In a time where information overload is a fact, well formulated messages is required and communication is a big contributing element for building strong brands. In the north of Sweden, Norrmejerier is one of the big actors with dominance on the dairy factor market. Through making milk products that lands in the consumers refridgerators, they are not only working for economical interest but also for improving the nature of the north of Sweden. Through visual communication, Norrmejerier shows the consumers a beneficial view of the north of Sweden which corresponds to the populations own impression of their part of the country. This contributes to a feeling of belonging that makes strong and loyal consuments. The feeling of belonging is also reflected in Norrmejeriers commercial movies, that uses the consumers conscience to make costumers. By two group interviews and a semiotic analysis of Norrmejeriers commercial movies, this study aims to examine how Norrmejerier uses qualities of the north of Sweden when building their brand.

The aim of this study is to examine whether the image of the stereotype librarian has created conflict in young librarians´ personal identity and/or professional identity and if this has shown in their choice of clothes? Our purpose was to find out, with the help of their choice of clothes, the young librarians view of themselves as individuals and professional librarians. We have searched for the answers to the following questions: - Do young librarians experience that clothing at their workplace has any significance and if so, what do they want to signal with their clothing? - Do they experience that clothing and appearance has any impact on their personal and professional identity? - How do they relate, by their choice of clothes, to the stereotype images of the librarian? We have performed qualitative interviews with eleven young female librarians. As a theoretical framework we have used ideas and concepts from different areas of research; semiotics, social psychology, business administration and ethnology.

Inom hospitalitybranschen är det mötet mellan gäst och personal som är i fokus. Det blir allt viktigare för organisationen att tillfredsställa gästen på ett emotionellt plan, utöver den grundläggande servicen. Forskning visar på att kulturen i organisationen påverkar personalens förhållningssätt till gästen, och att ett gott värdskap kan bidra till gästnöjdhet och lojalitet. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka hur organisationskulturen påverkar värdskapet mot gästen inom hospitalitybranschen.Uppsatsen var en litteraturstudie som grundades på fem vetenskapliga artiklar vilka granskades, bearbetades och sammanfattades utifrån uppsatsens syfte. Resultatet av studien visade på att det inte är den fysiska produkten som är av störst värde för gästen, utan miljön och värdskapet runt omkring.

I början av 1900-alet växte människor med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning upp på stora, enkönade institutioner. Som en reaktion på samhällets avståndstagande från människor med funktionsnedsättningar växte så småningom ideal om avinstitutionalisering och normalisering fram alltmer. Fr.o.m. 1994 har vi i Sverige en lag, Lagen om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade (LSS) (SFS 1993:387), som syftar till att understryka dessa människors självständighet och tillförsäkra dem självbestämmande, valfrihet och integritet. Till följd av denna samhälleliga utveckling är särskolan fr.o.m.

In this Master's Thesis a rhetorical analysis is applied to reading suggestions in the database Boktips.net. Boktips.net utilize the Internet for readers advisory by offering public libraries in Sweden to use and participate to its contents. The aim is to examine how library staff writes about literature in Boktips.net. The empirical material is delimited to reading suggestions on fiction for adults. Areas in focus of the analysis are rhetorical context, disposition, style and components from the point of view of content: summary, evaluation on portrayal of characters and setting, narrative, language use, genre and themes, entertainment, insights and external information.

Utmaningar vid förändring. En fallstudie om arbetsmiljön på storsjukhuset. Examensarbetet tar sin utgångspunkt i en fusion mellan två olika universitetssjukhus. Sammanslagningen är ett led i landstingets förnyelsearbete för att stärka regionen på lång sikt. Examensarbetet är utformad som en fallstudie och belyser en klinik där personal från de två sjukhus som slagits samman är verksamma.

The sheep?s wool is a good raw material thanks to a lot of different qualities as itis water rejecting and easy to form. The wool production today is concentrated to specificplaces in the world which leads to environmental problems and a distorted market. InJämtland, a province in Sweden, there is right now a staking going on for local production andrefining of wool in a project called Ullforum.

In this degree project a study of the importance of a graphic identity to companies has been done. A questionnaire among small companies in Dalarna has beenmade. From this, three sets of graphic profile-program have been formed andthese are suitable for new companies. This essay is about two Swedish folk musicians, Anders Rosén and Leif Stinnerbom, who have been playing two important rolls in the developing process of Swedish folk music, on their separate ways. The main part of this work is focused on the era called ?The Folk Music Vogue?, which was the era when my informants were in the limelight on the Swedish fiddler scene of the 70s.Our music culture is constantly lying under the change of progress and I find it interesting to reflect how these kinds of changes are affecting the role of the musician.In this essay I am reflecting on the different perspectives of the musicianship according to my informants and how they both are referring to their role as musicians. The purpose is further on to see how they have been relating to the change of progress on the field of the Swedish folk music during the 70s and up to this date. Throughout interviews with the informants I am analyzing their personal relationship to their life as folk musicians.

