweden horses are stabled during long periods of time in the cold season and consequently the stable environment is even more important. The most essential environmental factors in a horse stable are ambient temperature, relative humidity (RH) and concentrations of contaminants in the stable air. The air in a horse stable contains dust, noxious gases, moulds and microorganisms which all can contribute to developing respiratory diseases in horses.

Miljökompensation vid exploatering av Natura 2000 : en jämförande studie av Sverige, Tyskland och Nederländerna

The purpose of the thesis is to describe how environmental compensation is carried through when it comes to exploitation of Natura 2000. The thesis also relates to the three theories of planning synoptic, advocacy and transactive. Three cases of environmental compensation have been studied from three different countries where an exploitation of the Natura 2000 is done. Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands have all been working with environmental impact assessments as a demand to be able to carry through their projects. The projects concern the development of a railway track, an industry and a port which all have been approved by the EU-commission to carry on because of socioeconomic reasons.

Studiens syfte är att studera ett bemanningsföretag med fokus på ledarskap, tillhörighet och ansvarsfrågor utifrån bemanningsföretagets, kundföretagets samt de uthyrdas perspektiv. De tre frågeställningarna var vilka uppfattningar finns kring ledarskap och vem ses som ledare för uthyrd personal, vilket företag känner de uthyrda tillhörighet till och vilka de ser som sina arbetskamrater; hur ser ansvarsfördelningen ut när det gäller arbetsledning, feedback, kompetensutveckling samt arbetsmiljö?Studien genomfördes på ett bemanningsföretag med verksamhet i bland annat Linköping. Åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes.Vid resultatanalysen framkom att det är bemanningsföretaget som till största delen står för de relationsinriktade värdena. Det var personer där som gav feedback och kunde ses som mentorer.

Inflytande och delaktighet i förskolan : Föräldrars medvetenhet om förskolans pedagogiska arbete

Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på hur medvetna föräldrar på sju förskolor är om det pedagogiska arbetet i förskolan. Vi vill också ta reda på hur deras möjlighet till inflytande och delaktighet ser ut.Våra frågeställningar är:? Känner föräldrarna till att det finns en läroplan för förskolan?? Synliggör personalen det pedagogiska arbetet för föräldrarna?? Är föräldrarna nöjda med det pedagogiska arbetet i förskolan?? Känner föräldrarna till vilka möjligheter de har att vara med och påverka förskolans pedagogiska arbete?Vi har använt oss av enkäter riktade till föräldrar och personal för att få svar på våra frågeställningar. I undersökningen deltog 73 föräldrar och 35 personal. Resultaten visar att majoriteten av föräldrarna är medvetna om förskolans läroplan men att de inte är särskilt delaktiga när det kommer till att påverka det pedagogiska arbetet.

Arbetstillfredsställelse hos personal inom tvångsvård, LVM

Hög arbetstillfredsställelse är viktigt för alla anställda, men förutsättningarna för detta varierar beroende på olika faktorer. Personal inom tvångsvård, LVM arbetar nära klienterna, vilket kan påverka personalens upplevda arbetstillfredsställelse. Undersökningens syfte var att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar arbetstillfredsställelse hos personal inom tvångsvård. En enkätstudie gjordes med frågeformuläret QPSNordic med 81 deltagare (40 män, 41 kvinnor) samt en intervjustudie med 8 personer (2 män, 6 kvinnor). Resultatet visade att personalen på den öppna avdelningen hade en signifikant högre generell arbetstillfredsställelse än personalen på de låsta avdelningarna, vilket antagligen beror på skillnader i rollförväntningar, men kanske även större personligt utrymme på den öppna avdelningen.
