Companies use different forms of representation to promote business negotiations. The regulations for the right to deduction for the cost of representation are stated in Chapter 16 section 2 of the Swedish Income Tax Act (IL). According to the law there must be an im-mediate connection between the expenditure and the business practice and the claimed de-duction must be reasonable. The Swedish tax authority publishes general recommendations regarding representation which are used as guidelines for the tax payer to follow. The gen-eral provision about tax deduction can be found in Chapter 16 section 1 of the Swedish In-come Tax Act (IL), stating that expenses to acquire or retain income shall be deductible.

Syfte: Att undersöka hur äldre personer och personal på ett vårdboende som lagar maten på plats uppfattar kvaliteten på den mat som serveras samt huruvida det förekommer några skillnader i deras åsikter.Metod: Kvalitativ design med semistrukturerade intervjuer och kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Fyra äldre och fem personal, samtliga kvinnor, intervjuades på ett vårdboende i Uppsala. Dessa valdes ut med hjälp av kostombudet på vårdboendet, s.k. strategiskt urval.Resultat: Äldre och personal uppfattade maten som god, varierad och ofta förekommande. Valfrihet, hemlagad, traditionell mat och mat som varken är för stark eller salt är uppskattat av de äldre enligt både personal och de äldre.

Knowledge organization is perceived as a central, constituting activity defining the notion of libraries. Critique calling for a new theoretical foundation voiced by active researchers within library and information science concerning the current knowledge organization has been utilized as a point of departure. Specifications concerning a new theoretical foundation implied by these critiques are considered within this thesis and theory found in The Order of Things by Michel Foucault proposed as an alternative theory for understanding knowledge organization as a human science where meaning, value and representation, by which the ordering of things is possible, is acknowledged as a result of human activity and history. Thus meaning, value and representation must be perceived as dynamic. An example of implementation of the proposed theory has been achieved by the use of bibliometrics.

The purpose of this study is to establish how a few youngsters have experienced their time in contact families and which, if any, significance their respective ?contact families? has for them today. The study aims to determine the life situation in the youth?s families at the time support through ?contact families? was initiated and the youths? own view of the reasons for this support. We also want to shed light on the meaning that the contact families had on the youth; considering both positive as well as negative meaning.

Trade Unions are finding it increasingly challenging to appeal to employees and all trade unions alike are encountering new challenges to attract and retain members. Additionally a more diversified and educated labor market is creating demands for trade unions to better meet individual needs. The purpose of this study was to explore and analyze the role of branding in Unionen, the largest white-collar trade union in Sweden, and how branding efforts help in attracting and retaining trade union members. The theoretical foundation of this thesis is based on theories related to corporate branding and relationship marketing. Furthermore, the study develops and introduces the concept of member branding in the context of trade unions.

The OMX-case entailed considerable uncertainty about the relationship between tax treaties and Swedish domestic law. Previous approaches to handle rule conflict between them was put out of action for the first time when an internal rule took precedence over tax treaties. The Greece-case came a few years later where there were hopes that it would be decided in plenary session to return to the view that prevailed before the OMX-case, which did not happen. Instead the Supreme Administrative Court ruled that the tax treaties shall in principle be given preference, but that in exceptional situations tax treaties can be infringed to an internal rule's benefit, so called tax treaty override. Such procedure is acceptable if the legislature gives "clear expression" of the intention of a certain type of income is to be taxed in Sweden, or that a particular new rule applies regardless of the provisions in tax treaties.The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the supreme administrative courts management of rule collision between domestic law and tax treaties in the Greece-case.

Identity includes an individual´s self-image and the consciousness about their self. It is about being the same person despite changes in their life situation. The identity often get´s fragile because of the disease. Beacuse of the individual´s feeling of lost identity there may arise a conflict between the person and people in his or her surroundings. They may no longer see the sick person in the same way as they used to.

This Master of Science thesis is conducted at the faculty Integrated Product Development at theRoyal Institute of Technology and in cooperation with EssNet Interactive AB, both situated inStockholm. In the report the final results and the road to get there is described as well as thedesign process and how the process is used to obtain the goal of this thesis.The author of this thesis has developed the design and the function of an interactive videoterminal (IVT) and by using semantics created an encouraging gaming design. The projectspurpose was to change the anonymous withheld shape and produce an experience of gamingmachine that has been absent. The work was aimed to answer the question: How does oneproceed to develop the IVT and by using semantics creating an understanding of gamingmachine?In general the author wants to show that small changes, with the help of design and its signals,can completely change the overall picture of a product.