Följande examensarbete är en litteraturöversikt med syfte att beskriva potentiella strålrisker och metoder för stråldosreducering för patienter och personal i samband med koronarangiografi. I takt med pågående forskning sker en utveckling mot allt mer avancerade undersökningar och behandlingsformer vars utförande i flera fall inkluderar röntgengenomlysning. Exempelvis frambringar koronarangiografi (kranskärlsröntgen) möjligheten att kartlägga förträngningar inuti patientens blodkärl och fortsatt behandling med ballongvidgning, PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention), kan förhindra en potentiell hjärtinfarkt. Tidsmässigt långa procedurer med begränsad användning av adekvat strålskydd kan dock medföra risker såsom hudskador och linsgrumling (katarakt) samt sena effekter avseende genetiska skador och cancer. Kunskap och medvetenhet utgör därmed nödvändiga faktorer för tillämpning av förebyggande åtgärder.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med denna studie är att kartlägga attityder på ledningsnivå till att använda fysisk aktivitet för de anställda som medel för att öka de ekonomiska vinsterna i företaget.Frågeställningar:? Hur ser attityderna till fysiskt aktiva medarbetare ut, utifrån ett ledningsperspektiv på företaget?? Hur ser företagsledningen på kopplingen mellan medarbetarnas fysiska status och företagets ekonomiska resultat?MetodInsamling av material till studien skedde genom intervjuer och utgår ifrån en kvalitativ undersökningsansats. Kontakt togs med en person på ledningsnivå på fem företag. Denna person kom sedan att representera respektive företags attityder. Intervjuer gjordes även med två ledande organisationer på den svenska arbetsmarknaden, en på arbetsgivarsidan respektive en på arbetstagarsidan som komplement till övriga intervjuer.ResultatDe attityder kring hälsoekonomi som framkom i denna studie var av varierande karaktär.

Förskolans läroplan reviderades år 2011. Ambitionen var att höja kvaliteten och tydliggöra yrkesrollerna i förskolan. I dagens förskola arbetar två yrkesgrupper, förskollärare och barnskötare. Yrkesgrupperna har organiserat sig i olika fackförbund; förskollärare i Lärarförbundet och barnskötare i Kommunal. För att förstå bakgrunden till revideringen har studiens syfte varit att nå kunskap om fackförbundens synsätt på förskolans verksamhet och dess personal.

Though still well used in Swedish schools, textbooks are no longer under any governmental control or inspection. It is now responsibilities of the teacher, thus, knowledge is considered crucial. Therefore, the aim of this study was firstly to investigate if and how four biology/natural science textbooks, produced 1957-2008 for primary school years (3) 4-6, expressed any sex, gender and/or sexuality norms. Moreover, due to thoughts of queer theoretic Judith Butler, the study also investigated if and how these three norms interacted. By examining what the textbooks mediated, the purpose was finally to find out if and how the norms differed or not.

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences between non-audited and audited sustainability reports and in that way indicate the significance of auditing to the contents of a sustainability report. The study was delimited to include three companies that create sustainability reports according to GRI guidelines, and also have changed from non-audited to audited reports.The study is an exploratory study where we started from companies that follow GRI's standard and who have changed from being non-assured to assured and certified. In order to examine any differences we have started out from corporate sustainability reports and with the basis of these latter gather those changes which may have occurred during the changeover. We therefore chose to conduct a literature review on each company's non-audited sustainability reports and compare them with each company's audited and certified sustainability reports. Furthermore our study has been made on the basis of an assessment model based on the concepts of materiality, completeness and comparability.The study showed that the audited sustainability reports in all companies were more focused and more detailed about the aspects GRI established for the performance indicators.

The purpose of this study was to illustrate a parental perspective of children´s participation and quality of live through personal assistance. Important aspects of parents' experiences were highlighted based on how they experienced participation and quality of life for their children. We chose to use a qualitative approach in the form of four individual interviews with parents from different municipalities in central Sweden. The study was conducted with a narrative approach in which we used a holistic perspective. Parents' experiences were highlighted over time to create a complete picture.
