In order not to put pressure on the healthcare service we as a society need to think in terms of salutogenetic and health promotion. Research has shown that physical activity has great effects to healthy aging.

One of our big public health problems in Sweden is that human beings are too inactive in outdoor settings. That is why stress related diseases increase and influence humans both mentally and physical. The physical activity is halved among many children when they start school and the older they become the less they enjoy school. It is also an increasing problem that children and youth in today's society have lack of worthwhile experiences in the nature. The aim of this study was therefore to examine how the experience of outdoor environment had importance for health and learning on upper secondary school pupils.

Background: Throughout life, sexuality is a central aspect of being human and to experience a full and healthy. Several diseases and treatments can cause problems related to sexuality and sexual health. Despite this, research has shown that nurses, for various reasons choose not to take up the subject with their patients. Aim: The aim of this literature-based study was to illuminate nurses' experiences of talking with patients about sexuality and sexual health. Method: A literature-based study where both qualitative and quantitative studies, have been used.

Bakgrund Antalet kirurgiska ingrepp förväntas öka, och därmed ökar även den totala risken för komplikationer. Världshälsoorganisationen, World Health Organization, WHO, har tagit fram en Checklista att använda i samband med kirurgiska ingrepp för att minska komplikationer och öka patientsäkerheten. Syftet med föreliggande studie är att undersöka operationssjuksköterskors erfarenheter av Checklistan. Metod En pilotstudie genomfördes och fem operationssjuksköterskor intervjuades. Intervjuerna transkriberades ordagrant och en manifest kvalitativ innehållsanalys gjordes med induktiv ansats. Resultatet visar att det fanns hinder vid användning av Checklistan, det fanns en ovana vid de nya rutiner som Checklistan innebär, arbetslagets attityder påverkar användningen och att vissa i operationsteamet visade oförståelse för Checklistans syfte.

BackgroundPeople with psychiatric problems, despite efforts in recent decades still experience vulnerability. Patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD), where self-harm is common, often live in difficult and complex social relationships because of their illness. Additional knowledge and studies about mental illness, self-harm, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and the therapeutic alliance are needed.Purpose and MethodThis study aims to examine how staff perceive and describe: DBT as a treatment method; the therapeutic alliance and the importance it has for treatment. The study utilises a qualitative approach with a qualitative content analysis method and presents earlier research on DBT and the therapeutic alliance. The empirical material consists of focus group interviews comprising three DBT - teams.

According to the health care law and the national care guarantee, all individuals with mental illness have the right to good health care that is knowledge based as well as to rehabilitation where and when they need it. They also should be able to choose and have control over who is performing the care, including the design of these efforts. The purpose of this study is to investigate patients' experiences of general psychiatric emergency care and the cooperation between outpatient care, inpatient care and the municipality. This study is a descriptive cross-sectional study, conducted with a quantitative and qualitative method. The study is performed in collaboration with Akademiska Sjukhuset and is part of a larger quality improvement project.

The study examines personal traits and work tasks that are presented in job ads for Professional Communicators in Sweden today. From this material the author wants to calculate what kind of personal type that characterize the profession with the help of the Big Five theory.Material/ Method: Quantitative research method based on job ads.Main results: The study shows that personal traits that employers look for in Professional Communicators today are mainly traits from the Conscientiousness group with characteristics such as independent, structured and planning. The second biggest personality group is Extraversion where personal traits like driving, outgoing and social were put.

The aim of child health care is to promote health and development for all children, to early identify problems that concern children´s growth and development and to prevent ill-health among children. Today in our society the proportion of children who are underweight are few.The aim with this study was to describe paediatric nurses experience in meeting with underweight children and their parents. Interviews were implemented and analyzed according to qualitative content analysis. Focus was placed on looking at differences and interpretations in the text content. The analyse resulted in six main categories, such as a need of sensitivity and a holistic view from the nurse, difficulties in handling the meeting because lack of tools.

This master thesis is about the production of the record ?Brutus? with the band ?Trilobit?. Trilobit consists of the three musicians, myself, Stina Hellberg Agback on pedal harp, Simon Sva?rd on guitar and Karl Jansson on drums.During the production, I have analyzed different aspects of my own musicality and also the role of the pedal harp in jazz. I have found techniques that have simplified chromatic movements on the pedal harp, and also techniques that has developed the rhythmical aspect of my improvisation.I have also looked into my process in improvising and composing and developed new aspects, many thanks to the close collaboration with Simon Sva?rd..

SAMMANFATTNINGSyfte. Utvärdera omvårdnadsdokumentationens kvalité och omfattning i elektronisk patientjournal på kirurgisk vårdavdelning. Metod. De senaste 60 journalerna från två kirurgiska vårdavdelningar valdes ut genom bekvämt urval. Varje journal lästes och bedömdes av båda författarna.

We where asked to write a webapplication, with similar functionalityas an existing desktop application. The application can todayrecord sounds from a person, mix it together at the optimal place withanother, similar sound and play back the result.The application used mathematical calculation that the developerswhere not familiar with, therefore it was decided to focus on the partsthat involved recording and playing sound, to pave the way for anyfuture implementation.The follwing prototypes where implemneted:1. What affect if an incident is reported?- an interview study with nursesABSTRACTEveryday in health care, there are incidents which can harm patients. However, reporting these incidents is not always a positive experience. The number of incident reports which are documented are a lot fewer than the number of incidents that actually occur. The purpose of the present study was to describe factors that affect nurses? decisions on whether to report an incident or not.

Buller är ett stort arbetsmiljöproblem, som kan leda till ohälsa. Det är viktigt att personal som i sitt arbete löper risk för hörselskador använder hörselskydd. Studiens syfte var att beskriva och jämföra användning av hörselskydd bland personal som arbetar i bullrig arbetsmiljö inom verkstadsindustrin. Studien var en tvärsnittsstudie med en deskriptiv och komparativ design. Data samlades in med hjälp av en enkät.

Slutsatsen av studien, som baserar sig på 11 vetenskapliga artiklar, blir att AIMS ökar patientsäkerheten samt bidrar till att tillförlitligheten och kvalitetssäkringen av anestesiologisk dokumentation säkras. Denna slutsats baseras på de gemensamma faktorer som framkommit i resultatet av de artikelgranskningar som genomförts inom ramen för studien.