For the past decades, culture has been given a role as a factor for local and regional development. But what is meant by development and in what ways culture can be of importance in this aspect can be unclear. This thesis examines the perception of the role for local and regional development of one specific cultural place and network ? the cultural cooperative Not Quite in Fengersfors, Sweden. I study the way the role as developer is expressed and interpreted in the discourse of the cultural workers who are members of the network and in the discourse of public cultural policy in the region Västra Götaland and in Åmål municipality.

I denna uppsats har vi undersökt ämnet personal branding. Inom personal branding har vi studerat hur rekryteringsföretaget ser på detta område men även vilka faktorer de tycker är viktiga för att skapa ett personal brand, samt om det är möjligt i en arbetsrelaterad situation att dra nytta av sitt personal brand och på så sätt skapa fördelar gentemot sina konkurrenter. Vi tycker detta område är viktigt att studera därför att det är ett relativt nytt ämne/ begrepp. Då vi lever i ett mer individualistiskt samhälle och konjunkturen skiftar samt att konkurrensen hårdnar på arbetsmarknaden tycker vi det är viktigt att undersöka olika alternativa medel som kan vara till hjälp i sökandet på det nya jobbet. Vi valde därför att studera Priens (1992) modell över anställningsförloppet för att få en bättre förståelse för rekryteringens olika delmoment men även för att kunna identifiera i vilka arbetsprocesser man kan förmedla sitt personal brand.

The aim of this paper is to get a deeper understanding if research about international relations has any practical meaning. The main focal point is about the importance of the scholar idea soft power, and its meaning on foreign policy actions through expressions. A quantity and quality method is used. The point of the main theory that concerns international relations takes a rationalistic perspective, and expands it to the notion that ides can have an impact on policy outcomes. Three different types of research utilization can be traced to determine in which way an idea is getting implemented.

Syftet med den här magisteruppsatsen är att få en bild av hur skolledare och lärare ser på kommunikationsformen medarbetarsamtalet, kopplat till skolutveckling, i den svenska gymnasieskolan. Uppsatsen följer en fenomenologisk forskningsansats, i vilken en etnografisk modell med åtta kvalitativa intervjuer av tre skolledare och fem lärare på två gymnasieskolor setts som en fallstudie. Materialet har analyserats med hjälp av en narrativ metod och kritisk diskursanalys (CDA) och resultatet visar att skolledare och lärare talar om skolutveckling på disparata sätt i medarbetarsamtalet men också att förberedelser och feedback på medarbetarsamtalet skiljer sig åt och upplevelsen av medarbetarsamtalet är därför att det inte påverkar skolutvecklingen på de två gymnasieskolorna..

Detta är en studie genomförd med syfte att ta reda på hur personal i förskolan tänker kring, samt använder tecken som stöd som ett verktyg för att främja barns kommunikation och språkutveckling i den dagliga verksamheten. Studien är kvalitativ och metoden som använts för att samla in material är intervjuer med personal som arbetar i förskola. Resultatet har visat en medvetenhet hos personalen av betydelsen att använda tecken som stöd för att främja barns kommunikation och språkutveckling. Resultatet visar att trotts denna medvetenhet är arbetet begränsat då personalen känner att de inte har tillräckligt med kunskap för att arbeta med tecken som stöd. Slutsatsen av studien visar att personal i förskolan anser att tecken som stöd är ett värdefullt verktyg men att det behövs mer forskning kring dess betydelse för barns kommunikation och språkutveckling för att kunna utveckla detta arbete i förskolans verksamhet. .

Den här uppsatsen har syftet att redogöra för om inhyrning från bemanningsföretag inskränker företrädesrätten till återanställning för arbetstagare som blivit uppsagda på grund av arbetsbrist. Sedan legaliseringen av bemanningsbranschen i Sverige har den blivit väl etablerad. Idag består Arbetsgivar- och branschorganisationen bemanningsföretagen av cirka 500 medlemsföretag och sätter årligen 172 000 personer i arbete. Den omfattning som bemanningsbranschen idag har gör det angeläget att undersöka hur branschen påverkar arbetstagares anställningsskydd, framförallt hur rbetsgivare genom inhyrning av personal kringgår företrädesrätten till återanställning för arbetstagare som blivit uppsagda på grund av arbetsbrist. Det har visat sig ovanligt förekommande att arbetsgivare hyr in personal istället för att återanställa arbetstagare med företrädesrätt.

The production costs have steadily increased within the construction industry during the 21st century. Voices are raised meaning that the construction industry is too unsuccessful in making the production more efficient and to develop it?s way of working. One way to deal with the production costs is to minimise the waste, with waste meaning activities that doesn?t add value to the finished product.
