De stora och etablerade gymkedjorna verkar på en marknad som kännetecknas av att vara mogen och som under de senaste åren blivit utsatt för en ökad konkurrens. Den ökade konkurrensen utgörs utav de nyetablerade lågpriskedjorna. Strukturer med höga omkostnader gör de etablerande svårföränderliga till en sänkning av pris till samma nivå som de nyetablerade. De måste därmed skapa mervärde exempelvis genom personal och service i form utav intern marknadsföring. Studiens syfte är att analysera och undersöka intern marknadsföring mellan ledning och personal och dess påverkan på kundlojalitet och långsiktig överlevnad för ett stort, etablerat träningsföretag.

Forskningen har i decennier ifrågasatt anställningsintervjuns validitet och reliabilitet. Trots detta så är intervjun ett av de vanligast förkommande urvalsinstrumenten vid rekrytering av personal. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur rekryteraren tillämpar intervjun som urvals¬instrument vid rekrytering av personal och att få vetskap om hur rekryteraren förbereder och genomför intervjun samt efterarbetet med att bedöma kandidaten. De åtta deltagarna i studien valdes utifrån bekvämlighet och informativitet. Data samlades in med hjälp av halvstrukturerade intervjuer och analyserades med induktiv tematisk analys.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the unaccompanied children's experiences of the support offered at group homes intended for this group. The purpose is also to find out if they feel like the stay at the group home has prepared them for an independent life. The study has a qualitative approach and results collection occurred through semi-structured interviews. Seven young men aged 18-20 years were interviewed, all of them have lived for at least one year in a group home and are now living in their own apartment. The results have shown that the adolescents had both positive and negative experiences from their stay at the group home and that they have different views about whether they have received the support they need to cope independently.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att beskriva ett företags belöningssystem och vilka målsättningar ledningen har med belöningssystemet. Vidare ville vi beskriva hur företagets ledning och personal upplevde utfallet av belöningssystemet, samt förklara eventuella skillnader mellan målsättningar och utfall. Uppsatsens referensram behandlar teorier om belöningar, styrning och motivation. Vår fallstudie av valutaväxlingsföretaget FOREX genomfördes med hjälp av en telefonintervju med företagsledningen samt telefonintervjuer med hjälp av ett standardiserat frågeformulär med personal från 15 av FOREX butiker. Resultaten i vår undersökning visar att ett bra utformat belöningssystem kan motivera personalen att prestera bättre, men det är svårt att utforma ett belöningssystem som all personal inom företaget uppskattar eftersom alla individer har olika preferenser, behov och mål.

The aim of this thesis is to describe how service companies through adjustment of the customer?s zone of tolerance can influence customer?s perception of the service during the processes of service delivery and create customer satisfaction. The method used was case study approach utilizing personal interviews, which were conducted at two service companies. The study showed that the aspects of the service that have greatest importance for the customer?s assessment of the service and customer satisfaction among others are personal treatment and that personel behave in the way that makes the customer feel itself taken good care of and unique.

Studiens intresseområde var IT-support och supportsituationer mellan företag och fastighetsmäklare. Fastighetsmäklare i Sverige är en yrkesgrupp som använder sig utav teknik i sitt arbete, t.ex. bärbara datorer och digitala kameror. Införandet av IT (Informationsteknologi) i arbetslivet har förändrat yrkesgruppens arbetssätt och påverkat denna yrkesgrupp markant. Det här gör att fastighetsmäklaren är beroende av att tekniken fungerar och har behov av välfungerande support vid uppkomna problem.

Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate how context-specific and generic scaffolding affect upper secondary school students' conversations during laboratory work in chemistry and find out if meaningful exploratory conversations taking place that increase the students' understanding. Theory: Previous studies show that there are difficulties for students to both handle practical material in laboratory work and create meaningful conceptual understanding. It needs to be more minds on than hands on. This study has a socio-cultural basis where language is an important basis for thinking. Previous studies show that the exploratory conversation is important for creating understanding.

