Times do change and today the situation is the other way around - most of us live within city boundaries and only few work with farming and related agricultural businesses. One thing that has not changed though, is the need of supplies from Swedish agriculture.What do we think of those products? Are we even aware of the connection between us and agriculture? The Federation of Swedish Farmers, LRF (Lantbrukarnas riksförbund), started their project to strengthen the link between consumers and producers in 2008.This paper is part of the project and its aim is to investigate consumers' views and values upon the effects and products from Swedish agriculture.Opinions and values have been studied through interviews influenced by phenomenology. The results show that the informants in general had a positive approach and thinking concerning the products and effects from Swedish agriculture.

Guarantee of quality in the shape of self-checking activities is an important tool to guarantee a well managed forestry operation. To meet the forest owners? demands on guarantee of quality and the entrepreneurs wish of an easy method for self-checking, the forest owners association, Södra skogsägarna, has developed a new method for thinning inventory. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the method that is used for self-checking and to find ways to develop and improve of the method. The data has been collected by inventory in a number of stands with circle-area survey and with strip survey, which is method that is used for self-checking. The results show that the strip survey does not diverge more than ±10 % in measuring values of basal area, number of stems, roads share, thinning quotient, outtake of basal area and total volume compared to circle-area survey.

This study aims to analyze four gymnasium teachers? opinion on the values within the Swedish school system today, as well as the presence of conflicting values and goals in their role as a street level bureaucrat. A comparative aspect concerning private and state regulated schools was implemented into the study in order to compare one school system to the other. This was achieved by using semi-structured interviews with the aim to register the teachers? opinions on these matters.The study showed that the teachers perceive a high amount of discretion within their role as a street level bureaucrat concerning the educational aspect of their work.

Det finns väldigt lite skrivet om kunskapsspridning via inhyrd personal och därför är det intressant att bidra med ny kunskap på området.Syfte Huvudsyftet med studien är att beskriva hur bemanningsföretag och deras kunder ser på kunskapsspridning mellan företag via inhyrd personal. Studiens delsyfte är att beskriva de eventuella åtgärder som kundföretag vidtar för att hindra att kunskap sprids vidare till andra kundföretag.Metod I denna studie har en kvalitativ forskningsansats använts och data har samlats in genom kvalitativa intervjuer. En narrativ analysmetod med inspiration från Burkes pentad har används för att analysera det insamlade materialet.Slutsats Bemanningsföretagen och deras kunder är medvetna om att kunskapsspridning existerar men de ser det inte som ett problem.