The purpose of this Bachelor Thesis is to examine what happens when the solitary reading experience becomes a social activity. The study is based on semi-structured interviews with three women belonging to the same reading group. I have used Sten Furhammar?s reading dimensions and categories to explain their reading experience, and Jenny Hartley, Elizabeth Long and Immi Lundin to explain the function that the reading group has for them, and the relationship between reading experiences in a book-discussion.My result shows that they started the reading group because they lacked an opportunity to discuss their readings with people that had the same interest in books. They do all have different ways to read, which is displayed by Furhammar?s categories personal and impersonal reading for experience.

The purpose of the essay was to examine the role of the professional communicator in the Swedish Unemployment Funds. Focus was on measures carried out by the communicator to enhance and streamline communication and how the communicator supports their coworkers in their own communication role. In order to fulfill the purpose, two main questions were asked;? How do the communicators support and develop their coworkers communication role?? What to the communicators identify as challenges in their work in doing this?The theoretical base of the essay was Heide and Simonssons (2011) challenges for the professional communicator. The theory states that organizations communication processes are the foundation to its existence and development and that the professional communicator therefore needs a solid base with the possibility to monitor the whole organization.A questionnaire was sent to communicators in all Swedish Unemployment Funds and even though the non-response was rather considerable, the answers received was assessed sufficient to make an analysis.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka möjligheter och svårigheter personalen ser i arbetet med ensamkommande barn. Studien använder en kvalitativ metod med hermeneutisk inriktning. I resultatet presenteras fem teman, trygghet, skilda förväntningar, samverkan mellan personal och andra aktörer, makt- och delaktighet och att förhålla sig till motstridiga känslor. I resultatet framkom vikten av en trygg relation, empati och förståelse. Kulturella skillnader kan ge upphov till konflikter.

The purpose of this investigation is to study how librarians experience bookcrossing. We focused on the two following questions: Which variations are there in librarians conceptions of bookcrossing as literature exchange and reading support activity? Which variations are there in librarians conceptions of bookcrossing compared to other methods of literature exchange and reading support? Bookcrossing is an international book club where you share your books by leaving them at public places. The thesis is focused on librarians? conceptions and not the conceptions of members of bookcrossing.

The individual educational plan (IEP) is a document used in Swedish schools. The purpose of the document is to help and support students who have difficulties in their schoolwork in various ways. In my experience, the student does not always understand the importance of establishing an IEP as a support and help at school. In this study I try to understand the students? experience of its relevance and purpose and the impact which can be achieved by an IEP.

Denna uppsats undersöker följande frågeställningar: Spelar personalens agerande en avgörande roll för huruvida kunden återkommer till spa-salongen? Hur bör företaget förhålla sig till endera utfall? Vi har valt att undersöka spa-industrin då vi finner lojalitetsproblematiken i denna kontext intressant då tjänstemötet omfattas av en hög interaktion och intimitet spa-personal och kund emellan. Uppsatsen baseras på ett induktivt angreppssätt då vi utgått ifrån vårt empiriska material och sedermera jämfört detta med teorin. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativt präglad metod genom intervjuer med spa-besökare och spa-ansvariga. Vidare har vi utformat ett frågeformulär som riktats emot spa-besökare som kompletterar vår kvalitativa metod.

Researchers in the field of political corruption generally expect voters in democratic states to lose trust in corrupted politicians. However, there are cases where corrupted politicians maintain their popularity, a phenomenon studied in this thesis. Focus lies on three cases of political corruption: the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi who has been the subject of several judicial investigations and court cases; the impeached former president of Lithuania, Rolandas Paksas; and the German Christian Democratic Union's (CDU) involvement in a party funding scandal. The cases are chosen based on the method of agreement. Berlusconi, Paksas and CDU have all, in spite of their corrupt behaviour, kept or regained popular support among a large group of their country's citizens.

Background: Patients who deliberate self harm often feel disappointed with the health care. The consequence of this may be that the patient avoid to seek help after self harming. Nurses' often experience these patients to be difficult and hard to deal with. Both patients' and nurses' thoughts about the situation may affect the situation in a negative way. A good relationship between the caregiver and patient is important.
